2020 Democratic Party Vice Presidential Selection
I'm sorry that the changes I made were disruptive. I thought that the information was substantial enough to edit. Can you inform me as to what the standards are for an edit like that. Thanks!User talk: Aricmfergie 19:26, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Aricmfergie: Familiarize yourself with the policies and guidelines of editing Wikipedia. On the 2020 Democratic Party vice presidential candidate selection article, you re-added an edit a different editor made that had just been reverted. The editor was told to bring their edits to the talk page, but you re-added them, and then re-added them again after they were reverted again. You had violated the BOLD, revert, discuss cycle – if you make a bold edit that gets reverted, do not re-add it, bring it to the talk page to discuss it first – and then you were bordering on edit warring by re-adding the information without discussing it first. Just familiarize yourself with these editing policies before you jump right into things so you don't get yourself into trouble. Not all editors are nice or willing to help others who don't follow the rules, they'll just report you. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 13:50, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Vandalism
Hello, Ukrainian bots (two entries by Dem1997 and 93.77.229.92) keep vandalizing the page of Anatoli Ivanishin and writing he is Ukrainian (which is totally untrue). Could you please do something about it? Buxareu (talk) 14:06, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Buxareu: I requested protection for the page, but the protection will eventually run out if it does get approved. To be self-sufficient, if the vandalism continues then issue warnings to the vandals. If they continue vandalizing past the final warning level, then file a report against them. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 14:35, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello Jjj1238 Would you write /translate the article of Isabelle de Charrière (Q123386) for the latvian wikipedia? That would be appreciated. Boss-well63 (talk) 00:08, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
African American vs. Black
If you are going to use the term "African American" please add a source that uses it. Her parents are from Jamaican and India. Current RS use "Black" or "Women of Color." Thanks. Stoney1976 (talk) 23:26, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Stoney1976: My issue was that she was being referred to as the "first black woman," when she is actually the first black anybody to become a major party running mate. My switch to African American was just to neutralize the gender signifier that was unnecessary and misleading, since I felt as if saying black "person" seemed a bit informal, although if that is a better option then I am fine with it. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 23:32, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- I agree. Cheers,67.181.32.32 (talk) 08:04, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
A person does not change their nationality by emigrating. That is why we have the category Category:Naturalised citizens of Spain, which describes Alexei Shirov. Rathfelder (talk) 16:07, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Rathfelder: Please look at any other emigrant category. Just to name a few, Category:Latvian emigrants to New Zealand, Category:Armenian emigrants to France, Category:Polish emigrants to Russia, this is the standard formatting for these categories, I didn't invent this. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 16:14, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- Many of them are wrong. At best its unneccessary and at worst it is misleading. Rathfelder (talk) 17:07, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

This user's adding some untrusted sources of info. For instance, regarding Rabiya Mateo's birthdate. I provided a reliable reference which is an article from PEP. PEP stands for Philippine Entertainment Portal, Inc. It is a joint venture of Summit Media and GMA New Media, a subsidiary of GMA Network Inc. (one of Philippines' largest network) which makes my reference reliable. and yet, this user keeps on removing this reference and changing it with unreliable references. He should be suspended. Shawntheshipper You're being annoying by reverting and deleting legitimate references there and you're currently on edit warring with so many users. As you did here, you're reverting everyone edits HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and many more... Stop reverting everyone's edit, you're being non-sense and content removal by deleting reliable sources is inappropriate Arabiya Sundall page isn't even your own page, everyone has the right to edits but yours are too disruptive and changing newly updated legitimate sources with an small local TV channel blog isn't accepted, even CNA article aren't legitimate sources sometimes you should also check the actual date released of the news.180.247.192.254 (talk) 14:15, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Mississippi State Flag
Hiya! Notice your edit on removing Mississippi’s flag.
They have had a new flag approved and it’s going on the statute books.
