UFC web site is a little late as normal, you can changed the content but put a hidden text of the source in the article or you can just wait for tmrw as I believe it will be update soon. WP:NPPS (cont.)
(cont. from here.) Hey again Cassiopeia, and thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the workload involved in the assignments, and while I can't promise I'll be the fastest to work through them, I would like to take part in the program - if this was still ok with you! I've just completed WP:TWA. Thanks again, Mxtt.prior (talk) 22:54, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Mxtt.prior Good day. I have set up the program for you. Pls bookmark the page. Do read the message on the communication section at the bottom of Assignment 1 and all the links/guidelines in the assignment prior answering the questions. Stay safe and best. Hi, Cassiopeia. I don't believe we've interacted before, but I see you have also been the target of extensive derogatory comments by SerVasi in the past. Here is SerVasi's latest attack against me, totally unprovoked.
What do you think the best course of action would be in this case?
- Amanuensis Balkanicus I have copied and pasted your message on the above here. I am not a Slav and I dont understand if "Sadko" has any other meaning besides what Wikipedia Sadko stated "an adventurer, merchant, and gusli musician from Novgorod." So I dont see that is a harrasment or personal attack here. Pls note Wikipedia need to provide independent reliable source for content added/changed. Any unsourced content can be removed from the articles. If both of you disagree with the content in the pages, you can invite them to the article talk page and have a discussion. Pls do not edit warring - see WP:EW and WP:3RR. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 00:16, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Recent changes
- Mobile IP editors are now able to receive warning notices indicating they have a talk page message on the mobile website (similar to the orange banners available on desktop). These notices will be displayed on every page outside of the main namespace and every time the user attempts to edit. The notice on desktop now has a slightly different colour. [1][2]
Changes later this week
- Wikidata will be read-only for a few minutes on 11 November. This will happen around 06:00 UTC. This is for database maintenance. [3]
- There is no new MediaWiki version this week.
Future changes
- In the future, unregistered editors will be given an identity that is not their IP address. This is for legal reasons. A new user right will let editors who need to know the IPs of unregistered accounts to fight vandalism, spam, and harassment, see the IP. You can read the suggestions for how that identity could work and discuss on the talk page.

Please don't edit war. Use the article's talk page to build consensus to remove the sentence you don't want.--Killashaw (talk) 03:17, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- Killashaw I didnt edit warring and you need to know what constitute edit warring mean. I had left a message on your talk page prior your message here. You can raise a discussion on the article talk page if you want. Pls note again, Wikipedia is not just for the Americans or US residents, but for the whole world, and not all sourced info should be in the article. Cassiopeia talk 03:26, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- You removed the sentence, I reverted that edit and then you reverted back to your preferred version. When you see that someone disagrees with your edit you should try to reach consensus instead of reverting.--Killashaw (talk) 07:01, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- Killashaw No, When I revert your edit, I sent you a message on your talk page instead of the article talk page as only you alone revert my edit, letting you know my reason, which means I had no intention of edit warring and you did not reply or discuss on our talk page and instead came here and state I edit warring. You should either discuss in your talk page since I had message you or you can go to the article talk page and open a discussion and see if any editors would like to join the discussion and see any consensus can be reached. Cassiopeia talk 08:16, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- Even if you are discussing the issue, repeatedly reverting to your preferred version before you have consensus for your change is edit warring.--Killashaw (talk) 16:21, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- Killashaw Again, I have revert twice and sent a message to you for discussion, which again, you didnt reply and that is not edit warring. And again, the disagreement is between you and me. And if you want other editor to involve, if any, you can raise a discussion in the article talk page. I have repeating explaining you and also provide you the reason. I dont think I can this is going anywhere if you dont understand what I am saying. Raise a discussion if you wish. If you keep on stating what you have said and I have explained to you multiple times, then I have no more input from here on. Cassiopeia talk 22:23, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello! How are you? It's been a while since the days of CUVA hasn't it? Hope you're doing good. Best! Signed,The4lines |||| (Talk) (Contributions) 20:24, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- The4lines Hi good to hear from you. It is always nice to hear from my students after they have finished the CUVA or NPPS program and drop by on my talk page and say hello. Guess I must have done something right as a trainer for them to still remember me. I am well and good to be able to go back to the gym and go to sport bars to watch some mma fights after a 5 month lockdown here. I took my guitars and amp out from the storage and started picking up where I left off years ago and working on the intermedia skills level aiming to play the solo parts of free bird, hotel California, november rain, comfortably numb, purple rain and etc/low level lead solo skill songs in a year time time, so spending some time practicing lead techniques/scales and guitar music theory and etc. How are you? I am happy to know you are still very active in Wikipedia and have been filtering out some copyvio and CSD articles. Good job!. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 01:26, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hey ! Good to hear back from you. I've been doing good as well, covid really shut down my life over here in the states. The covid restrictions were finally scaled back and I was able to go to school again and do more things. I've been learning guitar too during my free time. You were one of the most important people on wikipedia during the very early stages of me editing. You taught me many of things I know now. Thanks for all the work that you do! Best! request for counter-vandalism training
