Thanks for uploading Image:DSCN0669.JPG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags.

Nagaraj
[edit]What is the relationship between user:Netgir netgir/user:NETGIR NETGIR and yourself? They have already made inept and unsuccessful attempts to put up an article about this Nagaraja guy. If you want your article M.T.B. Nagaraj to stick, you will have to do more work on it:
- Establish his importance within the first two sentences: does in his early days in school he was naughty suggest a notable person to you?
- Learn to put a space after a full stop!

[edit]T.Mariappa
[edit]I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article T.Mariappa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:T.Mariappa. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - Peripitus (Talk) 11:44, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Bharat Gold Mines Limited
[edit]Hi Ganesha1,
I see you have started the article Bharat Gold Mines Limited. In it you wikilink to the term British twice. BThe wikipage British is a disambiguation page and should not generally be linked to in an article. I was going to change the links myself, but was unsure in the context whether to link to United Kingdom or British Raj. Could you take a look and make the edit? Or just let me know and I'll do it. Thanks --SiobhanHansa 10:54, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Welsh? No. English by birth, though I'd noramally say British. Now live in the USA. The name is a psuedonym I dreamed I was called once. I've always loved the name Siobhan. Very lyrical :-) --SiobhanHansa 19:31, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Dear dear little Ganesh's Uncle,
your stub on Gandhigiri is wonderful piece of writing, also speaks how hard working and deep thinker you are. You are also very swift. I am impressed but why you have omitted personal details. This world is so good that you will miss the affection if you are shy of socialising. Add your education and other details to your page. Now I understand how Wikipedia is expanding at this pace. Love to you and your loveable nephew who inspire you. You love him and and he inspires you.I aspire many more articles from this great team. Gandhiji and God bless you both.

