[edit]Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Burkhard Pape article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 14:55, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I think this article (in German) proves that he is dead: https://www.merkur.de/sport/amateur-fussball/landkreis-muenchen/burkhard-papes-reise-endet-mit-91-jahren-92905816.html Bdschi (talk) 15:02, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Please do not link to years per WP:OVERLINK, please use correct dashes, please use correct date formats, and please replace the 'living people' category. I've just had to clean up a number of articles you edited. GiantSnowman 21:03, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. What's the date format to use on Wikipedia? Is it "April 3rd 2024"? Bdschi (talk) 10:39, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Werner Huß, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carthaginian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hi @Bdschi,
According to the response I was given, the image cannot be used as-is on other wikimedia projects (including wikipedia in other languages). It was uploaded under fair use terms, meaning that it can only be used in that article on the project to which it was uploaded (hewiki).
Usage in another project requires uploading it again to the other project, following the guidelines in WP:FU (or to the corresponding guidelines in the other project), assuming it indeed complies with the local fair use terms.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance...
Good luck! E L Yekutiel (talk) 10:12, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- I got the permission to use the photo also on the German and English Wikipedia page. I assume that these restrictions are to avoid antisemitic misuse. I am so sad that after all Jenny and her generation went through this is still an issue.
- I also got the following message "This photo can also be seen on the Hebrew Wikipedia page (but it is printed backwards)". I have no idea how it can be fixed. Bdschi (talk) 10:54, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Intforce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Neuschwanstein Castle, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. intforce (talk) 14:05, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have addd a reference, hope that's fine. Bdschi (talk) 15:49, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