Take a look here - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Mississippi

Well how about this - https://www.nbcnews.com/video/mississippi-residents-embrace-new-state-flag-95451717539
- @Heidi bradshaw: Not entirely true, as the referendum hasn't been approved by the state legislature yet. There is disagreement on Wikipedia as to whether the flag is official now, and the mix-and-matching of what has a flag and what doesn't reflects that. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 03:10, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Reverting rima fakih changes that i made
Hey broskie hope you doin well I realized that you reverted my changes on rima fakih page That she is not muslim American and she is a Arab American there’s about 10 reliable sources online that they’re proofs Hope you reconsider your mind and help me for fixing real mistakes on Wikipedia Cuz as a muslim who used to live in America I would be uncomfortable if someone call me muslim American tbh. And that’s for all of us and even tho she is arab has more specific information for her!. Sincerely yours (Cashwashere (talk) 20:31, 4 January 2021 (UTC))
- @Cashwashere: Fakih was Muslim when she won Miss USA; her religion was a focal point of discussion after her win and she explicitly referred to herself as a Muslim American. All of that can be read further down in the article. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 22:25, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Yea she is muslim but that’s not the point tbh you should probably take a look over the internet for example 1 even on VOA news 2 hope you support me next tome if i made this change due my explanition--Cashwashere (talk) 18:51, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Please Don't Call Revision of Gerti Daub Article Vandalism
Please take another look at article Gerti Daub. You are accusing me of vandalism when what I actually did was revert the article to the way it was when it was rated B-class to the following WikiProjects:
WikiProject Biography / Arts and Entertainment (Rated B-class)
WikiProject Women (Rated B-class)
WikiProject Netherlands (Rated B-class)
This is before someone named Wes sideman deleted most of it. I would please ask that you change it back to when it was rated better than many of the articles on Wikipedia. Thank you. 2600:6C50:7003:800:CC64:4C6A:6797:7A19 (talk) 18:15, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, IP editor. Please consider logging in before editing and posting on talk pages. It will make it easier and less confusing to converse.
- About the article - I believe that what you are doing is in good faith; that is, you think you're doing the right thing. However, almost all of the content that you're attempting to add is unsourced, or unencyclopedic, or both. I'm not saying that everything you're adding is wrong, but the way you are going about it certainly is wrong. You're doing a massive revert back to the version of the page that you "wrote", rather than making small changes and discussing those changes with other editors.
- In any case, I would ask that you go to the Gerti Daub talk page to discuss this further before making any further edits to the article. Please read Help:Talk pages for detailed information on why this is the preferred way to make edits that other editors disagree with. Thank you. Wes sideman (talk) 12:36, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:American people of Hoa descent
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Category:American people of Hoa descent requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2021 June 4#People by nationality and Chinese language descent. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reversion boyfriend rumor
Hello, { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] }. I saw your revert on the info about Anya strongly rumored to be dating musician Malcolm McRae. Why did you say not relevant? Greg Dahlen (talk) 13:33, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Greg Dahlen: Please see WP:NOTATABLOID. Rumors about an individual's personal life are not suitable for an encyclopedia, and furthermore the point of Wikipedia is not to give a history of non-notable romantic relationships of an individual. If a romantic relationship is notable, well-sourced, and confirmed, it should be included, but in this case the relationship is not notable, well-sourced, or confirmed. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 14:06, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } to my mind Elle magazine is a very reliable source. You don't think it is? I'd think something in Anya's article should talk about her romantic life as people's romantic life is important in their life in general. Also, this current strongly rumored boyfriend is actually rather high-achieving in his own life. It's true that it's not confirmed, but to my mind the evidence and its being published in Elle is strong, strong enough that it can go into the article, with the information that it is a strong rumor and not confirmed. Wikipedia to my mind is not like other encyclopedias, since information on it can be changed easily it can have information that is not as solid i.e. absolutely confirmed as encyclopedias in permanent form. Greg Dahlen (talk) 14:25, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Greg Dahlen: Wikipedia is not a place for celebrity gossip. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 14:41, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

{ [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] }, Elle is not a gossip magazine. It is a solid well-regarded publication. The article from Elle presents strong evidence that Anya is in a relationship with McRae.
