[edit]Hello, I'm Loriendrew. I noticed that you recently removed content from Nicholas Alahverdian without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 20:57, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Tartary, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. No policy or guideline reason given for deletion Doug Weller talk 20:29, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Israeli attack on Gaza. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
Please do not add comments to a closed conversation at article talk, especially comments that don't so much approach WP:NOTFORUM as they do dive straight into it. Simonm223 (talk) 15:26, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- The entire article is vandalism. You should lose your editing privileges because you obviously have an agenda. Last I checked Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, which means I can use the talk page if I want to. Never, EVER contact me again. JerrySlimefeld (talk) 15:35, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- The article is not vandalism, and Simonm233 pointing out that your post violates NOTFORUM does not prove any agenda. The discussion was closed already and at any rate your comment was a throwaway generalization that didn't actually address the question of renaming. Below, I'l post a relevant template pertaining to such articles. Drmies (talk) 16:13, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't ask for your input. JerrySlimefeld (talk) 17:18, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- I am well aware of that; I am following up on a suggestion made by two fellow administrators on the vandalism noticeboard, where your edits were reported. Drmies (talk) 17:39, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Today you're an administrator, tomorrow I may be the owner of wikipedia. No one knows what the future holds! JerrySlimefeld (talk) 21:55, 26 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Nicholas Alahverdian shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
