Long time no see!

Hey, hope you're doing okay. I lost my phone a while back which is why I haven't really spoke in a while. I saw you on the express on Monday, but you shot off out the queue before I got a chance to talk to you. I thought maybe you had decided to come into the Stats exam just for the buzz.

But anyway, yeah, want to chill out, deletionist? All my watchlist seems to get is messages appearing on your talk page from users who's pages you're deleting and they don't know how to fix it. Most of the pages I've seen aren't actually deletable material just pages which need copy-edited. Have you thought about slapping {{Cleanup-english}} instead?

Don't worry it gets you the same amount of edits! --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 20:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Wow, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sure we just left each other messages at the same time! Insania. Was Mark Stewart in that exam? I've been kinda pacing with him over the weekend (We both had exams Fri, Mon & Tue) and he said something about a fire alarm this morning. Thank god that didn't happen to me, I had to be in work for half 12 after my exam - which luckily enough, was little Stats, which only took 1 1/2 hours!
But yeah I had a little look into WP:COPY, so i went out and found some sources - turns out all their press releases on websites which allow you to submit them for free (here, here, here,). They all have been submitted by the website themselves, and all start "GBN4ME is a business networking website for the media", by the looks of things, Alexa says it's kind of busy though. What do you think? --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 23:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
I had no idea about integrated studies, they hadn't contacted me or me them. What's the deadline for? Ps. I was going to tell you how many people are using my twitter template (over 5000) when i got a message on my talk page that it has been nominated for deletion. --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 18:33, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Bump, what did you mean?--SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 16:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Cabe6403. Thanks for your note. For the record, I think that this article could have got through WP:GAN; and I stated that at the start of the GAN review on 13 May 2009. I'm aware from the review that you dissagree with some of my comments and that is fair enough; however, some two months after the start of the review the points to which you raised no objections were still unaddressed.

Some of my comments also reflect the advice given in the Final Comments of Talk:Glengoyne Distillery/GA1, going back to 24 January 2009. My view, however, remains unchanged since 13 May 2009, this article is capable of making GA-status, but it is not there yet. However, I wish you success in improving it to GA standard.Pyrotec (talk) 18:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

City of Bath Technical School - New addition today

Dear Cabe, Please allow me to make the following comments on your decision to delete my article.

As a new user to Wikipedia I am obviously overwhelmed with the requirements for postings, but never the less I will learn in due course. Your help will be most welcome.

(a) As to the question of Notability, quite a number of notaries attended this old school. This article was intended to be a first chapter in a much more detailed article. Could you advise if this is not the best approach and will this information have any effect on your current appraisal?

(b) Where is the "spam" in the article?

(c)Can you possibly elaborate on you abbreviated comments please.

City of Bath Technical School

Hi Cabe, Thank you for your prompt response, if you look again at the article you will see additional content added today.

References (where applicable and if material is still available) will be included A.S.A.P.

Perhaps I should have spent more time in preparation using my own "Sandbox" before posting.

The learning curve is very steep for a pupil of my age ! Nisi Dominus Frustra and all that.

City of Bath Technical School - unassessed article

Hi Cabe, Thanks very much for the sound advice .. I guess old habits creeping in again .. it was quite common practice in historical technical documents to highlight both the the numerical data and any reference to the subject under discussion. I will heed your advice and check out a few more articles of sismilar nature on Wiki ..like I said before, day 2 is turning out to harder that day 1 for me. Not too much sleep either .. Oh well, back to the sand box eh? :(

Next stop - adding the graphics, that`s gonna be fun I bet ! :)

Good to know at least someone is checking on what I`m up to!

City of Bath Technical School - unassessed article

Hi Cabe, I have considered what you have advised regarding the graphics material. I don`t think that (apart from original "own work") the inclusion of graphic material will enhance the article.

The emblem, (digital reproduction, own work) the school building (built in 1864) still a school (photgraphed by group in 2002) and a photo from the somerset archives of the school (barracks) in 1864 are the only items under consideration.

I will have to contact the Somerset archive about the laater. If you have time ..comments please.

Hi, I noticed that you nominated this one for deletion. Perhaps due to some Twinkle glitches, the AfD page (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/My Man (Song)) is not created. Just thought that you might want to renominate this one & put it in today's log. Tim Song (talk) 04:25, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Cheers, that was odd. I tried it again but still no joy. Third time's the charm however :) Thanks for letting me know -- Cabe6403 (TalkSign) 10:55, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Singlecask 20yo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image which is not under a free license or in the public domain and it has not been used in any article for more than seven days.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. aaaahhhh

Have you seen what I have caused (Very much accidentally) --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 03:56, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

That's quite a good effort right there. I'd vote keep since it seems like a useful wee template tbh, I don't see what everyones problem is. Also, did you get the int stud thing done? -- Cabe6403 (TalkSign) 11:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Nah, I forgot to email him, and then Katy reminded me that I wouldn't be back until Monday midnight anyway. Basically meant I would have had to complete it and get it handed into town all in about 40 minutes. Festival was good though. --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 02:19, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
