Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Hedy Lamarr, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( in the enhanced toolbar, or if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 20:38, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm KAP03. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Casimir Funk have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. -KAP03(Talk • Contributions • Email) 04:27, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I took out the Jewish tags because there is nothing in the article, or in the sourced pages, about him being ethnically Jewish. It's stupid to have them there unless someone can source a page stating such.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Casimir Funk. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. -KAP03(Talk • Contributions • Email) 04:35, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In what way does it constitute vandalism? I didn't change the core structure of the article. I didn't add anything malicious. All I did was remove some tags that were put in there without any source backing them up.

"counter-Semitic" is an anti-Semitic term and should not be used to replace anti-Semitic

Don't use it again please. Doug Weller talk 15:07, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ian.thomson (talk) 19:56, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NOTHERE lists Major or irreconcilable conflict of attitude or intention as one of the signs that a user is not here to build an encyclopedia.
I see from your very first edit you've been especially concerned with whether or not famous people are Jewish, downplaying the Jewish ancestry of some famous individuals and downplaying achievements of people with Jewish ancestry. Between that and acting like antisemitism is a thing, it's pretty clear that you are here with an antisemitic agenda. About the only way you could possibly be unblocked is if you promised you would not make any more edits relating to Jews, Judaism, or Jewish ancestry. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:56, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, please! Others agreed with me on the edits for Steinmetz, Cervantes, and Herschel. None of the sources provided on their pages for being Jewish seemed very reliable or definitive. Do you really think King Ferdinand of Spain, a noble with a well documented lineage who expelled Jews and forced them to convert, was actually Jewish? Give me a break!

You're not helping your case. Whether or not there may have been positive exceptions among your edits doesn't change the obvious fact that you are here specifically to downplay Jewish contributions to history however you can. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:43, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And I'm sure that as a self-declared pro-gay, feminist, liberal Christian, who thinks nationalism is outdated you have no bias at all in your edits. Don't lie. You want to force your own perspective while denying anyone else the right to voice theirs.

The instructions on how to appeal your block have already been presented. You can call for another admin to review this block at any time. Why haven't you? Did you fail to read them, or do the remaining remnants of your conscience enable you to know that any admin with even a glimmer of humanity is going to understand that antisemitism is just vile ignorance that deserves to be flushed away? Come on, appeal the block, already! Ian.thomson (talk) 00:42, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Quite frankly I don't care. It's not exactly my life's dream to be a full time wiki editor. But I just want to ask out of curiosity, do you consider yourself a zionist?

If you don't care, then just go away. If you continue in this vein I'll remove your access to this talk page. Doug Weller talk 05:10, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
