Great PowerHey Felipe, remember me. Have you been able to find any sources that says Brazil or India are great powers? Deavenger (talk) 03:38, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Delivered by SoxBot (talk) at 13:02, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply] I will be happy to give the article a review. I'll give it a first pass tomorrow before I head out of town for the weekend. One thing that does immediately jump out is that you've probably over-cited the article. For instance, there is no need to use four citations for a statement as simple as "The BOC's President, Carlos Arthur Nuzman, and then mayor of Rio de Janeiro, César Maia, approved the choice, making Rio de Janeiro the Brazilian postulant city to host the 2016 Summer Olympics and Paralympics." That isn't a criteria against a GA nom, so I won't worry about it in a review, but I do find that all of the citation numbers detract from the readability a little. Anyway, I'll mark myself as reviewing, and will have my thoughts for you tomorrow. Cheers, Resolute 21:47, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! As far as a FA nom goes, I'd say to hold off until after the host city is selected. There may well be concern about the stability of this article given how close the vote is. Personally, I would pare down the citations a bit as well. As mentioned above, three or four citations for a simple statement breaks the text and hampers readability. That would be an issue for some reviewiers at FAC. Tony1 has several good self use guides for prose quality, and a peer review might be of assistance - though in my experience good PRs are hard to find. The biggest challenge you will face is the technical quality of the prose, and given that is one of my weaknesses, I can't help you much there. Good luck! Resolute 00:28, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the on-going effort to improve articles related to the Olympic Games it's always encouraging to see another article attain Good status. Keep up the good work. Your help in translating the references is needed, and due to recent events, these articles are very important. Thanks much! --Funandtrvl (talk) 16:23, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply] License tagging for File:Felipe Menegaz.PNGThanks for uploading File:Felipe Menegaz.PNG. ArgentinaYes, 100,000 cases. Did you revert it? --190.50.109.66 (talk) 20:53, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply] RequestHi Felipe! I would like your opinion on two articles that I am currently watching: Saint Peter and Saint Paul Archipelago and Pedro II. On the first, there is a user who is insisting in renaming the article to Saint Peter and Saint Paul rocks, even though the official sources (i.e. the Brazilian Government and the Brazilian Navy) name it an archipelago (note: after 1998 when it started to be permanently occupied the Brazilian Government changed the name from "Penedos de São Pedro e São Paulo" to "Arquipélago de São Pedro e São Paulo"). The second article has to do mainly with the infobox picture of Emperor Pedro II. The User:Lecen has literally taken ownership of the article (he has made great improvements though), and won't allow anyone to change it. Regarding the picture, it is a low quality image depicting the Emperor in normal civilian clothing. There are many pictures of Pedro II in regalia or uniform, in higher quality, and more suitable for a Monarch. Please let me know what you think, and if possible leave an opinion at the articles' talk pages. Thanks, Felipe! Limongi (talk) 00:14, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One of those citations that was added is causing a cite error. Could you please go back and fill out the full source information for the reference tag <ref name="IOC WG 2"/>? Thanks. 75.69.0.58 (talk) 16:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