I'd like to add a "Personal life" section back to the Taylor-Joy article, actually with additional information. Here is what I'd like to write (citations are in parentheses):
Personal life
Taylor-Joy has been deliberately reticent about confirming her romantic relationships or sharing details of them. (https://www.bustle.com/entertainment/who-is-anya-taylor-joy-dating-relationship) She is rumored or strongly rumored to have been in several relationships, including a current one (as of October 2021) with musician Malcolm McRae. (https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a36477829/who-is-malcolm-mcrae-anya-taylor-joy-boyfriend/) (https://www.bustle.com/entertainment/who-is-anya-taylor-joy-dating-relationship)
Can you accept that, or any part of it? Greg Dahlen (talk) 15:30, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Greg Dahlen: Talking about a rumored relationship is celebrity gossip, regardless of the source it's coming from. We don't have a section about every romantic relationship an individual has had for a reason, it's irrelevant, and in this case not even confirmed. If you want to discuss its inclusion please do so on the article's talk page. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 16:10, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] }, I'm trying to write about it on the talk page but I want to make sure I understand your position. You don't like any part of the proposed Personal life section? Do you not even accept the part that says she hasn't been willing to confirm any relationship? Because her unwillingness to confirm is confirmed.
- As far as the relationships themselves go, I should say that there are shades of gray between gossip and confirmed. I think these are educated guesses, higher than gossip but not as strong as confirmed. Are you familiar with the concept of educated guesses? Greg Dahlen (talk) 18:02, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

I don't know how involved you are in the pageant community, but there are girls who pretend to be contestants every year. This Greek woman isn't the only one even this year, it's common and not relevant for inclusion. Not to mention, there was never an official confirmation she'd be competing, anybody can make a post on Instagram and say they're competing at Miss Universe. It's just irrelevant. If you don't have consensus, which you do not, yet continue to keep adding in the information, which you are, you are being a disruptive editor. Furthermore, you are relying on a non-neutral source. The Patreon for Israellycool literally reads that they are "creating Pro-Israel multimedia content." You cannot use a self-admitted pro-Israel source for a piece of information related to the Israel-Palestine conflict, that is clearly not neutral. I hope that this explains things better for you. Also, please remember to practice civility when talking with other editors. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 16:13, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
- Ok :@Jjj1238: how did you enjoy the competition? MaskedSinger (talk) 10:43, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- @MaskedSinger: I don't know what else you want to hear, I've already said everything. You are attempting to add a "controversy" that the consensus believes is irrelevant. I don't know how involved you are in the pageant community, but there are girls who pretend to be contestants every year. Hi, I saw you created S10 (musician), but there is also already Draft:S10 (singer)... ―Jochem van Hees (talk) 13:48, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Jochem van Hees: You are free to merge your draft into the article I made. I don't know why a draft was made, as an article could have been created right away. The notability is there. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 13:53, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
- It was draftified because at the time of creation it wasn't notable. It's been around for a while. It's not just my draft though, it's been expanded a lot by Ætoms. I personally also think that S10 (singer) is a more logical article title than S10 (musician). ―Jochem van Hees (talk) 14:00, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Jochem van Hees and Jjj1238: How do you think we should proceed with this? I'd suggest moving the draft back to mainspace and have S10 (musician) redirect to S10 (singer). Or do you think it's necessary to wait for the AfC review? ― Ætoms [talk] 14:24, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Ætoms: @Jochem van Hees: I don't think waiting for the review is necessary. The notability at this point is indisputable, feel free to merge the draft into my article and rename it, or move the draft to the mainspace and redirect my article to it, anything you'd want to do. There's no need to keep it as a draft at this point. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 15:02, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Andrea Meza, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see MOS:NOBREAKS and Deprecation of BR WP:PSEUDOLIST Sciencefish (talk) 13:22, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Miss World 2022
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Miss World 2022, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
Happy Editing--IAmChaos 08:05, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi Jjj1238
