ResistBot Edit
Hi!
My name is Inaara, and I am currently a student at UC Berkeley. I created the article on ResistBot as part of my Wikipedia class assignment. I'm still learning how this works, so thank you so much for contributing to the article. I had a question: On the edit history, it says that you added Categorization tags, but the article is still flagged for not having categories. How do you think I should fix that? Thanks! Sweet inaara (talk) 23:00, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
now is good. thank you

Are you kidding me?
OMG. Did you really just throw the admin card at me [1] as a way to pull rank and WP:WIN a dispute? With no attempt at discussion...seriously??? Wow. -- ψλ ● ✉ ✓ 17:21, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ConsumersDistributingonline; I intended to keep a few good edits like that, but I rollbacked the IP's edits per WP:DENY. Definitely feel free to fix what may have been broken. Nate • (chatter) 18:55, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
Problem
Hi, I need administrator help. I meant to update an article under the title of Mount Cayley but did it under Mount Cayley massif so the article history is not present. My intention was to update the article under "Mount Cayley" then move it to "Mount Cayley massif". Volcanoguy 12:10, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Hey! I noticed you created this page Jennifer Craig and it seems like a possible COI also edited this page (Seniorcraig (talk · contribs)) judging by their name and edits. I know you don't own the article I just wanted to advise that is why I added a COI tag. I am unfamiliar with this BLP so I am probably not the best person to try and clean it up. Hello. Thank you for your comments on my categorisation on the page on William Charles Boyden-Mitchell. Perhaps you could clarify, as I'm new to Wikipedia and I don't understand what 'parents' and 'piping' means. If you could explain in plain English, that would be more helpful. Thank you. Thanks, but no thanks
Contrary to what you wrote here that was not a joke at all. These were forgotten test edits from when I found issues with the template and was working on fixing them.[2] --AussieLegend (✉) 15:24, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

Deleted Page
Hello,
I'm trying to reinstate a deleted page. Here is the information on the deletion log:
18:36, 5 August 2017 Bearcat (talk | contribs) deleted page Mark Birdwhistell (G5: Created by a banned or blocked user (OfficialPankajPatidar) in violation of ban or block)
Would you be able to help me get the page reinstated, please?
Thank you,
Hannah — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.238.202 (talk) 16:53, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, no, I can't do anything to help you, for two reasons: firstly, content created and posted by banned users cannot be in Wikipedia at all, and secondly, the original version didn't actually reliably source Mark Birdwhistell as actually meeting our notability standards at all: it was a résumé-style article "referenced" to primary sources that cannot help to make a person notable, not a properly referenced encyclopedia article that satisfied our inclusion standards. So to get an article about him recreated now, you would have to start over from scratch rather than simply getting the deleted version restored — and you would have to cite much better referencing (i.e. actual media coverage about him) to make him notable than OfficialPankajPatidar did. Bearcat (talk) 17:05, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
Thank you - this is very helpful information. I appreciate the quick response! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.238.202 (talk) 17:06, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
I have unreviewed a page you curated
Hi, I'm Anaxial. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Love, Scott, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you.

I share your views on WP:NPOL, and you articulate them better than I do. It seems general consensus is shifting toward keeping a higher number of articles about congressional candidates because the candidacies are receiving coverage in RS. This seems to be a somewhat recent trend--or maybe I'm misreading things and there's no trend at all, just some odd duck AFDs. Any thoughts on this? Worth a larger discussion in order to refine the notability criteria, or is that just unnecessary bureaucratization? Marquardtika (talk) 01:43, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
a heads-up
I just noticed that Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rachel Giese was started, about three months after I started the Rachel Giese article. But the usual convention of informing the article creator wasn't followed. I checked to see whether you informed someone else -- sometimes when someone turns a redirect into a real article it is the individual who created the redirect who gets the heads-up, not the person who created the article.
I think you usually observe this important convention.
I am going to request userification. Once it is userified are you interested in the comments I would have left at the Afd, if I had been informed it was underway? Geo Swan (talk) 23:04, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
Bad Blood
Hi again. New info came out about Bad Blood (TV series) from Rogers. There's some info about the production and season 2 premise, and the new characters. I was thinking about how we should format the characters now, since, I don't know if you watched the show, but Vito and Nicolo Rizzuto will not be in the next season, with several new characters coming in. Some top shows break the characters up by main and reoccurring, but may be harder to place some characters than others. Thoughts? Thanks for your continued help, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:07, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

