Singapore Indoor Stadium

Hi Arjayay, my name is Alan and thank you for stating your reason with regards to the edit.

However, as you cannot assume that every reader knows which country or regions those artists are from, it certainly make sense to create a column to state which country/region these artists are based in. The flags may seem to be unnecessary to you, but IMOH it is the easiest way for readers to identify the country that a particular artist is coming from WITHOUT having to click on the link of the artist to find out where they come from. I am in no means of politicising anything in this case.

It also make things neater by separating the "Artist" and "Tour" into different columns instead of mixing them up all in the same column. As you can see from here, I am not adding any unsourced materials or informations that requires further citacions. Refer to another Wikipedia articles such as "Estadio de Fútbol de la Universidad Simón Bolívar" (in Caracas) or the "Jockey Club" in Asuncion for a reference of what I was referring to. The main purpose of the article section is for every reader to understand all the informations clearly at the first glance.

In addition to that, the image of the Singapore Indoor Stadium is outdated as it was taken many years ago during the construction of the Circle Line, the proposals for the Singapore Sports Hub has not been materialised back then. Please do kindly update it or give me the permission to replace it with a new one.

I do hope you can understand my frustration when you decided to revert back my edit which I have spent for hours to making it comprehensible for all. Do feel free to clarify with me so that both of us can come to an agreement, thank you.

Hi ‎Xinyang Aliciabritney
Firstly, please sign all posts on talk pages with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp
I assume that you have accepted my first three points of the explanation on your talk page - date format, linking years and linking dates, and we are only discussing the fourth - adding countries/flags.
I am afraid that I do not see any advantage in adding the country, and although you point to Estadio de Fútbol de la Universidad Simón Bolívar as an example (which does not include flags), I can point to Events at the O2 Arena as a counter example without countries or flags. I cannot see that the country is very important, the reader either knows who Eric Clapton is, or they do not, I cannot see that his country of origin is "adding value" to the reader, but that is my opinion, not a Wikipedia policy or guideline.
The flags are, however, covered by WP:ICONDECORATION - "Icons should serve an encyclopaedic purpose and not merely be decorative. They should provide additional useful information on the article subject, serve as visual cues that aid the reader's comprehension, or improve navigation. Icons should not be added only because they look good: one reader's harmless decoration may be another reader's distraction". The flags serve no "encyclopaedic purpose" and provide no "additional useful information" so should not be included
So, if you really want to add JUST the countries back, although I don't think it is useful, I cannot cite a policy or guideline for their deletion, so I will leave them, but the changes to date format, linking years, linking dates and flags are all against the guidelines, so I will revert them. - Arjayay (talk) 10:11, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi Arjayay, thank you for your insightful thoughts.Have you referred to the article on the Jockey Club in Asuncion? The flags of the country that an artist performed has all been included over there. You have stated that flags "should provide additional useful information on the article subject, serve as visual cues that aid the reader's comprehension, or improve navigation" Do you think that it will be a distraction or a visual cues for the readers? In that case, is that alright for me to merge the "Years" and "Date" in that case? Is there a guideline that regulates the date format? Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 10:27, 15 April 2016 (UTC) Xinyang Aliciabritney

Personally, I think the current date format at Singapore Indoor Stadium is better than that at Events at the O2 Arena as the years are clearly separated. As is stated at the top of the edit page {{Use dmy dates|date=August 2011}}, so the article has had day/month/year formatting since at least August 2011, which should be retained as MOS:DATERET "The date format chosen by the first major contributor in the early stages of an article should continue to be used." - Arjayay (talk) 10:37, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Have you referred to the article on Hipódromo de Asunción that includes the flag of the country that an artist performed in the arena? Do you think that it should be reverted back as well or do you think that the Singapore Indoor Stadium should observe something similar to that? I do think we have to avoid double standardness in any scenarios. Since you agreed that the date format is better than the O2 Arena, is it a violation of the Guidelines and Regulations only because I changed the format that has been used consistently for the past 5 years?

With regards to the flag and country, I do have to highlight this to you that NOT everyone will know who Jonathan Lee is even in the Chinese community, so do you expect the non-Chinese community to know who Jonathan is WITHOUT clicking on his article page? In that case, the creation of "Country" column will certainly benefit the reader when he or she wants to save the necessity of having to click and juggle through the article to find out which country Jonathan comes from. The creation of flag may also potentially serves as a visual aid for readers who may have dyslyxsia when reading between lines of words. The flag will be very useful for them in that case. This contradicts to your argument that flag should not be used in the above-mentioned case. Just remember that all articles on Wikiepdia should be user-friendly to readers regardless of their background.