Cornish is one of the officially recognised nationalities within the United Kingdom. Current Wikipedia manual of style allows for the use of nationalities that make up the UK in intros to biographies. Please stop changing Cornish to English. Bodrugan (talk) 13:33, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Bodrugan: The Wikipedia policy is based on the countries of the United Kingdom: English, Scottish, Welsh, etc., instead of British. Cornwall is part of England --- Cornish is not a nationality in this context, it is an ethnic group, much like Breton would be in France, or Sámi in Scandinavia; these people should be referred to by their nationalities (not ethnic groups) unless their notability stems specifically from work with this community, Jago's does not. I am not very invested in this but you are incorrectly applying Wikipedia policies. Please read WP:MOS/Bio and specifically this note on UK nationalities: There is no preference between describing a person as British rather than as English, Scottish, or Welsh. Decisions on which label to use should be determined through discussions and consensus. The label must not be changed arbitrarily. To come to a consensus, editors should consider how reliable sources refer to the subject, particularly UK reliable sources, and consider whether the subject has a preference on which nationality they identify by. The policy is referring to the countries of the UK, not every indigenous ethnic group of the UK. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 13:53, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- If what you're arguing is true, anyone born in Wales prior to the year 1967 would be regarded as English for the purposes of Wikipedia policy. Wales became legally separated from England and officially one of the constituent countries with the passing of the Welsh Language Act 1967, before that it was legally considered to be part of England. It seems that the policy is being used in an ethnic sense for periods prior to 1967 in the case of Welsh people. As Wikipedia policy states, we should avoid anachronism, the only way we can do that for Welsh people between the Wales and Berwick Act 1746 and the aforementioned act of 1967 is to recognise Welsh ethnicity during that period. Hello, I'm Sciencefish. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Andrea Meza, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sciencefish (talk) 09:20, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Sub-national flags
Please do not add or re-add sub national flags to articles like Miss Brazil 2022 without gaining consensus to do so. You are welcome to join the conversation at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Text formatting#Beauty pageants and special formatting? if you wish to change consensus. Editing against consensus is disruptive editing and can result in administrator actions such as a block. ☆ Bri (talk) 04:28, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Bri: Please don't leave warning messages like these on my talk page. We have both been editing beauty pageant articles for years, I think we're past the point of impersonal warnings. If there is something, just talk to me. I have not seen any consensus against adding flags, in fact, the only time I've ever seen the topic discussed is editors being reverted for removing the flags due to consensus to include them. The specific policy about sub-national flags says they should only be used when there is direct relevancy – I'd say that being a direct representative of the sub-national entity deems them relevant – but if you think they should be removed then you can try to find consensus for removing them yourself. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 11:13, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry if I caused offense, I acknowledge we have both been doing this for a while and I should have double checked. So, yeah, MOS:FLAGRELEVANCE seems to cover this situation. The articles aren't directly relevant to the region or the flag itself. I've been trying to socialize this with a lot of editors whose names I don't see as much as yours.
- The sub-national flags issue seems to be covered plainly in the MOS. It's backed up by discussions e.g. in Archive 12 concerning use in motorsport. There's a long discussion at Archive 8 concerning degree of sovreignty required for display of a flag (certainly not a national province). Flag and sub-national flag icon usage thread at Archive 11 seems to show no consensus for sub-national flags even for sister cities. If you really don't agree, then I think a new thread should be started at the MOS talkpage. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:57, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Bri: No worries, I know you're just trying to get things done. I took a look at the discussions you're mentioning and I don't believe this is the same situation. In regards to motorsports, it seems like they are talking about whether to use subnational flags in regards to the venues that the competitions are held in, and the opposition is stemming from how these subnational entities are not actually being represented, which of course is not the case at all in pageantry. I also don't believe the sister cities discussion is particularly relevant given the vastly different contexts. An example I think of which would actually be equivalent is in football. In football articles, subnational flags are used all the time when a subnational entity is represented by its own independent team. Just look at UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying, where the subnational flags of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are all displayed, because there are independent teams representing these entities. Look even deeper into Non-FIFA international football, and a number of subnational flags are displayed because this is an article about direct representation of these subnational entities. This is the same situation that I believe pageantry falls into, as contestants are representatives of subnational entities much like a football team would be, and these flags are not being used purely to demonstrate where a stadium is or that a specific city has a flag in general. It's a visual representation of representation itself. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 20:36, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- I might bring it up myself, I think we have a good test case at United States Women's Curling Championship in which I have no stake in the outcome. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:41, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Talia Dean
