Pending changes reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited COVID-19 pandemic in the San Francisco Bay Area, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Safeway. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:33, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Aasim, you reverted my edit to this redirect a few seconds ago. Before I made my edit, the rcat showed this as a redirect pointing from japanese to japanese. I changed this to Japanese and English. This edit was indeed constructive. 122.60.65.44 (talk) 02:22, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Good catch! Thanks and happy editing! Aasim (talk) 02:24, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello?

[edit]

Aasim! Hey it’s Artsy Koala (from wikiHow). How do I do this? How do I patrol recent changes? How do I send messages? I am confused. Artsy Koala (talk) 20:16, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

See User:Awesome Aasim/Wikipedia for wikiHowians and Project:Welcome. Aasim (talk) 05:24, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
I should have clarified further. Wikipedia is very different from wikiHow. I do want to give you a warm welcome :) In the essay I wrote (which is not policy), I basically was trying to show ways that wikiHowians could continue doing the things they love on Wikipedia. The Project:Welcome page is a more official page that shows you ways you can get started.
Recent Changes Patrol is a bit complicated because of the thousands of hits that Wikipedia gets. What I tend to do is put a filter so I only see edits that are most likely to be problematic. You may find this a lot better when finding bad edits. Click on the "diff" on each of each of these, and if the edit looks malicious or harmful, you can click on "undo" to revert the edit. Or you can use Twinkle to revert the edit even quicker. Or you can use this more experimental tool RedWarn. Aasim (talk) 09:25, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for fixing the image on the Twilight Saga page. I screwed up :( Artsy Koala (talk) 15:17, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Artsy Koala - No problem. If you need any help doing anything, all you need to do is ask! There is the {{help me}} template you can place on your talk page. All you have to do is place this code in a new section, say "I need help" in the header, then ask your question below the template. I and other Wikipedia editors want to help you learn the ropes when editing.  :) Aasim (talk) 21:40, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
You can also ask your question at the help desk, though in that case you do not use the {{help me}} template. Aasim (talk) 21:41, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