Hello! I've been doing counter-vandalism, mainly using Twinkle, Double-Check, and recent changes, and I have been granted Rollbacker privileges. I was wondering if you'd be able to train me on doing more advanced counter-vandalism, ideally using Huggle. my edit count at time of writing is 522, Thanks! - DirkJandeGeer Good day. Thank you for interested in joining the CVUA program. Pls note that the program do need you to read some reading material and work on 10 assignments. For such it would take some of your time in order to acquire the knowledge and applications of CUVA. If you are still interested after knowing that then, let me know. At the meant time pls complete WP:TWA program. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 02:43, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Cassiopeia, I am still interested in doing the training and doing the Wikipedia Adventure would be fine, however I've become a lot more busy and as a result I've not had as much time to contribute to wikipedia. If it's alright, I'd like to leave it for now, and I'll complete TWA when I've got some more time and get back to you. All the best! DirkJandeGeer (щи) 20:12, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

Muhammad Mokaev
Hi last (May 2020 and November 2020) i created an article for for Mokaev who has just been signed to the UFC roster as their youngest ever fighter, he is undefeated in 30 fights. He has been featured on CNN and on BBC plus numerous articles in the MMA scene. In short he is currently viewed as bit of phenom. Given that he represents GB in Wrestling and has been signed to UFC and is recieving alot of media attention and on Social media (acknowledgement from the MMA fraternity of his skills) can we add back the article that i had submitted previously? That you had deemed ineligible for publishing?Rassmallai (talk) 20:13, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
- Rassmallai Good day. Representing GB, signed by UFC, all the social media publicity and being a phenom do not meet the criteria needed for the subject to have a stand alone page. Pls provide CNN and BBC articles so I may review. Btw, he will be notable to have a page when he has fought at least 3 fights in UFC. Cassiopeia talk 04:40, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- Cassiopeia hi see the following articles. As i have stated mokaev has had 7 pro fights and and has notable news articles namely: [1] [2] [3] Rassmallai (talk) 03:28, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
References
- Rassmallai Good day. To be notable and have a stand alone page in Wikipedia, the subject needs to have significant coverage by indepedent, reliable sources where by the sources talk about the subject in depth and in length and not merely passing mentioned. The 3 sources you provided are reliable but it is not independent as the articles do contain interviews which makes the sources not independent from the subject. Thus we cant use the sources to contribute to the notability of the subject. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 08:42, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- Cassiopeia Hello Cassiopeia. I get where you are coming from however, the references made are about factual things such as: how he won a fight, or what he has achieved or done in terms of fighting. Those are facts and not opinion based things. So the references in this case are for reliability purposes and not for notability. Where notability comes in is where you are disputing whether the page should exist base on his professional record (funnily enough Wikipedia allow Brave as wiki page but don't give their fighter any recognition in wiki. So whats the actual point of that?) There is no other MMA fighter in the world that has had the media coverage or recognition and acknowledgement from established fighter pundits like Mokaev has. I know you dont see this as significant enough for Mokeav to have an articale on Wikipedia. But i feel he is a fighter of interest to many wiki readers to be able to see his background, record and for to be able to debate his fighting credentials. Whether we like it or not he is making waves in the fight scene. It is recognised in the Fighting Community and as it happens in the wider Media world. Rassmallai (talk) 13:13, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- Rassmallai Hello. I think you have misunderstanding what I have said. (1) The subject fails WP:NMMA as a MMA fighter and the (3) the subject also fails as a sportsman (wining national wrestling champion in England does not qualify even if he represent England in Olympics for it still needs to qualify the GNG guidelines and (3) general notability guidelines (GNG) in Wikipedia. The notability guidelines as mentioned which the sources needs to be "both" reliable and independent. Sources of an interview is not considered independent and significant coverage means more than 3 sources, I will considered at least 5-7 to be considered significant coverage. In regardless the info is a "fact" or not, if the source is not both reliable or independent, it can NOT be used to contribute to the notability which defines by Wikipedia (not by me nor my opinion) as Wikipedia is not a news site, nor social sites but an online enclyopedia. Lastly Wikipedia notability guidelines is not defined by the interested of the readers or the fighting credentials (by the way, he has not fought any tier one promoter (such as UFC) let alone a champion in any tier one promoter. I am very familiar with UFC fighters and as I have follow the sport for more than 13 years and one of my areas of focus in Wikipedia editing is about MMA. I also aware of the hype of Mokaev especially he has just signed by UFC this past week and I have watch the interview of him in MMA Hour by Ariel Helwani. Just like Khamzat Chimaev, even with his impressive first two fights in UFC and gain thousands of IG fans, he was not considered notable until he fought his 3rd fight in UFC. Chimaev debuted in July 15, 2020 and his page was created on July 17, 2020. I moved the page to draft on July 26, 202 and declined the draft submission on July 27, 2020, September 6, 2020 and accepted the article in September 20 after Chimaev has fought his 3rd fight in UFC on September 19, 2020 - see here. I believe you might also notice Paddy Pimblett also has lots of hype and but he still fails GNG and NMMA guidelines and he does not have a page in English Wikipedia. I have created about at least 250 articles about MMA fighter/event and review another 300-400 articles which created by other editors, for such I do know a few things about the subject. The page has been moved to draft by other editor and I have removed the "2" on the article name. Do wait until the subject has secured his 3rd fight in UFC which I believe by early to mid 2023, then the page can be created. I and another mma editors keep track of all upcoming notble MMA fighters in English Wikipedia, even you dont create the page by when the subject is notable, we will. Stay safe and best.
