User:Kikkokalabud actually has a pretty good justification: the articles were merged as a result of this AFD, and Let's Dance (Live) is a redirect to Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 5). I performed the merge as a result of that AFD.

Can you explain your objection to the merge in detail?—Kww(talk) 20:04, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greece in ESC 2009 Promotion

[edit]

We seem to be having a mis-understanding. I can see where you are coming from, but it was a comment on the performer/entry. The promotion section is for appearances by the performer related to contest promotion, and not just comments about the performer from other shows he is not on. Almost every country has a preview show. Almost every country will also comment on the performer/entry, and will review past participation's if there are any. Like I said in the edit summary, the section is for actual appearances related to promotion of the entry, and not a comment (however in depth it is) about it. If you were to add in every comment from every show, you could make a whole article out of it. Greekboy (talk) 23:33, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

I reverted your change to this article because I couldn't see why having two tables for one list made sense - but it's possible it does. If necessary, could you revert me (i.e. redo your change), but leave an edit summary explaining your change?

Sourcing

[edit]

Please make sure that you always add a source when adding or changing information. Edits like this should not be made unless you add a reference somewhere in the article backing it up. I suggest you read Wikipedia:Verifiability: the truth is less important than being able to verify the information. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 19:11, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RfC on reliable sources for Eurovision articles

[edit]

A second RfC has been started on sourcing for Eurovision articles, you can view it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#RfC on reliable sources for Eurovision articles. This RfC is critical as it will help determine how current and future Eurovision articles are sourced, and as much participation as possible is needed for a consensus to develop. You are being notified as you are listed as an active user of Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision, and hence the results of this RfC could have a large impact on the articles you edit. Straw poll on reliable sources for Eurovision articles

[edit]

The second RfC on sourcing for Eurovision articles has now being running for several weeks, you can view it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#RfC on reliable sources for Eurovision articles. In order to help gauge the spread of opinion and draw conclusions from this discussion a straw poll has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#Straw poll. All project members are encouraged to read the RfC thoroughly and then cast their votes as they see fit. Rationales are still encouraged in the main discussion area above the poll, and participants can add appropriate new sources or options to the poll as they wish. AfD nomination of Aleksandra Pileva

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Aleksandra Pileva. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aleksandra Pileva. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Evilperson 20! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Luiz Ejlli - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Unsupported information

[edit]

None of the position changes you made in this edit agree with the sources in the article. Do not change positions if you cannot provide a source.—Kww(talk) 16:46, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a shame that you deleted the above notice (demonstrating that you had read it) and then immediately did it again. The next time you add a position to an article that is not supported by the sources in that article, you will be blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 15:28, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There's a source for every column in the discography: look at the column headers. The Canadian albums chart was sourced only to http://www.allmusic.com/artist/nelly-furtado-mn0000861687/awards. I'm sorry I assumed that you were ignoring me on purpose and did not realize that there were sources in the discography article as well. When you add a figure to a discography, you need to make sure that it is in the source for the column, or you can add a source. Note that that is what I had to do here and here to keep the article from containing unsourced information.—Kww(talk) 18:04, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on Sonce i Mesečina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
