Hi, Carolyn. You obviously have an undeclared conflict of interest with the topic. You need to read the guidelines on this and act accordingly, as soon as possible. Deb (talk) 07:57, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Deb, thanks for your suggestion. I want to confirm that I have no conflict of interest regarding this page. I am a UI/UX engineer and I just use this software for my own projects, which helps me better understand the visitors behavior on a websites I maintain. Carolyn Hodges (talk) 21:52, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Be careful, please. If you have a business relationship with this company, then you probably do have a COI and should post the "connected contributor" message. Your edit history shows that, instead of practising small edits on existing articles as is recommended for new users, you've chosen to create an article from scratch on this particular topic and nothing else. Deb (talk) 09:15, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. I have added connected participant tag and explanatory comments to the talk page. Thank you, Carolyn Hodges (talk) 00:16, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Komito Analytics, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. YODADICAE👽 19:00, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Komito Analytics moved to draftspace

While you have made a statement regarding COI, this still needs to go through review before being moved to mainspace, please do not do so yourself. Click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Onel5969 TT me 16:02, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Your conflict of interest statement on your user page is so confusing and poorly written it is impossible to understand, please edit to make it clear just what your connection is to Draft:Komito Analytics. Theroadislong (talk) 20:24, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Theroadislong (talk) I want to confirm that I have no direct conflict of interest without have any sort of financial or other connection with the subject of this draft regarding this page. I am working as an UI/UX engineer at Datamart in Northern California office, and all the marketing and analytics staff including web analytics are in European offices. I just use this software for my own projects, which helps me better understand the visitors behavior on a websites I maintain. While writing this article, I have tried my best to maintain a neutral point of view. Carolyn Hodges (talk) 21:10, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Komito analytics

[edit]

Hello! I happened to come across this page. It is decently put together for a new article. I did my own search to try and find some additional sources, but did not find any. It looks to me like this company and its product are not "notable", as we say. That means it very likely will not be published. If a company is not notable, the only thing to do is to wait for more sources to be published on it. I wanted to mention my independent view, as it seems like you are a good-faith user struggling (as just about all new users do!) with the ins and outs of how Wikipedia works. I would encourage you to keep editing, but to make sure a company or subject or person is notable before starting an article. That is usually indicated by three sources in independent publications that discuss the thing/person/company in non-trivial terms. There are other guidelines as well for notability, such as WP:NARTIST, WP:NSPORT and WP:NPOLITICIAN. Hope this helps! --- Possibly 01:28, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
All the sources that are cited are reliable and independent of the subject (including (dot)com/blog sources mentioned by User:TheBirdsShedTears).
Mentions of a product by Loves Data company or by its founder Benjamin Mangold is a great honor in the Web Analytics world. It's like a song that you wrote was mentioned by Ariana Grande in her blog. And the same for Analytics Mania and its founder Julius Fedorovicius. Both companies (and their founders) are well-known and important figures in the world of web analytics.
Hope this helps and thank you in advance.
Carolyn Hodges (talk) 03:48, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Primary sources may be useful for satisfying verifiability, but they contribute very less satisfying notability. I feel you need to provide sources with SIGCOV like this. Please read WP:USESPS for future references. Thank you TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:34, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I got into an infinite loop, some time ago another admin asked me to remove all these sources :)
I commented out them in the code, please advise if I can uncomment and use these source again:

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Praxidicae was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Blackhat SEO, paid for spam and press releases are not a suitable indication of notability.
PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:57, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Praxidicae, thanks for your effort to review my draft.
I again and again get into a vicious circle, some administrators ask me to delete some links and I delete them, some administrators on the contrary ask me to add links and I add them. The last one request by User:TheBirdsShedTears was to add such links:
> I feel you need to provide sources with SIGCOV like this
My article itself is nothing to Black SEO or spam.
Thanks you,
Carolyn Hodges (talk) 17:37, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Caseyweekly is blackhat SEO. PRAXIDICAE🌈 17:41, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But I added it because User:TheBirdsShedTears asked me to add. Carolyn Hodges (talk) 17:52, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Originally there were links to books and web-analytics influencers web sites.
