A tag has been placed on File:BDA airport logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". I'm sorry for all the sudden hassle with the images. As part of a long-term project I've been moving images with the {{attribution}} license over to Commons. I've run across your photos there periodically, and since you are a long-term trusted user with many excellent photo uploads, I decided to move all of yours over immediately, so I pulled up your upload log and had a run through it. I do want to say "thanks" for your excellent image contributions, and I'm sorry again for the hassle. I think the only free images I didn't move over were the PD-Pre1978 ones; I'm still finding my way around copyright law and my comfort zone with those. An editor believes that because the photo taken before 1885 does not have an author or an initial publication date, it should be removed. This is true of many, many Old West images. Someone deleted from Color television the logo you uploaded in 2009 for the NBC peacock. They doubt the image is real. I certainly recall a similar image being used by the network, but do you have a reliable source for it? Where did you get it? Regards. Edison (talk) 04:45, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
