About the Teahouse

[edit]

Hello DURYODANAN. I noticed you've asked a couple of questions at the Teahouse. As a Teahouse host, I welcome you to the Teahouse. The Teahouse was established as a friendly place where new editors can go to ask questions about editing Wikipedia, so to clear up any confusion they might have. The Teahouse should not be used to ask about anything other than Wikipedia and Wikipedia editing. General reference questions should be asked instead at the Reference Desk, where other Wikipedians can act as librarians and answer any question they can.

Also, while on any Wikipedia page, please do not use all caps, as this looks like you are shouting and is virtually never in accordance with Wikipedia's talk page guidelines. Thank you for your contributions, and welcome to Wikipedia. Regards, Mz7 (talk) 15:18, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:44, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

HI ! CAN YOU HELP ME TO JOIN IN THE TEAHOUSE. I WAS LONGING FOR IT. Winston churchil (talk) 13:10, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]

First you say you know me, then you say I'm lying when I say I know you. I never said that I know what your previous username was, because I don't. How could I know--you haven't told me. As for you being my friend, you don't need to have special qualities to be on friendly acquaintance with me :) I'll be your friend. Keep in mind, though, Wikipedia is not a social media site, and is not to be used as so.

If you are interested in changing your username, see Wikipedia:Changing username. I can help you with your userpage, if you like. What do you want done? ~ Anastasia (talk) 14:37, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
