[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:TNGcards.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ccwaters 17:31, 18 February 2007 (UTC) This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. Having all those logos in KL SENTRAL

[edit]

I see you have added logos into the routes for KL transport, especially in the routes for KL Sentral. It is unnecessary. It has made the route becoming expanded and therefore impinge on the text of the article. If one is to view from a smaller computer, one will not be able to read the text. Please revert, or I will revert it for you if you dont do so. Thank you. --Zack2007 (talk) 03:18, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

KL-RTS templates

[edit]

Use of templates like {{KL-RTS-KEL}} within article text is prohibited by WP:TMP: Templates should not masquerade as article content in the main article namespace; instead, place the text directly into the article. Please stop inserting them into articles, and remove the ones you have already placed. Jpatokal (talk) 15:31, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Take note this templates, along with many more in Category:KL-RTS templates, may be nominated for deletion on Wikipedia:Templates for deletion as per Jpatokal's reasoning above, which I concur with. I see very little use for them aside bolding them and giving them colours while complicating things for editors. No other rail transport articles I've seen uses templates for this purpose. - Two hundred percent (talk) 15:08, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Templat:Rmri. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Template:RoutemapRouteIcon. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Template:RoutemapRouteIcon – you might like to discuss new information at [[Talk:Template:RoutemapRouteIcon|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 13:17, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Creating empty station articles

[edit]

Hi there Sirap bandung,

Thanks for work creating station articles, but unfortunately I've had to request that several of them be speedily deleted under criteria A3 because they contain no content other than links. In order to stop this happening again, all you need to do is make sure than when you create a new stub it contains a bit of information about the topic, even if this is just the basics, like an infobox and a few sentences outlining the subject. I also highly recommended that you include a few references. Once you've fixed these things, feel free to create the articles again! If you want any more help, just ask me on my talkpage or at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users to ask questions.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Awana Skyway, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://resortsworldgenting.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-groovy-goodbye-to-awana-skyway.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. I am confused. Why are the "simple" line numbers (1, 2, 3 … 7) not the same as the numbers in the "long" line names?

  • 1 ↔ LRT-1
  • 2 ↔ LRT-2
  • 3 ↔ MRT-3
  • 4 ⇎ MRT-7
  • 5 ⇎ no#
  • 6 ⇎ LRT-2

I have no idea on that. This Template:Manila Rail Transit color might be categorised by User using sequence number. The real and correct one is the long line name. LRT Line 1 or LRT-1. -twoscore- (talk) 12:45, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Go KL City Bus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.wonderfulmalaysia.com/tips/gokl-free-city-bus-service.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:51, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, S-line/KTM Intercity left/Ekspres Selatan. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Template:S-line/KTM Intercity left/Ekspres Selatan. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Template:S-line/KTM Intercity left/Ekspres Selatan. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Template:S-line/KTM Intercity left/Ekspres Selatan|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Cahk (talk) 07:19, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