I do find it annoying offensive when another editor reverted back my edit unilaterally without giving a detailed elaboration. I recommend that you shall leave me a message in this talk page first before making any decision to revert back my changes after further discussions, thank you. - Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 10:56, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Flags - as stated before, these should not be added
Dates - I think you are misunderstand me about the dates. The existing date format (NOT your proposal) at Singapore Indoor Stadium is the correct one, so it will not be changed.
Country - as I have said, I do not think the country is helpful, but it is not against policy or guidelines
Unilateral reverting - I try not to do it, but when 4 of your 5 changes (Date format, linking years, linking dates and adding flags) area against the guidelines, there is very little to "discuss"
Furthermore, as required at WP:REVEXPI, I included a full explanation in the edit summary:-
"Rv changes to date format - it clearly states dmy at the top - linking years, contrary to WP:YEARLINK linking dates, contrary to WP:DATELINK and adding unnecessary flags"
Many editors do not explain the reasons for their revert, but that edit summary should be totally clear. - Arjayay (talk) 11:47, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

In that case, is it alright for me to simply split the "Artists" and "Tours" while adding "country" instead? I shall not add any flags in that case. Please allow me the permission to change the image of the Singapore Indoor Stadium as the current one is outdated. - Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 12:28, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

I don't have a problem with splitting the artists and tours into columns (although another editor might) or re-adding the countries (although I don't think it is useful) but the changes to date format, linking years, linking dates and flags are all against guidelines, so please do not reinstate these - Arjayay (talk) 12:50, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

The edit has been made, please check it again and inform me accordingly if I need to change anything so please do NOT revert my changes again. Otherwise, I wish to close the case as soon as possible. - Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 14:02, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi ‎Xinyang Aliciabritney - you are still linking the years, contrary to WP:YEARLINK - You should also read WP:OVERLINKING - "What generally should not be linked" which includes "The names of major geographic features and locations, languages, nationalities and religions" this is explained at WP:COMMONWORDS which includes "Do not link to the "United States", because that is an article on a very broad topic" - the same goes for most of the countries in your list - Arjayay (talk) 14:13, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

The hyperlinks for the "Year" and "Nationality of Artist" has already been removed, as instructed by you. - Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 14:25, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi ‎Xinyang Aliciabritney - I didn't "instruct" you, I just pointed out the guidelines - It now looks good to me. - Arjayay (talk) 14:30, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Thank you so much for your patience and guidance, I think that I have probably learnt something new from you today. Flags and hyperlinks shall not be added or inserted randomly at anytime as all of them should be bounded by a series of Guidelines and Regulations. The date format shall also not be changed as well in order to abide to the rules given by the Wikipedia.

Alright, is there anything else that I have left out? Otherwise thank you very much again and I wish you a nice day and a greater weekends ahead, God bless!! :) - Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 14:40, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi ‎Xinyang Aliciabritney - As I said above "It now looks good to me".
I'm still discovering new guidelines and policies, and I have over 94,000 edits in 8.5 years - I bookmark the important ones but still forget occasionally - Hopefully, we are all trying to improve the encyclopedia - so need to work together. Have a good weekend - Arjayay (talk) 14:51, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Dhama

Why do you keep changing the history I written about Dhama lalamusa Myladcuco (talk) 19:19, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi Myladcuco Thank you for your question.
As already explained on your talk page, your additions are against Wikipedia' verifiability policy.
Wikipedia articles should only cover to facts that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media.
Always provide a reliable source or your additions are likely to be removed. Please note you cannot include what you "know" or what you "have been told", and we do not allow original research
You are also adding the names of lots of people who are probably not notable in Wikipedia's meaning of the word - I can't tell as you have not cited any references. Saying someone is notable proves nothing - they must have received extensive coverage in independent, reliable, sources - Has a book been written about them? Has there been a article in an international magazine? Has there even been a half-page article in Khabraan?
if so they may be notable, but you must include full details of the book/magazine in your reference.
Wikipedia is a world-wide encyclopedia and the people you are adding may well be important in your village, but are probably not on a world scale. In general, a person should have a pre-existing Wikipedia article before being added to most lists. - Arjayay (talk) 07:43, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Bhatraju

