Personality query
Hi. Mike Christie, who is overseeing our outreach to North American university students, has asked at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Medicine#Value_of_student_edits for an evaluation of some student contributions to articles on NPD, personality and attitude articles. I'm pointing you to it in case it interests you. That N. American educational program consumes a lot of the Wikimedia Foundation's time and money, so a good assessment of its results is vital. No pressure: I'm just spreading the word. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 00:19, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
- I think it's a great idea and I'd love it if more universities supported this kind of enterprise rather than endlessly complaining about students using Wikipedia, etc. However, I really don't feel qualified to comment on those contributions. Sorry. FiachraByrne (talk) 01:30, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
- No worries. I'm in the same boat. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 01:35, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Re: Clarification
I was describing Zeromus1. And the R/I orbit of articles have been plagued with puppets. After dealing for two plus years now with a few of the obsessively zealous bad actors who pluck the same chords and slide right into the same well rehearsed routines, over and over again, they've become easier to detect beneath the camouflage. Professor marginalia (talk) 05:26, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification Professor. Once again, your writing is wonderful! FiachraByrne (talk) 07:18, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

A pie for you!
Thanks for contributing to the Colombian discussion. I went ahead and moved the page with the dates included as you suggested. I started the move request a while ago and I was a little worried that no one would join the discussion for months. As of now, I doubt any people will join the discussion any time soon. I think our discussion already went pretty in depth into the naming issue. Again, thanks for helping out! FutureTrillionaire (talk) 01:31, 27 October 2012 (UTC) |
- You're welcome. I've fixed a few page redirects but you should really start ploughing through this lot [1]

Wiki Medicine
Hi
I'm contacting you because, as a participant at Wikiproject Medicine, you may be interested in a new multinational non-profit organization we're forming at m:Wikimedia Medicine. Even if you don't want to be actively involved, any ideas you may have about our structure and aims would be very welcome on the project's talk page.
Our purpose is to help improve the range and quality of free online medical content, and we'll be working with like-minded organizations, such as the World Health Organization, professional and scholarly societies, medical schools, governments and NGOs - including Translators Without Borders.
Hope to see you there! --Anthonyhcole (talk) 07:54, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bethlem Royal Hospital, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Monro (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Phineas Gage
I've been meaning to thank you for your comments on Phineas Gage. I've been distracted lately so haven't had a chance to act on them. When I get to that I'd like to call on you again to discuss specific points if that's OK. EEng (talk) 21:46, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- That's OK - I've been pretty busy myself. The Gage article is excellent; encyclopedic, of course, but a really pleasurable read. And yes if think it would be any help I'd be happy to discuss any specific points you have in mind. FiachraByrne (talk) 21:50, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