Hello, Jjj1238. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Talia Dean".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 23:29, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
It is not sensible to delete information on the subject of the article merely because it is under the heading ‘Controversies’. I have reverted you. Please don’t do that kind of thing again. Sweet6970 (talk) 13:36, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Sweet6970: Um no. That is not how this works. You added a "Controversies" section which is explicitly against WP:CSECTION. If you would like to include the information you added, then it can be woven into the rest of the article naturally without a negative spin on it as is put in a Controversies section, but that is your responsibility and not mine. Please remember to remain neutral while editing biographical articles. Your reversion of my edit is also taking this close to an edit war. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policies if you'd like to edit here. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 14:34, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- I did not add the section. If you don’t like the way the article is organised, then I suggest you start a discussion on the Talk page. I am surprised that you consider that my one revert is ‘close to an edit war'. I have now changed the heading. I trust you will not be deleting the material again – the text you deleted added relevant material about a woman who may be the next UK Prime Minister, whether you like that or not. Why did you undo my edit? Rdeman (talk) 04:43, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Rdeman: Because she is not Dutch. Her mother is Dutch, she is American. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 12:48, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- Well, Gigi herself likes to disagree with you: "I’m as Palestinian as I am Dutch': Gigi Hadid hits back at critics"

Midnights
Hi! I undid your recent edit to Midnights. There is no reason to club the images since Antonoff and Del Rey contribute to the album differently. Antonoff is a main producer and hence his image is found in Writing section. Del Rey is credited for one song, and hence her image is found in Music and Lyrics. I hope this clarifies. Regards. Miss France 2023
Hello, The M.A.CH 36 room is located in the town of Déols which is a neighboring town of Châteauroux but different. Gillesmourey (talk) 17:01, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
Her parents divorced in 2020 (since it's mentioned "two years ago") not when she was 2.
She was graduated in July 2022, not in June 2022, precisely on July 5, 2022 according to (http://e-resultats.ac-guadeloupe.fr/) CassiJevenn (talk) 20:30, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
- @CassiJevenn: Please read the sources. In a sourced interview, Ampiot states "Mes parents sont divorcés depuis mes deux ans mais ils s'entendent très bien."[1] The source you are attributing the "two years ago" likely misinterpreted this. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 20:37, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
- weird... it's mentioned "since two years" here : https://www.lalsace.fr/societe/2022/12/18/qui-est-xxx-sacree-miss-france-2023 CassiJevenn (talk) 20:42, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
- btw... there is only one source that mentions (the one you mentioned) "depuis mes deux ans" (since I'm 2) CassiJevenn (talk) 20:44, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

Asya Branch
Hi, there was no explanation for the rollback on Asya Branch, the edit's removed included No Social and citation bot cleanups. Was there a specific reason for the rollback? Sciencefish (talk) 17:50, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Sciencefish: There were a few acts of vandalism that occurred prior to that edit that I was reverting. Didn't see your edit, sorry! { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 18:03, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I've left a comment at the article Talk page. You've reverted my edit without discussion. That is quite right if a discussion is to follow, of course. Could you let me know what you think once you've read my comments? All the best, Emmentalist (talk) 19:48, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

YES, THERE IS -
The RFC's held at various former SSR's states agreed that SSR should be used if during the periods of USSR occupation. That does not validate what Soviet Russia DID - it just agrees with scholarly sources for identification. Stop your reverts, or the next step is reporting you to ANI - which I have no pleasure in doing. Thanks. HammerFilmFan (talk) 19:44, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- @HammerFilmFan: You are incorrect. There is no consensus for Baltic-related articles. I do not disagree that for Soviet republics such as Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, etc., the standard is the USSR, but there has never been a consensus for how to handle the Baltic states due to the historical independence and lack of international recognition of the Baltic states' occupation. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 20:12, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- Refer you to the Estonia TP - yes, there is - there have been many RFC's and the consensus was to include SSR. Please abide by it so that it doesn't have to get ugly. Thank you for your co-operation.
