Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Raichand Boral, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello. I just created this article. I was wondering if you'd be so good as to add material to it, since you seem to be interested in religious conflicts in Bengal. I can find very little material online, as there seems to be a media blackout concerning this particular riot.Handyunits (talk) 18:42, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I just found out that, you have written an article on 2013 Bangladesh Anti-Hindu violence. Thanks a lot for your effort. However, there are some editors who are trying to divert the focus on a different direction by calling it a 'riot' created by the police and the current government, which is actually not true (Please see [1]). Is it possible to merge the violence of Jamaat Shibir on the minorities (i.e. Hindus), Police, and government properties in a single article? If not, at least we need to make 2013 Bangladesh riot article neutral and include the true information. Let me know if you need help with references. Pratanu.roy (talk) 07:20, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

2013 Canning riots

Do you have a source for the claim in the article that the Islamist mobs engaged in the specific desecration of Hindu temples visa-a-vis Tulsi plants and urination? Perhaps the Anandabazar Patrika article? My reading comprehension in Bengali is not perfect, so your continuing contributions to the article in question are very much needed at this point.Handyunits (talk) 05:56, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

The article Samayik Prasanga has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABILITY not established

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Arvind Ghosh has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Zayeem (talk) 16:22, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Dainik Nababarta Prasanga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Zayeem (talk) 15:16, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Nomoshkar! Thank You for create 2013 Bangladesh Anti-Hindu violence - many very interested information. Dhanyavad :-) --Indu (talk) 23:20, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

The Category:Bangladeshi poets is for those poets who was born or lived in the geographical area which is now known as Bangladesh, so its fair to use in that article. --Zayeem (talk) 09:55, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

May I know, where is the scope of Category:Bangladeshi poets defined? As per common knowledge, 'Bangladeshi' stands for nationality, for the people who are/were citizens of Bangladesh. BengaliHindu (talk) 15:16, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Well, the category is used in many articles about poets who died before 1971, Alaol, Hason Raja for instance, same as the Category:Indian poets is used in many articles about poets of pre-partition era.--Zayeem (talk) 16:42, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
If they died before 26 March 1971, they technically are not Bangladeshis. Please remove the category for Alaol, Hason Raja and others whom you know. BengaliHindu (talk) 18:12, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Categories are not facts, rather they are meant for providing easier access to the general readers/editors to find their desired article, hence the category is well placed in those articles. BTW I'm amazed to see that you are asking for removal of Category:Bangladeshi poets but not the Category:Indian poets! --Zayeem (talk) 18:19, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Categories are not facts, but you just can't put any damn category unless you can justify it. Can you prove the Bangladeshi credentials of Chandravati? If you want to discuss about Category:Indian poets, lets do it elsewhere, possibly here at Category_talk:Indian poets. But first prove that Chandravati was a Bangladeshi. BengaliHindu (talk) 18:27, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Already explained, justified and proven in the discussion here, BTW you can also discuss about the Category:Bangladeshi poets in its talk page, till then don't remove the category from the article. --Zayeem (talk) 18:35, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Just because the category has been used to categorize many poets who died before 1971, it does not explain, justify or prove that Chandravati, who died around circa. 1600, was of Bangladeshi nationality.BengaliHindu (talk) 18:42, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Bangladeshi identity

Is it possible to move the above discussion to Category talk:Bangladeshi poets or some other relevant page where the current debate and many others over Bangladeshi identity may be suitably resolved. BengaliHindu (talk) 18:51, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Yes you can copy and paste the discussion, with a link to the new discussion there. Or you could post it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Bangladesh, which may get more people looking at it. Or post on the category page, and provide a link at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Bangladesh. Wherever you decide to copy it to, you should provide a link here saying where the discussion originated. You could also start a new discussion at either of those places. --kelapstick(bainuu) 19:01, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Please don't move the discussion in other articles' talk page, as you did here. Category talk:Bangladeshi poets or Wikipedia talk:Notice board for Bangladesh-related topics might be suitable pages. --Zayeem (talk) 19:17, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Why don't you place two links there? BengaliHindu (talk) 19:19, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Hey whats the problem with you, man? When the admin says that it can be moved to any relevant page with link to it, why do you remove it without even notifying me? BengaliHindu (talk) 19:31, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Note I am not an administrator, but you should have left the discussion here, and copied it over, not moved it. Kmzayeem is correct, the WikiProject page or related notice board would have been the appropriate place to put it, not the talk page of Bangladesh--kelapstick(bainuu) 20:28, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

The article 1964 East Pakistan genocide has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
