Tomb Raider errors

You added a table of data under "crew" that contains a bad expr (link instead of number in the values) leading to an error on this page. Also, it seems some of the references may be incorrect, as they refer to the movie Shrek. Can you have a look and fix this? The error shouldn't be too hard to find as it is in big bold red letters :). 83.128.144.72 (talk) 07:37, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

sorry, forgot to add the link to the page — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.128.144.72 (talk) 07:37, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Refactoring talk page comments

Please stop altering the indentation of my comments at Talk:List of highest-grossing animated films. The indentation dictates who I am replying to and since it is my comment it is my decision as to who I am replying to per WP:THREAD and WP:INDENT. Editing another editor's comment is also a violation of WP:TPO so please don't do it. Betty Logan (talk) 12:28, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Animation records. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Your draft article, Draft:The Battle for Mewni

Hello, Fanoflionking. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "The Battle for Mewni".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Hi. I like your idea of adding the link to various pages, however, I'm not sure adding it to every single page is necessarily appropriate in this case. I've added it to the Scooby-Doo template (which appears on every page), let me know if that's of concern and I'm happy to discuss further. User pages

Hi, I noticed you have an unusual way of utilizing your user pages. For example, I have no idea why you have over 100 empty archived talk pages, or why your sandbox redirects to a draft. I see you're now using your talk page to develop tables of some sort (the kind of thing one would typically use a sandbox for). You do realize you can create additional sandboxes (if and as you need them I wouldn't suggest creating over 100 empty sandboxes). Just start with User:Fanoflionking/sandbox 1, then when you need it, create User:Fanoflionking/sandbox 2. You can also create other user sub-pages, as you need them, for specific purposes; eg: User:Fanoflionking List of pages I have contributed to. Or something generic like; User:Fanoflionking Notes to list article ideas, wikitext and markup or links to Wikipedia help pages you find useful, for example. I'm also not sure why you collapse everything, but again... it's your page. Anyway, I hope you find these suggestions useful. You can go to Wikipedia:User pages for more information, or ask the help desk if you have questions or need assistance. Happy editing - wolf 16:49, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

HI! Before doing any major edit like the one you did on List of highest-grossing animated films, please bring it up on the Talk page and make a case as to why you think we should extend that list, we will have others give their opinion on that and depending on the result, then you can do that edit or not. thanks! The Grand Tour

Please stop splitting of the list of episodes from The Grand Tour. You were told that List of The Grand Tour (TV series) episodes was not the correct location for the LoE page and that your draft had referencing issues that needed to be fixt yet you still moved the draft to the wrong location AND without the required attribution that has been discussed. Splits need to be done properly. You've also made errors at the main series article. PLease leave this alone until you can do it properly. --AussieLegend () 11:46, 10 January 2019 (UTC)

Time wasting

Today you created Draft:Fanoflionking/Archive 231, Draft:Fanoflionking/Archive 232 and Draft:Fanoflionking/Archive 233 with {{db-author}}. That was utterly pointless - a waste of time for you and a waste of time for the admin deleting them. Can you offer any explanation?

Most expensive animated films page

I edited the links and added some new titles, first of all, you have to rename the title: "List of most expensive animated films", second, we have to decide on what is the lowest budget we can add, I say we put the limit somewhere at $140-$150m, because there are many animated films that have big budget that we may not have heard of, it doesn't matter if we have a top 50 or top 30, 25. I will find and add some new titles later. DCF94 (talk) 10:19, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

How do we change tilte?

Shaun the Sheep Movie

I have reverted your edit and ask that you take the issue to the talk page. First, the Variety cited source DOES NOT say $104 million. The article gives a vague, imprecise approximation, saying, "passed Sept. 14 the milestone $100 million global B.O. mark" without giving an actual number or where this claim came from, whereas Box Office Mojo, which uses studio-supplied figures and is WP:FILM standard, gives a precise figure. Frankly, this edit by an anon IP on Sept. 15 [1] feels promotional in nature. I have returned the figure to the long-stable version that was there for the bulk of this article's existence. If you wish to change that status quo, you need to discuss it on the talk page rather than edit-war. --Tenebrae (talk) 17:24, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

A page you started (List of Secret Squirrel episodes) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating List of Secret Squirrel episodes.

User:Alsee while reveiwing this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:

NewPagePatrol reviewed. It looks like a reasonable split from the main article. I added two refs at the bottom that appear to cover most of the content, but you might want to ref the individual episodes. Based on a very superficial scan, the tvguide ref appears to cover 1-13, 15-23, 25-26. I didn't really look into why 14 and 24 seem to be missing, and I didn't look at the 1993 episodes.

