Hello DILover1. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:DILover1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=DILover1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --- Possibly (talk) 16:59, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Firstly, thanks for edjtinf the article. You’ve helped me learn more about Wikipedia editing. I’m not being immediately financially compensated for writing this article. DILover1 (talk) 17:02, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a connection to the subject of the article? The article is extremely promotional.--- Possibly (talk) 17:08, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No. DILover1 (talk) 17:10, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What does "immediately financially compensated" mean-- you will be paid later?--- Possibly (talk) 17:12, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No. DILover1 (talk) 17:12, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No one is paying me for making this article. DILover1 (talk) 17:13, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I can only note generally that there have been several attempts to create this article, by four or five different accounts. One of the accounts was called AaronGolbin, so the attempts are presumably autobiographical.--- Possibly (talk) 17:20, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please let me know if you have any other questions. DILover1 (talk) 17:19, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please remove the text in the Wiki page that says that the author may be financial compensated, as I’m not being paid for making the article. DILover1 (talk) 17:20, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first attempt at making this article. DILover1 (talk) 17:21, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’ve never made this article before. DILover1 (talk) 17:21, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The claim that you have no connection to Golbin is pretty dubious, seeing as you also created Draft:DebateIsland, on one of Golbin's companies. Multiple editors have been pushing these subjects in the past months. --- Possibly (talk) 20:02, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a user of DebateIsland, like many others, so I want to make a Wiki about it.

I’m not paid and will not be paid to write these articles. I’m a DebateIsland user, like hundreds of thousands of others, and want to make a wiki about the company and Aaron Golbin, the founder of DebateIsland. DILover1 (talk) 04:05, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This not just a declined draft, it is a rejected draft. Do not move it to article space again. Meters (talk) 04:10, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't ever move an article out of draft into the encyclopedia when it has failed independent review, especially if you have written it yourself. The result will inevitably be deletion, as in this case. Deb (talk) 07:48, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