Bro I think u need help in gathering information about bhatraju caste becoz ur knowledge is zero I can help uu u need reference for info I edited please Google what ever I wrote and what is ur caste finally Rannrahul (talk) 07:49, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Rannrahul - it is not up to ME to Google anything. It is up to YOU to provide the references, from reliable, independent, sources when you add anything to any article. We have particularly strict rules about this at caste articles such as Bhatraju
The specific policy, is at Wikipedia:Verifiability in particular WP:BURDEN:-
"All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution."
Please note, what you "know" and what you "have been told" are totally unacceptable, whilst most information from British Raj and Colonial Era books is also unacceptable.
Finally, any additions need to be in clear English, with the citations properly formatted as explained at Help:Referencing for beginners - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 08:09, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Yeah even u people didn't provide any reference or citation about caste all u have is bhatraju caste reservation In few states they don't describe anything about a caste Rannrahul (talk) 11:45, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Rannrahul There are three references to OBCs - if you want the article to say more then find some reliable sources - Arjayay (talk) 11:53, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Obc is backward classes not a caste in the page u have only described bhatraju belongs to obc but u no were mentioned what the caste is what is its Varna whether a brahmin or shudra Rannrahul (talk) 12:09, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Dear Arjayay, It's not an personal view on my edit of Loyola college

You don't even live in India to know about Loyola college. So please mind your work and don't reverse any of my edits.

It's an humble request Surajvtm (talk) 17:35, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Surajvtm Please do not put new posts in the middle of the page, but at the bottom with a proper header.
Phrases such as "one of the most prestigious institute in India" and "the most sought after institute in south India" are both unencyclopedic and unsourced, and as such have no place in Wikipedia.
Where I live is totally irrelevant, other than that it shows that I do not have any potential conflict of interest and can view your edits from a WP:Neutral point of view.
My warnings on your talk page stand, if you continue to break the NPOV policy you will probably be blocked. - Arjayay (talk) 17:58, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

You could try requests for page protection but looking at the page history, they may not think there has been sufficient disruption (yet)
Some of the additions are sourced (albeit 159 is not always a WP:RS it is cited in lots of articles) - Let's try keeping the sourced information - Arjayay (talk) 10:54, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

Sir,

I had made some changes on todoopura page and these changes are correct. I am a citizen of this village and Mr. Bharatlal Meena was ex- sarpanch of this village and he was famous person in this jagroti area and he was known for his justice and social works..... Meenaavatar (talk) 13:08, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi Meenaavatar - your comment appears to relate to a deletion I made to Todoopura about 6 months ago.
Please try to understand that "who" you are, "where" you are from, or what you "know", are all irrelevant when editing a Wikipedia article (unless you are too closely related the subject, in which case you would have a conflict of interest, so should not edit the article at all).
Wikipedia articles should only use information that has already been published in reliable sources, so that information can be verified, i.e. checked by readers at any time, and any point in the future.
You cannot claim that you "know" the information is correct, you have to prove that by citing suitable reliable sources,
The normal requirement for inclusion in a list of "Notable people" is that the person already has a Wkipedia article. and as Bharatlal Meena is a redlink, we know that we do not have such an article.
I am sure Bharatlal Meena was important in your village, but Wikipedia requires people to be "notable", which is slightly different from being famous, on a national or international level. If he was the subject of a book or major articles in national or international magazines or newspapers, he might be suitable subject for an article, but until that article has been written he should not be added as a "Notable" person. - Arjayay (talk) 13:58, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Your understanding of the copyright is wrong:
  • The forum software is under a public license, not the contributions to the forum but this is only secondary, because
  • The image posted there is not owned or verified to be owned by the poster. Quite the contrary, it has been verified as an image from IBNLive per this. All you have to do is to compare the dates of use.
It is never wise to use user submitted imagery to forums and discussion groups as almost always these are webgrabs. —SpacemanSpiff 07:32, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

Wrong as Zayn single

Check the album's page, Wrong impacts US radio as the third single on June 7th Source: http://www.allaccess.com/top40-rhythmic/future-releases — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.57.170.190 (talk) 04:04, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

