F*** this place
I'd strongly advise against that. I'm fairly confident that it wouldn't provide the results that you might want.
Be honest: This place has, at times, given you a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction.
The world is full of idiots, bigots and the brain-dead. Sadly, WP seems to attract more than the average share of these. Sadly, this situation is not going to change dramatically any time soon. So, ignore them.
Continue to do what gives you enjoyment and satisfaction, and enjoy doing it and be satisfied by doing it.
Alternatively, piss-off and get a life. Note, however, that after five years and many frustrations, I'm still here. God knows why. It would be much more sensible if I DID "piss-off and get a life". But who said logic had anything to do with it?
Hang on in there. If you'd prefer to discuss it "off-line", feel free to send me email. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 11:13, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- I know we initially got off on the wrong foot, but please DON'T GO! :D You actually are one of the few editors I look up to. And you know why? because you are not only extremely experienced, but a respected editor - who is really passionate. We all say things that sometimes we don't mean, but at the end of the day, we are all a community! I get in arguments all the time - real life and WP. I just rub it off, and move on. Message me whenever you'd like, and remember that there are great editors all over WP that are friendly, commenter above being one! -- MST☆R (Chat Me!) 11:35, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
AusBT
Hi Bidgee – I'm just following up on my messages from last year regarding the status of links to AusB.com.au and why these this domain is blacklisted. As I've explained before, AusBT is a professional site staffed by journalists and a highly-regarded independent news source, and breaks many stories which are useful citations for Wiki content. So I'm once again reaching out to you to ask how we can set this to rights - is there any specific reason you've blacklisted AusBT and as editor of AusBT, what can I do to help sort this out? Thanks Djsflynn (talk) 20:14, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