Thanks Subzbharti

Elephants
[edit]Hi. I see you've added a few elephant articles. The one on Elephant Arjuna is currently proposed for deletion, and I've started a discussion on merging Mysore Dasara with Dasara. Do you think that what's been done for Kerala, a central article like Elephants of Kerala, would be useful in organising any other articles for Karnataka elephants?? --Mereda 12:53, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello! Do you have any sources for the definition and usage of this phobia. I would be interested to read them. Regards, (aeropagitica) 20:49, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Phobias
[edit]Please do not do this any more. Putting 'phobia' on the end of a word, and then writing an article about it is basically just making things up. Tom Harrison Talk 00:58, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Mr. Ganesha, dont talk like a fool, what do mean by saying that "those who say the miracle did'nt take place are brahmins and not shudras"? Bannanje Govindaacharya is a scholar of high standing
and unlike U for him truth is the only criteria for knowledge, the editing which I have I done is absolutely true and if U have guts prove it wrong, don't indulge in cheap politics and look down upon great scholars by labelling them as casteists
Re: Abuse Report
[edit]Hi user Nagarajachar has used very offencive and abusive language against me and my family in my talk page which is very rude and i am really upset about it, he has made personal attacks could you please take some action. Though he has not left his signature or time.Thanks--Ganesha1 08:52, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Next time, please report this type of incident to WP:PAIN, as any given admin may be away from their computer and this will delay the response, if one is warranted. (aeropagitica) 11:51, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Mr Ganesha please do no not simply delete an edit to the article without having any knowledge about it. The facts which I have been mentioning about kanakana-kindi is verified not by just 1 person, a lot of people have done research in this regard. No person has challenged these arguments of Bannanje Govindaacharya and the proofs are documented.
I need not write tons of bull-shit like U to wikipedia to prove myself great,U need not worry abt the millions of kannadigas as I am a proud kannadiga myself. I am proud that my 1 honest and true contribution is enough to shake false beliefs in people like U. I am not a fanatic like U who does enquire facts while posting articles, I am a proud follower of kanakadasa not because of some incident which has not occured but because of his teachings and contribution to Madhva school of thought.
- In regards to the message you left on User:Nagarajachar's talk page, please do not call people religious fantatics or vandals. Try to comment on content and not on the contributors. I understand that he has been uncivil to you in the past, but our no personal attacks rule is not negotiable. Thanks. Shell babelfish 17:40, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi Ganesha, I found that you have removed an image of Mosque from Mysore article. I checked the licensing info on that image, and it looked fine. Is there any particular reason why you removed that? Thank you - KNM Talk - Contribs 00:10, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
@Ganesha
[edit]yes now I can understand how many tons of nonsense U have written in this encyclopedia, telling that kanakadasa had nothing to do with madhva is the height of foolishness and indeed it is not surprising that U think like that. 1st learn to get the facts right before writing anything.
Now I know after all why U are resisting the changes in the article, u are a great 'socialist' isn't it? In Ur article on basavaraja devaru U have claimed because of his agitations government has taken over Udupi Krishna temple. This is far from the truth as usual u have no idea about it, so each of contributions is nonsense in one way or the other.
Responding to personal attacks
[edit]Do not respond to personal attacks with further personal attacks. Ignore the attacks or only bring them up in the appropriate venues. —Centrx→talk • 17:51, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Mimicry Dayananad
[edit]Speedy deletion of Mimicry Dayananad
[edit]A tag has been placed on Mimicry Dayananad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pascal.Tesson 16:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Hadi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Please be careful not to add inappropriate external links to articles, thanks
[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Hyderabad State. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Gwernol 13:08, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding links to unrelated poems
[edit]Please stop leaving links to unrelated poems on Wikipedia articles. A general poem about Wales is not relevant to an article about the Welsh language. Neither is it a notable poem out of all the thousands which have been written in and about the language. It is also a conflict of interest since it is apparently a poem you wrote yourself. The Wednesday Island (talk) 16:09, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- (If it is a poem you wrote yourself, as friendly advice I would suggest you try to stay away from rhymed arrhythmic couplets: they are fatally easy to write and therefore fatally easy to do badly (and because of this were the favourite form used by William McGonagall, which means they remind many readers uncomfortably of his work). Try a more formal pattern such as a sonnet or villanelle, or alternatively try free verse.) The Wednesday Island (talk) 18:21, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Ganesha1! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. Hi Ganesha1! I've declined the speedy deletion nomination mentioned above, but because the article didn't have any sources, I've put a notice on the page that it will need some or it will, unfortunately, have to be deleted in about a week's time. I'll help out if I get the chance, but you can remove that notice if you can add a quick reliable reference or two - it looks like there are a lot around, but I'm caught up in a project at the moment, so I can't evaluate them myself. But if you need any help, just let me know - I'll be glad to assist if I can. - Bilby (talk) 08:06, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

Edit Summaries
[edit] Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.

Referencing
[edit]I am surprised that I am giving a summary template message to someone who has been editing WP for so long (almost 7 years!). You also seem to create articles with bare URLs for references, such as Karibasavaiah. If your online sources are moved, as often happens, then without details like: title, author, publisher, ISBN, access date etc, it might be very difficult to locate them again. Even just a title makes them much easier to locate again.
Please see Wikipedia:Citations quick reference and Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners (see template below too). There are many tools or utilities that make adding such important details a simple cut and paste or even drag and drop operation. Even try the "Cite" button that should be on the editing tool bar above the editing window. (see picture at right) - 220 of Borg 20:19, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

March 2015
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Kuruba, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.
- The version of the article that you restored is clearly inappropriate when considered in relation to Wikipedia's policies. You even tacitly acknowledged this by reinstating the numerous maintenance tags. This is disruptive: if there are any particular bits within that version which you feel might justifiably be reinstated then please discuss them on the article talk page first. Thanks. Sitush (talk) 12:47, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Kuruba shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Sitush (talk) 14:18, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
- What is it that you do not understand about my earlier note in this section? You should not keep reverting simply because you do not like something. - Sitush (talk) 14:19, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
