I do not think the non-admin closing here was appropriate. The AFD (indeed, the entire set of related AFDs) was certainly controversial and contested, and similar discussions were admin-closed as redirects. Only one of the many other discussions in the set appears to have been closed as "no consensus" so far, with a more detailed closing statement. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 22:22, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
RfPP
Please don't flood RfPP with requests for PC removal. Technically, they should be taken up with the admin who added it, but I believe there are at least two admins actively removing it from articles where there would be no detriment in removing it. Unless there's some reason that specific articles really need to be protected or unprotected, there's no rush. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:40, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- My bad. :( Baseball Watcher 00:04, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
About your relist at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fair Dinkum Histories - it would have been more appropriate to just do a no consensus close with WP:NPASR implied or explicitly stated. The relisting policy states that "debates should not be relisted more than twice" without an accompanying rationale for relisting, and even then that would be rare. Just a pointer for the future. I don't suppose it will come as any great surprise to you that I strongly disagree with your decision to close this as a keeper. If you go by counting heads, yes a majority said keep. If you go by logic, reason, and Wikipedia policy I think it's fairly clear that this article utterly fails some of our most basic requirements, specifically WP:V. Any chance of reconsidering? Beeblebrox (talk) 22:58, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Wait, actually you can't reconsider since you are not an admin. Please re-open the AFD and allow someone who is able to close it with a different result make the determination. NAC closes are for obvious cases only. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:04, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to WikiProject Articles for Creation
Thank you for your recent work in Articles for Creation. I would like to formally welcome you to the project, I am glad you have joined. Best, Alpha Quadrant talk 14:34, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Images for upload pages.
A few tips that you might find helpful:
- Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
- The project's discussion board is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
- Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
- You might wish to add {{AFC status}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
- Several of our members monitor the #wikipedia-en-help connect IRC channel, and you are welcome to join in.
- The IRC channel #wikipedia-en-afc connect is used occasionally for internal discussion regarding the Articles for Creation process, and also serves as a recent changes feed, displaying all edits made in the Articles for Creation namespace.
Once again, welcome to the project. Alpha Quadrant talk 14:34, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Dead people
I notice on a recent edit to Franz Krieger, you added both Category:1993 deaths and Category:Dead people. This is both unnecessary – Category:1993 deaths is a subcategory of Category:Dead people, so there is no need to add both tags – and incorrect – Category:Dead people is a container category and should not contain any articles directly. The correct thing would have been to add only Category:1993 deaths. —Paul A (talk) 03:43, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

PVC Pipe Association Page Removal
Dear Baseball Watcher,
I am writing to you in response to the comment that the article that I posted (PVC Pipe Association) was copyright infringement. I have tried two different version, neither of which use the same wording that is contained on the Uni-Bell website. (www.uni-bell.org), though I have been told twice that I am violating copyright. I received the following message from you...
This article appears to be taken from http://www.uni-bell.org/about.html. We cannot accept copyrighted content taken from web sites or printed sources. Note that copyright protection is granted to all works automatically, whether it is asserted or not. Unless stated otherwise, assume that most content on the internet is copyrighted and not suitable for Wikipedia. Please write in your own words, and in continuous prose.
What can I post about the PVC Pipe Association? I use the website as a source, because it is the best place to refer someone to if they want more information.
Thanks,

"You do not have permission to do that, for the following reason:
There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been cancelled as a precaution against session hijacking. Go back to the previous page, reload that page and then try again."
And I hadn't even tried to do anything... That's what I'd never seen before.
