Reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:46, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't include anything that the station didn't pay for. The campaign ads were from the network. The only slogans that matter are the ones that the station themselves bought. - NeutralHomerTalk05:33, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That makes sense. I might take those back off then, since their current one is one that they bought themselves. I can go to what it was previously and take those off. Thanks for letting me know. (JoeCool950 (talk) 05:43, 7 July 2010 (UTC))[reply]
Sure, glad I can help. :) Let me know if you have any other questions at my talkpage. - NeutralHomerTalk05:52, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed back to how you had it. Left an explanation as to why that is like that, to help. Could you though, at the former staff in my sandbox later on. Someone changed that, but I feel that the former staff that use to work for the station should be on there. The person who changed it, I just added one more person to their list, so that the person who changed how I fixed the former staff doesn't get mad. I'll put what was up there in my sandbox. You can let me know what was wrong with it, so that I know what needs to be taken off. I did all that work in my sandbox, and that makes me mad that they would take that off. Whoever bolded and capitalized all of the names, I fixed that. You can just let me know what needs to be fixed. I kind of have an idea, but let me know. Thanks. (JoeCool950 (talk) 05:58, 7 July 2010 (UTC))[reply]
I have seen the edits by that user and due to surgery on Friday and burnout from previous discussions on this, I just don't have the energy to fight the user on that. Personally, I can see some need for a lessening of the lists, but I also feel the lists are notable, so I am in a gray area there. Ask on WP:TVS, the main television station Wikiproject, someone there might be able to help. Sorry I couldn't be more assistance there. - NeutralHomerTalk06:35, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What do I need to do, if I want my Userpage deleted?? Do I get to keep Sandbox, with Userpage stuff, in case I change my mind?? (JoeCool950 (talk) 03:55, 31 October 2014 (UTC))[reply]

@JoeCool950: Tag your page with {{dbu-u1}} (It will place a tag at the top of your page and lets an administrator know to delete it). You'll still be able to keep your Sandbox, as it would only be your user page that gets deleted. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:56, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You user page or the staff? If it is the news staff, you can do that yourself. If it is the user page altogether, then contact an administrator. I, nor will others, will not remove any content from your user page, unless it is vandalism. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 03:19, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KKZQ, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Classic Rock (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Kix Country.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Kix Country.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notice

The file File:KKXX.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free former logo being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in a gallery of former logos in KBFP-FM#Previous logos which fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFG. Non-free former logos can be used as long as their use complies with WP:NFC#cite_note-4 and this almost always means the logo itself about the logo and the associated change in brandling that led to its replacement is the subject of sourced critical commentary. Simply adding the logo to "show" what it looks like is not considered sufficient to satisfy WP:NFC#CS, except in cases where the logo is being used for primary identification purposes at the top of or in the main infobox of an article about the organization the logo represents.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 14:22, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
