Biggest Dharma Chakra of India History Around 2300 years ago Emperor Ashoka erected an edict’s pillar in this village in his lifetime and during the 13th century A.D. Feroz Shah Tughlaq dismantled, transported and re-installs this edicts pillar at Kotla, New Delhi. In the Present time it is the only edict’s pillar in the whole of the Indian subcontinent, which has 7 sets of inscriptions over it. In order to revive the lost glory of the village, an iron chakra with 24 spokes, made. In the past, Dhamma Chakra symbolized not only the Buddha, but also Dharma teachings taught by Him. It was Emperor Asoka, who officially adopted Dhamma Chakra on edicts pillars he installed throughout the Indian subcontinent for the propagation of Dharma.
