License tagging for File:Nica Noelle Sinn Sage.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Nica Noelle Sinn Sage.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:06, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Attack page

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 18:15, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

What are you talking about? Erpert Who is this guy? | Wanna talk about it? 19:23, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
That's the standard template notification when a page is nominated for speedy deletion as an overt violation of WP:BLP. I don't recall the page name (it's already been speedied) but it was a redirect identifying a named person as a porn performer, based only on an unverifiable claim at IMDB. Those generally get deleted on sight. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 21:34, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
That is definitely not the standard notification template. The template you used was warning me about creating attack pages, which I have never done (and never will do). Maybe you should read WP:UTM more thoroughly. Erpert Who is this guy? | Wanna talk about it? 05:38, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Nica Noelle Sinn Sage.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Nica Noelle Sinn Sage.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please remove the tag.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 21:50, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

A couple things

Thanks for the articles that you've been creating! I just wanted to take a minute to point out a couple things though.

  1. WP:UNLINKDATES - Basically, don't wikilink dates (birth dates, etc) just because they're dates.
  2. WP:RS/IMDB - IMDb is not considered a reliable source for biographical info. Birth dates and other personal info should not be sourced to IMDb.

Thanks again, Dismas|(talk) 05:06, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Notability of a Wikipedia Biography

Mr. Erpert, I am calm as can be, and if that doesn't come across in my writing, then I guess you aren't used to writers responding to you who have the capability of asserting themselves by using it as I do. Everything I said is in fact notable, whether you are talking about notability from a Wiki standpoint, or the kind of notability that is discussed in any English dictionary. Allow me to ask you this Erpert, do you like to post topics out here in an effort to get people to respond so then you can use this venue to argue about how right you are? Because that is the feeling I am getting from your comments, which means my continuing to comment will just be a waste of my time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iammissannette (talkcontribs) 20:15, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Don't open frivolous sockpuppet investigations to harass editors you disagree with!

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

A kitten for you!

Thank you for your kind welcome to Wikipedia. Your chivalrous behavior clearly proves your virtues as a gentleman. If only more users demonstrated your tact, generosity, and discretion, this site would be greatly improved. I welcome the day when I can nominate you at RFA, with the assurance that the entirety of your conduct in this matter will significantly increase your chances of success.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Girls Kissing Girls 1: Young Lesbians in Love requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ~Excesses~ (talk) 14:53, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

The article Girls Kissing Girls 1: Young Lesbians in Love has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable sources indicating that this film meets WP:NFILM.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
