Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Maya Higa shaving her head for fundraiser.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Maya Higa shaving her head for fundraiser.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 10:06, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Pilaz. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sidemen, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:ONUS: all additions can be challenged on the grounds that, while verifiable, not every piece of information is relevant to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of everything (WP:NOTEVERYTHING), and we should strive to be synthetic, not exhaustive. We are also not in the business of promotion. This is not the first time you re-add that brand of cereal to the Sidemen article. Do not add it again without proper justification or discussion at Talk:Sidemen first. Tubefilter is not a reliable source, either. Pilaz (talk) 16:51, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

based on this discussion, tubefilter is considered reliable. i've been using tubefilter on a lot of my edits, so i don't get why only on this page it got removed for not being reliable. Http iosue (talk) 18:42, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning Issued

[edit]

Hi Http iosue! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of One True King several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable. All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:One True King, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you Lambert73 (talk) 22:29, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i have asked multiple times for your reasoning for reverting my edits, and you never responded and keep reverting my edits. Http iosue (talk) 22:46, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on One True King. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.Red-tailed hawk (nest) 00:29, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

understood, can you warn the other user too please, i have tried to ask multiple times the reason he keeps reverting my edits with no answer, he just kept reverting my edits Http iosue (talk) 00:31, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) You were at ...42+ reverts within approximately 24 hours. Rather than going back and forth in a way that violates WP:3RR 14 times over, next time, please take it to an article's talk page if you edit is challenged and discuss it with other users (the one for One True King is at Talk:One True King). If the other users continue to revert you and do not engage in discussion, then you can report them to the the edit warring noticeboard—but please do not go past the WP:3RR unless an exception obviously applies. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 00:32, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hey i don't know if this is possible but can you check "User:Mach9Wikia" and IP Address "174.234.107.19". i have a suspicion that this is the alt account of Lambert73. the moment the protection page got removed, these accounts added back edits from Lambert73. i have provided talk discussion in the talk page since the edit war last week, but none of these accounts even bother to discussed it and accuses me of censoring information. Http iosue (talk) 00:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
he tried to report me to admin noticeboard about last week edit warring, even though i already got banned for a day. Http iosue (talk) 02:07, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Red-tailed hawk sorry for pinging you again. Http iosue (talk) 02:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Red-tailed hawk can you help me please, another admin have blocked me for one week for my last week edit warring, even though i already served my ban. Http iosue (talk) 02:32, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did not block you for your previous edit-warring but for your two recent reverts reinstating the information that got you blocked last week.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:49, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
but i have stated my reasoning why, i have added discussion section on the talk page about my edits since last week but none of the user responded until an hour ago after he reported me. how is it fair im the only one got banned but the other guy did not even though he reverted my edits too?
also for the record about that edit, the editor wants to add an allegation about someone, even though the org never made any statements regarding it. he just added stuff based on his assumptions, even though on previous situation involving other members, the org has made statements regarding it. Http iosue (talk) 03:12, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
am i just supposed to ignore an edit thats based on assumption by a random user that's created like 2 days ago, and an IP address user. even though i have provided my reasoning last week on the talk page. how am i supposed to respond then? without it being accused of edit warring? Http iosue (talk) 03:17, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
also those accounts that makes the edits is awfully suspicious for being an alt account of the previous user that got indefinitely banned last week. i dont know if possible to check if its the same guy or not. Http iosue (talk) 03:19, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
also the fact that a new account knew exactly about wikipedia stuff like edit warring, reporting to admin noticeboard, etc. can you please investigate that account, im sure its an alt account of that dude that got banned last week. Http iosue (talk) 03:25, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Quinlan (talk) 01:44, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Recent Activity

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mach9Wikia (talkcontribs) 01:52, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i literally have provided discussion on the talk page and stated my reasoning, if you disagree feel free to tell me why at the talk page instead of pretending to be an admin. Http iosue (talk) 01:59, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring, as you did at One True King. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

can you explain why please, i have been blocked last week for my edit warring for one day, i haven't edit warred ever since then. Http iosue (talk) 02:30, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You don't need to ask for admin help, which potentially flags this question up to every single admin on the project; you can just ping the admin who blocked you. Or if you wish to appeal your block, do that instead. My advice, however, would be to just sit out the short block, and take this time to think about edit warring and what makes it such a pointless pursuit.
And yes, you did go back to the OTK article and revert an edit you disagreed with, and when you got reverted yourself, you did it again. That suggests you haven't quite overcome your tendency to edit war. --DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:22, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i'm not the one putting the "admin help" template btw, i have no idea why a random user randomly put that today. also yeah my bad for that one, i dont know edit warred also count for 2 reverts, i thought there's a 3 reverts rule to count as edit war. Http iosue (talk) 09:03, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I stumbled across your talk page whilst doing some other editing and noticed that you asked a question about the block; I put the {{Admin help}} on there because otherwise an admin might not notice it. The three-revert rule is our guideline for deciding when edit warring is serious enough to be penalised, but conducting unexplained reverts below that threshhold instead of following the WP:BRD mantra doesn't reflect highly on editors either. Passengerpigeon (talk) 23:14, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you explain how I should respond to it, considering I have provided discussion and explained with sources the reason for my edits/reverts on the talk page? The person that disagreed did not even engage in the discussion until they reported my accounts, and that discussion didn't go anywhere either. How do we resolve the disagreement then? considering that none of the admins or experienced editors even bothered to help resolve it and instead banned both of us without first resolving it.