List of Disney theatrical animated features - highest grossing films

Hello, Fanoflionking. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:16, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Various

Hi there, I am an administrator on the English Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a community project. This means that communication is often necessary with other editors, particularly because when there is a difference of opinion about the shape of an article, consensus determines which version will remain. If you are not willing to discuss your challenged edits with other users, that is ultimately going to be problematic. For instance here you created an episode list, but it was converted to a redirect. I don't see that you made any effort to discuss this issue on the article's talk page, so I'm unclear why several months later here you restored the article without consensus to do so.

Edits like these tend to look like you are not here to participate in the community aspect of this project. That's ultimately up to you, but if you routinely make changes without consensus to do so, and fail to acknowledge notices and warnings people have delivered to you, you may wind up with your editing privileges interrupted, which would be unfortunate. I strongly recommend that you start engaging with other editors. Note also that while you are free to remove notices from your talk page, if you do so, it's considered proof that you've read and understood the notice. Thank you. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for gross competency concerns. Issues pertaining to your competency were first raised to me on my talk page here. Attempts to communicate with you have been met with either incoherent deletions like this or totally incoherent responses like this. Presently, I have no idea whether you speak English adequately to contribute constructively, and based on the totally fabricated content I find at List of highest grossing actors, I have no choice but to block your ability to edit until you can communicate effectively in English. I will also be deleting most of your contributions on the basis that they are largely incompetent..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:05, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but that just confirms that your English is not good enough for editing an English language encyclopedia. I suggest you work on the Wikipedia in your native language, and maybe try again here sometime in the future when your English has improved. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:03, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblocked

I have unblocked your account. Your English proficiency is a major concern, in part because your lack of communication on your talk page led me to believe you were ignoring my questions, but I do see that you attempted (somewhat) to explain yourself at Talk:List of highest grossing actors. However, PrimeHunter doesn't consider that article to be an outright hoax, so my deletion and block was probably premature. I apologise for that. That said, you can't fabricate financial figures or use original research to arrive at your own magical figures. Further, if you are copying data from a singular source and presenting that data in the exact same way, it is possible that you could be engaging in a copyright violation. I'm unclear why we need a Wikipedia article that would say the exact same thing as what The Numbers says. Anyway, you need to work on your communication skills. WikiCup 2020 May newsletter

The second round of the 2020 WikiCup has now finished. It was a high-scoring round and contestants needed 75 points to advance to round 3. There were some very impressive efforts in round 2, with the top ten contestants all scoring more than 500 points. A large number of the points came from the 12 featured articles and the 186 good articles achieved in total by contestants, and the 355 good article reviews they performed; the GAN backlog drive and the stay-at-home imperative during the COVID-19 pandemic may have been partially responsible for these impressive figures.

Our top scorers in round 2 were:

  • New York (state) Epicgenius, with 2333 points from one featured article, forty-five good articles, fourteen DYKs and plenty of bonus points
  • England Gog the Mild, with 1784 points from three featured articles, eight good articles, a substantial number of featured article and good article reviews and lots of bonus points
  • Botswana The Rambling Man, with 1262 points from two featured articles, eight good articles and a hundred good article reviews
  • Somerset Harrias, with 1141 points from two featured articles, three featured lists, ten good articles, nine DYKs and a substantial number of featured article and good article reviews
  • England Lee Vilenski with 869 points, Gondor Hog Farm with 801, Venezuela Kingsif with 719, Cascadia (independence movement) SounderBruce with 710, United States Dunkleosteus77 with 608 and Mexico MX with 515.

The rules for featured article reviews have been adjusted; reviews may cover three aspects of the article, content, images and sources, and contestants may receive points for each of these three types of review. Please also remember the requirement to mention the WikiCup when undertaking an FAR for which you intend to claim points. Remember also that DYKs cannot be claimed until they have appeared on the main page. As we enter the third round, any content promoted after the end of round 2 but before the start of round 3 can be claimed now, and anything you forgot to claim in round 2 cannot! Remember too, that you must claim your points within 14 days of "earning" them. When doing GARs, please make sure that you check that all the GA criteria are fully met.

If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article nominations, a featured process, or anything else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed (remember to remove your listing when no longer required). Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Hello, Fanoflionking. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Worldwide game show winnings records".

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 08:25, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