We are not talking about "impacting songs" - it is already in the "Other charted songs" list - we are talking physical singles. We need a reference, from a reliable source, to show it has been physically released.
The Mind of Mine article only refers to an earlier version of the same "Impacting songs" article - and Wikipedia articles are not a reliable source - Arjayay (talk) 08:02, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

In america, artists dont release physical singles after an album is released, they impact radio since fans can already download them anyway. Hi Dweller
I deliberately named it, so that other editors know which website was being spammed. When I see such a post, I often add an "insource" search for that website to my "favorites", and then regularly check it, to see if there have been any further spamming attempts.
If you want to remove it, please do so, but I can't see it is "encouraging" them - Arjayay (talk) 12:41, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

TA REGGAETIKA (Dispero album)

Hello my friend Arjayay and thank you very much for your help . Can you change back from "Ta reggaetika" to "TA REGGAETIKA (Dispero album)" , cause all the album's names is like that and i don't know how to i change this :p .... If you see all the references the original names of Dispero albums is with capslock... thank youuu Natasha Pap (talk) 9:05, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi Natasha Pap, thanks for your post.
Wikipedia does not use all capital titles for articles - please see Wikipedia:Article titles and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization) - we are not interested in what the band or their publishers use. All uses of TA REGGAETIKA in the article, should also be changed to Ta Reggaetika, and all the other albums need to have their block capitals removed, from both their titles and within the articles.
As for the "(Dispero album)" after the title, this was removed by another editor, as we only have one article Ta Reggaetika so do not need the disambiguation, as it cannot be confused with any other album - again this is true for all the other albums, even Man vs Woman, as no-one else has used that title - as is shown by the fact that the link is red. - Arjayay (talk) 07:01, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Ok thank you very much Arjayay , one more question , now at the top of the picture (album) say "Untitled" can you fix it? thank you Natasha Pap (talk) 10:53, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Incorrect information on Neha Pendse wiki page removed

Hi,

Neha pendse's page had incorrect info on her television details. She is not playing any role in 'Ghup Chupp' serial on Sab TV. I have deleted the entry on her wiki page and also on 'Ghup Chupp' wiki page. The actress was not happy to see incorrect info about her on the pages.

I see that you do not like incorrect info on wiki. Am glad to know that. So could you please confirm me that these details which I have removed from both pages are approved by wiki .?

Thanks, Janet Janetdianad (talk) 14:46, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

Hi Janetdianad - Wikipedia doesn't "approve" of anything, but aims to base its articles on what has been stated in Independent reliable sources - you removed the unsourced material, and (so far) no-one has reinserted it. If, however, reliable sources are provided, to show that the information is true, then that information will be added. I have both pages on my watchlist, so will notice if changes are made.
I edited Neha Pendse after you, as you had broken the table by removing the closing bracket. I also edited Gupp Chupp as the article has no references, and as an upcoming TV programme is not notable until it has aired and received critical appraisal.
From your comments, it appears that you are connected to Neha Pendse in some way, be that as an employee, employer, adviser or close friend. Please note that this means you have a conflict of interest so should not be editing the Neha Pendse page, or any others relating to her. If you wish to suggest changes, please do so on the talk page of the relevant article, citing independent, reliable sources to support your proposed changes. Please note that interviews she has given, her website, press releases, her PR and management company etc. are not independent sources. - Arjayay (talk) 15:48, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

La Palma

In Tenerife there are other higher apart from the Teide mountain. La Palma is the second highest island in general.--88.10.67.73 (talk) 19:31, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your post, I understand what you man, but that is difficult to explain without using lots of words - "second more altitude island", which is what you changed it to, isn't English, "second highest island in general", as you said above, would be an average height - I've changed it to "the peaks of the Teide massif on Tenerife" - this covers all the peaks in the centre of Tenerife. - Arjayay (talk) 06:56, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

Emily Bear

Please take back what you did .I did not want to put any external links bit I had no choice. Every time I tried to put youtube in the footnotes some bots reacted and took bac.k If you want you can put each external link in the footnotes. See my german article version. There are no external lnks. All thiese links make sense. And I know the topic - really know the topic!!!.I updated the article with the best possible excact! information avalable worldwide - no joke.

I put many more information in.

Every link - also my external lnks ( please put them in the footnotes if you want) proof thinks.

The old version - the version you restored - sorry to say - is very old and nearly trash.

As I said I know the topic!

