October 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Notice

The article Arzu Aliyeva has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ~~ OxonAlex - talk 16:14, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Arzu Aliyeva moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Arzu Aliyeva, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello @Elshad Iman (Elşad İman), you recently reverted an entire edit session I made on the Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan page without providing any explanation. Would you care to explain why you did that? Thank you. werewolf (talk) 18:51, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi werewolf, I did not return all of the edits you made, the part that you deleted on the Azerbaijan Pomegranate badge, and I think that part of the article should remain. Do you think you can create a section of Azerbaijani pomegranate badges as a separate article?--Elshad Iman (Elşad İman) (talk) 19:56, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the badge itself merits a separate article, it doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability standards as far as I can tell. Does it have a separate article on the Azerbaijani Wiki? Also, I don't think having such extensive coverage of the badge is warranted as it has limited relevance to the rest of the topic. Why do you think that information should remain? werewolf (talk) 20:23, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
For example, I think that information should remain in Azeri and English version because the name of the pomegranate badge is even written in the Virtual International Authority File.--Elshad Iman (Elşad İman) (talk) 20:47, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Elshad Iman (Elşad İman), I'm not very familiar with VIAF so I'm not sure what you mean to say. I'm looking at the article now and the badge section, in its original form as you restored it, has five sub-sections and is essentially just as long, if not longer, than the rest of the article. Not only do I find it inappropriate for the badge to have so much more coverage when the article isn't about it at all, but I think most of that detail is irrelevant to the topic of the article. As a compromise, would you be able to condense the material into one succinct paragraph, so that it doesn't take away too much from the rest of the article? werewolf (talk) 14:55, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi werewolf, I want to remind you that this medal is a founded by the Association, so it can be considered normal to post an article. On the other hand, I agree that the Association article itself is relatively small, and I will make major changes to the Association article in the near future, taking into account your will. Thank you for your attention.--Elshad Iman (Elşad İman) (talk) 06:53, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Elshad Iman (Elşad İman) I don't get the impression that we are reaching any kind of compromise here, and I really don't think the article requires so much information about the badge, which is only peripherally relevant to the topic at hand. I will put this up for a third opinion and we shall see what happens. werewolf (talk) 08:48, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Elshad Iman (Elşad İman), did you see the third opinion? werewolf (talk) 00:13, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AfDs[edit]

Hi,

While creating AfD nominations, please don't put any indentation on the nomination statement. There are a couple of bots and scripts and other automated tools that parse these AfDs, such as User:SDZeroBot/AfD sorting. These tools aren't accurately parsing the AfDs started by you because of the unconventional formatting. I would highly recommend use of Twinkle to create AfDs, using which you can start AfDs much more easily from article itself - as opposed to having to edit 3 different pages. Thanks, SD0001 (talk) 17:33, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Awards articles[edit]

Hello, If I can help you in any way to understand the notability guidelines for individual articles I would be happy to. I want your time here to be productive and enjoyable. The best the individual articles can hope for is being sent to Drafts for independent sourcing and improvement. The individual articles for awards are not notable alone, as I suggested in the deletion discussion, you may wish to consider creating an article about the Military Awards of the Republic of Azerbaijan or List of Military Awards of the Republic of Azerbaijan (the latter is probably a better option).   // Timothy :: talk  05:17, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:International Baccalaureate schools in Azerbaijan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Notice

The article Ilham Nazarov has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article needs to be written from a neutral point of view. Kindly read WP:NPOV for more information. Kindly rewrite the article and stop promoting this fellow, or it goes to speedy deletion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edit warring and unprofessional behaviour[edit]

Hello Elshad Iman, you recently reverted an edit made on the Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan page. I need to remind you that there is no ownership of articles on Wikipedia, and thus this page is not "your page", even if you are the one who created it. Additionally, you cannot simply remove a maintenance template that another editor has added to a page, certainly not without providing a good enough reason. Please cease this unprofessional behaviour and try to engage other editors in a civilized discussion instead. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 04:57, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
