ISO 3166-3: good job!

Good job on adding the Netherlands Antilles to the ISO 3166-3 article! You did a very good job! I'm thinking the next codes to be added are for Southern Sudan and any new codes for the current Sudan later in the year. - Thanks, Hoshie 03:19, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Hong Kong FA Cup

Hi! I have seen that you have moved some of the topics related to Hong Kong FA Cup. However, I do not quite agree with this change. Please refer to my comments on Talk:2008 Hong Kong FA Cup page. Checkiema (talk) 11:24, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

English UEL berths, 2011–12 season

Hi,

as of now, the English spots should be aligned as following:

  • If Stoke City win the FA Cup, then
    • the fifth-placed Premier League team and Stoke will enter the playoff round
    • Birmingham City will enter the third qualifying round.

That is the easiest case; it gets a lot more complicated if Manchester City win the cup:

  • If Manchester City win the FA Cup AND finish fourth in the league, then
    • the fifth-placed team will enter the playoff round
    • the higher-placed team of Stoke City and Birmingham City will enter the playoff round as well, with the lower team going to the third qualification round.
  • If Manchester City win the FA Cup AND finish fifth or lower in the league, then
    • Manchester City and the fifth-/sixth-placed team will enter the playoff round
    • Birmingham City will enter the third qualification round.

hth, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 17:10, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Meeeeh... these regularities are sometimes a little difficult to overview. After taking yet another and closer look at this year's paperwork, and assuming that UEFA won't change it for 2011–12, I think you are right regarding Birmingham and Stoke. Rocket science is easy compared to this... :D On a second thought, Birmingham should then get a TQ instead of a Q in the current Premier League table... and things will most likely not have cleaned up untill Tottenham and Man City have played each other in mid-May... *sigh* --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 17:35, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Russian Cup

Dear Chanheigeorge, because in final of the Russian Cup will play CSKA and Alania it's mean EXACTLY, that in Europe League will play Alania, because CSKA as runner-up of the Russian Premier League 2010 will play in the Champions League. Sincerly--Noel baran (talk) 23:54, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey, noticed the last edit you made in the play-off round stage saying that it's not certain which team will host the first and second leg. However, it has always been the case that the teams eliminated from the Champions League play the first leg at home, with the teams advancing from the second round of the Confed Cup host the second game at home (to give the advantage to teams that actually began the competition in the Confed Cup). With that said, I will add the two teams back to the table .. if I'm wrong feel free to revert the edit (just mention that I'm wrong :D). Take care. TonyStarks (talk) 10:48, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Any idea what this is about?

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on North East Community Development Council requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Status and Advice

Consider merging these into a page for them all, or to merge the councils into the districts. Remember that you will in any case need references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. The previous decisions about governmental councils of this size has usually been to delete, sometimes to merge. See WP:LOCAL DGG ( talk ) 16:53, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Community Development Councils

I agree with DGG that these probably need merging. North East Community Development Council and North West Community Development Council in particular provide no addition information that isn't in Community Development Council so there's no reason for them to have stand-alone articles. Why the other two do have more content this could easily be merged given how little there is. While in time they may, with the addition of sourced information, grow to a size that warrants their own article they don't at the moment. Dpmuk (talk) 21:19, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Luis Garcia

Hey can you explain to me what you are planning on doing with the content of Luis Garcia. It kinda looks like you just blanked it. Would a page move not have been more appropriate? I'm not saying you are doing anything wrong, just that I find it confusing. Metal lunchbox (talk) 08:32, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

You know what, forget about it, this is too confusing. You probably know what you are doing, good luck. Metal lunchbox (talk) 08:36, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

Offical versus unoffical sources for match reports

Consensus has been reached that forcing the use of 'official' sources, such as club websites and the websites of UEFA and FIFA for match reports is not acceptable. The source I used is reliable and has comparable coverage, there is no reason to replace it, so please don't. If you want to use the 'official' source yourself, you may still do so if you are the first one to work on an entry.

Please see this thread on Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard and this WikiProject Football post for details.

Touré Kunda Footpro

Hi Chanheigeorge, I just wanted to let you know that I took a look at your recently created article Touré Kunda Footpro-- However, I noticed there are some holes that may need filling: the article does not contain in-line citations, and so doesn't follow Wikipedia style guidelines. Have a good day!Amy Z (talk) 20:38, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

2012 AFC Cup

How strange how they picked the Syrian champions? I'll put this into their season article but find it rather odd how they came to this decision. Druryfire (talk) 20:00, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi Chanheigeorge, do you have any idea of what is happening with the Syrian League? The teams were split into two groups and today they are playing playoffs again between the teams placed 4th and 5th in each group. Do you understand why? Druryfire (talk) 14:51, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Your correct with regards to the playoffs. Initally, I had one of the tables wrong for Group A, so I couldn't understand why they had a play off but I've since amended the article and it makes sense why. Thanks for your input. Druryfire (talk) 19:30, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

RE: ISO 3166-2 Newsletter II-3

I tried to follow your standardized article layout. There is one country that I would like you to take a look at if you are so inclined. Monaco (MC) has a new subdivision list and some of the subdivisions do not look like typical ones. A seaport, garden, chapel, and train station (La Gare). 2013 AFC Champions League

Hello, maybe it's an idea to create a 2013 AFC Champions League page? The 2011–12 Hazfi Cup for instance finishes in February and we will get our first team? Maybe something to look at? When should we write the article? I don't want to jump to quick before references can be fully put up. Druryfire (talk) 12:56, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Happy new year to you aswell. I will look into creating the articles maybe once we have our first team in the list. So early Feb will do us. Druryfire (talk) 15:19, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