Andrea Horwath page
Hello. I recently made this edit and only afterwards realized that it might be considered bad form in relation to the current page protection. I've added this to the talk page ... and I could easily self-revert if you think my edit was premature. Please advise if so. CJCurrie (talk) 02:10, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi Bearcat,
Thank you for writing the response to my question about reinstating Bruce Flatt's Wikipedia page. I have no experience creating content for Wikipedia and don't really know where to start. Given that there used to be a page for Bruce Flatt, is there any way to get hold of the content so that I can use that as the starting point for my draft? Many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrn helmers (talk • contribs) 16:07, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
Ellen DeGeneres
Hi Bearcat, I went to the article titled "Ellen DeGeneres" and I can't add the category called "Category:American game show hosts" because the article is indefinite protected. I know that Ellen DeGeneres hosted a NBC primetime game show called "Ellen's Game of Games". So could you do me a favor. Could you go to the article titled "Ellen DeGeneres" to add "Category:American game show hosts" and the fix the categories in alphabetical order. I know I can't add "Category:American game show hosts" because of the article protection. I hope you can add the "Category:American game show hosts" on the Ellen DeGeneres article bescause she hosted "Ellen's Game of Games". I will end the message. Make sure to add Category:American game show hosts on the Ellen DeGeneres article. I will look forward to your reply. Thanks and have a great day. 207.102.255.248 (talk) 23:50, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

Heads up for previously deleted BLP
Hi, I am pulling together reliable sources to create Joshua M. Ferguson, whom I believe is sufficiently notable as an LGBT+ campaigner based on recent international coverage. I did not get to see the previous article, and will deliberately create an article from scratch to avoid any potential issues with COI or promotional material. As you raised the previous AFD, I would value any feedback you have time to give, no doubt it will appear on your watchlist later @Eluchil404: FYI as deleting admin. --Fæ (talk) 09:40, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
Wiki Loves Pride
Do you mind if I add new LGBT-related article you create during June to Wikipedia:Wiki Loves Pride/2018/Results? ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:59, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
- Dear boy, you know I don't mind. --Fæ (talk) 09:31, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
Category:LGBT writers from the United States has more than 1,500 entries. Do you think subcategories for (at least some) U.S. states would be helpful? I'm happy to start combing through and recategorizing, but first I wanted to see if: 1) you think this is a good idea, and 2) you know of ways of to do this quicker than I can manually because you use AWB. Thoughts? ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:36, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
A rather silly question ;-)
Hi, You're an admin and I saw that you worked on Draft:EAGLES_Academy yesterday. I think that's a well-written article, all in all. I could technically move articles from draft to main myself, am I allowed to do that with this article (or any other draft)? I've never written one here in the English project and tried to find out how the common procedures are but got lost: There isn't a precise, short introduction on that. Could you briefly explain how the draft article above will find its way to the main space? Could you publish it? Do we have to wait for others (whom?) to cast a vote? Thanks a lot! Regards from Germany, GeoTrinity (talk) 10:16, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
Kate Trotter: is she really notable?
Hi, just a note to let you know that I have placed a "maybe not notable" tag on your page about Kate Trotter. Sure, her bits in Friday the 13th the Series were fun, but is she really important enough for Wikipedia? HandsomeMrToad (talk) 01:36, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response on my TALK page. I don't THINK you are new to Wikipedia--I seem to recall seeing your name before--but just in case you are new, the usual way we do things around here when someone puts up a "notability" banner is: we debate the question on the article's TALK page until a consensus emerges, and then we go with the consensus decision after it has emerged. We do not, as a general rule, simply delete a banner on our own initiative because we personally disagree with it.
- Are her roles in the (many) TV shows SIGNIFICANT, or are they incidental guest-appearances like in Friday the 13th the Series? And, does she have a large fan-base or cult following? And, has she made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to her field? Those are the three criteria I see on Wikipedia: NACTOR.
- Best wishes, HandsomeMrToad (talk) 05:38, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- UPDATE: I have initiated a discussion on the TALK page of the article on Kate Trotter. Please post your replies and opinions there, rather than on my TALK page. Thank you, -- HandsomeMrToad (talk) 05:50, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
Zara Kitson
Hi there,
There is a discussion regarding the deletion of an article for Zara Kitson which is very similar to the one that was deleted for Toni Giugliano https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Toni_Giugliano I noticed that you took part in the discussion and would invite your comments for Zara Kitson, as the discussion has been relisted to gain a consensus. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Zara_Kitson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.116.24 (talk) 13:49, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
