- Length of the article checks out fine, as does the date when the article was moved out of user space. Overall, the article looks pretty good in terms of meeting core policies and guidelines. The photo is also nice and has an appropriate license. But I have an issue with the hook. The hook says that De Blaes "represented" (past tense) Australia at the WWC. But the article says she is "vying for a spot on the team that will [future tense] compete at the 2012 ISF XIII Women's World Championships." Also, the source here says that she's on a squad from which "17 players and 5 reserves will be selected [again, future tense] to play in the 2012 ISF XIII Women's World Championships to be held in Whitehorse, Canada from 13-22 July 2012." Putting it all together, it seems that De Blaes has not yet "represented" Australia at the WWC and won't do so until some time in July 2012, if selected. If I'm missing something, let me know. - "In 2010, she represented Australia at the World Championships in Caracas, Venezuela" She represented Australia at the 2010 World Championships. --LauraHale (talk) 03:15, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying. It didn't immediately strike me that the 2010 event in Caracas was the same thing as the ISF Women's World Championship. The source for Caracas says she played for the "Aussie Spirit" team -- not apparent on the face of it that this is the Australian national team, but I confirmed that through independent cross-checking. It might help to clarify some of these points, but nothing that would prevent the hook from being approved. This one is good to go. Cbl62 (talk) 20:36, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
