Well it has just proved inaccurate very often. Just a suggestion. Today I've created some Croatian castle stubs and just added some images to Bontioli Reserve. I've begun creating African national park boxes by country. Some of them can be expanded fully I;m sure. COuldn't find much on Ivory Coast national parks thoguh ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 17:54, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I;ve just added some images to Burkina geo and department articles. It makes a huge difference to have images of thes eplaces -it sort of brings them to life. Perhaps we could have a look and make some flickr agreements ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 19:04, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Good work on, its surprising how there is info available for places in Malawi. I always try to look at it as if you are in the country concerned. If you see a few stubs only on place sin the entire country wikipedia looks pathetic, I long for the day when Africa gets more access to the Internet and we start to see that actually there is a whole world in Africa which is not on here, evne in basic form and we knowledge get onto the web for the first time. Even by western standards the Internet is really in its infancy -how many times has the INternet increased in size and profit annually!! I still remain optimistic we'll get access to it gradually. Its just ridiculously uneven. The national highways and media stations are missing from most of these places, now how many articles to we have on American highways or turnoikes and radio stations huh? ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 20:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I wonder if Limbe, Malawi could be expanded? ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 21:07, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
You didn't change the Bam province name in the article! ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 23:41, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Also is it the central est or central nord?? The inof box and categories say different ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 23:44, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
No worries, I usually end up doing about five edit previews until I get it right. I think I;ve done the first three. I'm considering spitting the cities by province like Category:Cities, towns and villages in Boulkiemdé Province. Let me know what you think. ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 23:48, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Its getting better. Have a look at this. Its kind of like a Burkina Faso encyclopedia of biogrpahies -tons of politicians in there. The number of sities I've come across seems to be on the rise. That site mentions some of the villages. Eventually I hope this will be in detail. There are some politicians missing I think ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 00:13, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

RE:2002 - FAC?
No, i don't think the article is even cosniderably ready for FAC. It would be nice if you expanded the section about the geography of the quake, using new references about the "hidden" Abdarreh plate and its movement. Thanks, --Meldshal42 (talk) 01:03, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm. i think the biggest problem in the article is references. I am busy right now, juggling Scattered disc, Mount Baker, king Arthur, and this article all trying to reach FAC. It is very mind-boggling, so at the moment I'm going to focus on scattered disc which has been my aim for quite a while now. I'm getting tired! <sigh of relief> :) --Meldshal42 (talk) 01:51, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Iranian earthquakes
Hi. Don't take my constructive criticism the wrong way, I just want to see the best possible article written for it and I don't think the article has completely filled its potential yet.... When I meant paper sources or documents I meant things likethis, which is shown here for the 2003 earthquake which gives statistics and information on aid reaching the region in the form of a chart or table with the funds sent from relative organizations. my feeling is that you would need to examine the international reponse from organizations further and it is indeed possible to do so. Also I;ve found this for the 2003 earthquake which has a fair bit of info and also an image of the disaster. I would suggest that you develop an earthquake which has the maximum amount of information available. there seems to be less info available on the 2002 quake than the latest ones I agree. My feeling would be do develop the 2003 Bam earthquake as there is stacks of stuff available on it. I fyou choose to do so, I would be willing to work with you to devleop it fully into an FA. ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 10:08, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

WP:HAU, Status, and you!
As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 22:52, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Why are you going back today? Isn't two holidays enough? Um the forst week you were away I mostly concentrated on film particularly Italian westerns and created some actor stubs like Jose Calvo etc. The past few days I've been sorting out countries like Lebanon, Malaysia, South Africa and Pakistan. Cool., loving the Boigny article its a monster!!! Mangochi looks good, but I would do away with the "vaguely Swahili feel", "Arab-looking people " or reword it so it sounds more encyclopedic. Those words stand out as out of place. Have fun ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 13:54, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh I did finish nearly adding all the remaining places in Bhutan. I went through the list but also added many which weren't there from world gazetteer. Strangely there was no population figure for Paro, Bhutan but check out those images! I managed to find some info for places like Gedu. Suarez completely added every place in Armenia too so there are about 1000 odd articles for that country now ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 21:23, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Um, here are some things I wanted to point out for you and Blofeld:
The article needs references, I'd say about 70. That's gonna be tough.

LoC references
It seemed pointless to repeatedly include the full reference when we could just have "Chapter, Ivory Coast: A Country Study". I'll add accessdates back to the references. Regarding [2], the chapter/title designation does the exact same thing as title/work. I think I had previously used the chapter/title designation, which is why I decided to reformat that particular reference for consistency. Also, why did you remove my inline comments regarding source reliability? Both are self-published sources. They're valuable resources, but they don't meet WP:RS. 17:16, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have many articles to work on at the moment, so I've started translating M'ba. I'll probably take a break from that shortly and get back to some of my other projects. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 17:18, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

- It fails points 4 and 5. It involves claims about third parties (the election and its candidates are third parties) and it involves claims about events not directly related to the subject (the election is an event not directly related to the subject, I presume). Ivorian Barnstar
The Cote d'Ivoire Barnstar | ||
I Blofeld the Bald award this to you for your outstanding effort at writing a full and highly resourceful article on an Ivorian subject and for your hard work on Africa in general. This is exactly the sort of content that I rave about and try to get onto wikipedia in parts of the world which should quite rightly be equally covered as America and Europe. What this article does is address the subject almost as if it was written from an Ivorian perspective looking out at the world as "America and Europe=other" rather than Africa always being "the other", something very rare on wikipedia. This is exactly what wikipedia should be striving to do across the world, being written as if it was from that place rather than from America. I congratulate you for having been one of the first people to really achieve this on an African subject in such a detailed way. If only we could get all of the articles up to this standard. Congratulations! ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 12:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

It does need a major copyedit and restructure in places though thats my only complaint, I'll post some comments now. I can't really be more specific as it generally refers to all of the article ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 12:56, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
In that case it really is an amazing achievement considering it has all been translated. Well done! I'd get some good copy editors on the case with it, I'll make a note to help polish it when I can. My main concern is that it needs copyediting and to become more comprehensive and also in need of a restructure in places. I;d prefer the later sections to be before the death section as I feel it begins to explore the subject again which should be covered before this. I think it would be possible to merge the African politics section into the main body. Good luck on developing the others. In case you haven't noticed of late I've been developing some articles on Central America and trying to cover all of the municipalities. I am improving my knowledge of Spanish so I can help translate articles. ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 13:08, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
