Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Asifupm22. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Yamla (talk) 11:32, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Yamla,
Thank you very much for your message and for letting me know about the conflict of interest (COI) terms. Now I am affiliated as a Post-Doc fellow at Universiti Putra Malaysia and working as a full-time researcher there. However, I had published some papers in the Asian Journal of Medical and Biological Research. As this platform is serving in the publication of rigorous scientific content from the world's renowned scientists. I was interested to create this page for letting know about this Journal to the Wikipedia community and the overall scientific community about the practice of this journal. I did not receive any money or other benefits/amenities to write this article from the journal/publisher/persons involved with this journal. Recently this journal has confirmed its indexing in the prestigious Chemical Abstracts Service a top-class indexing service maintained by the American Chemical Society. So, in terms of view, this journal is performing its best and hopefully, this article will help other scientists to acknowledge and understand the ins and outs of the publication process of this journal.
On the other hand, I have prepared some drafts to contribute to Wikipedia about some marine species from the South China Sea, upon unblocking my IP I can submit them to Wikipedia for review.
Thank you very much for understanding.

S. M. Lutful Kabir moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, S. M. Lutful Kabir, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 15:41, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Asian Journal of Conservation Biology. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on talk pages or project pages such as the Teahouse. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article? Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:10, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Asian Journal of Conservation Biology, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