Every link I made, made sense - even every youtube link. These were the most exact youtube links you can find around the world - thats really no joke! Even when they were not from official aacount the artist herself! approved the uploader ro record and to upload. I know the persons!

If you want put your may put name under my work and get the fame. Or someone else. Or someone rewrite all my information. And I make the proofreading.

The most simple solution would be to restore my version and put all the links in footnotes.

Here 2 examples why youtube is needed.

Emily Bear explained in an interview with Dennis Green why jazz fits her more "classical,is like putting a saddle on a wild horse" Shevuses thisvphrase - and I think itsca central phrase -.fisrt time in this interview. But its only on youtube -.uploaded by Dennis Green himself.

In the SWR interview with Pierre Krause she tell that she is bored when asked about all this prodigy treating. - central, aspect!!! But its only on youtube - official account of SWR. There was a media library link but it exporedvafterva year. But SWR still, have itbon their youtube account.

Many central interviews of many artists are only on youtube - I cannot change it!!! please put the links and information bsck. Imam very

thoughtfull about putting links, proof — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eifelochse (talkcontribs) 18:25, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Greetings drom Germany. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eifelochse (talkcontribs) 17:17, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Hi Eifelochse, thank you for your post, but as I have tried to explain, we NEVER put External links into the bodytext of articles.
The bot was quite right to remove them from the external links section - YouTube is very rarely an appropriate, or reliable, source for information.
Interviews are not generally considered reliable sources - we are not very interested in what Emily Bear, says about herslf, we are only interested in what reliable, independent sources say about her.
The rules on the English Wikipedia are slightly different from those on the German, but you need to avoid ANY external links in the bodytext, and avoid interviews, be they on YouTube or anywhere else.
I also note you say that you say "I know the persons" does this mean you have a conflict of interest? in which case you should not be editing the article at all/ - Arjayay (talk) 18:55, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Sorry to say, that is - really sorry trash. I studied history. Every prof would throw you out of his seminar if you handle things like this. Oh its not alllowed to cite a speech of Abraham Lincoln or his letters . Secondary sources are not reliable if they not cite first sources. wikipedia is a secondary source its no discussion board, fan foum, blog or something else. People around thevworld use it as a secondary source. But a secondary source which cites only secondary sources is trash. You realize I know what I I am doing ;) If Lincoln would live today and his Gettysburg adress would only be available on youtube, no we are not allowed to link it - oh there was some audience - let them explain - hahaha, very reliable. It were interviews with Emily Bear with serious journalists. Oh cnn interviews Obama but we are not allowed to,link for proof.

I am not a fan of youtube either - all the blocking here in Germany, kind of kindergarden etc. etc.

But we live in 2016 - if the first source, its the only reliable to discus, is on youtube, you have to - no discussion about - really have to link it. I know that I am not able to change the politics and rules of english wikipedia - but in this case they are trash.

If the first source is on vimeo etc. the same.

Again we live in 2016 - videos are first sources. They are cited in dissertations. But in English wikipedia not - perhaps you should discuss your rules ;)

Btw. I have no conflict of interest. I don't get any money or whatsoever. I was extremely carefull not to be look like promoting. Just facts. I paid attention to this topic but also other Quincy Jones musicians for some years know, so I simply know the facts. In the one concert video e.g. I know the person who recorded it and uploaded it, knows that he asked before recording and putting on youtube. As it should be in thevagevof internet piratry.

Greetings from Germany

Hi Eifelochse, I'm sorry if you do not like "the rules" but that is what they are.
As you say "videos are first sources" but WP:Primary sources are not what Wikipedia wants, so these are unacceptable.
Unfortunately, people cannot be relied on to tell the truth, particularly in politics and the entertainment industry (if there is any difference).
I was at university with a musician, who was 2 months older than me, until he became a "pop-star" when he was suddenly 3 years younger than me.
There is little point in "fighting the system", accept it and do what you can within the rules - Arjayay (talk) 20:12, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Thats not scientific argument. Like this you cannot believe anything, politicians ec. The tools of social sciences are based on the rules I explained. There are msny selb- biographies of politicians etc. Yes they are priblrmatic but you have to cite them. In the sencond step - in the discussion -you may find disapprooving first sources. In the moment Lincolns letters are no more reliable then Emily Beaes inteeview. Btw. why should she lie? In the moment english wikipedia is because of its rules no reliable secondary source and shoul be closed because of fraud. That is no joke. Every P.D. would loose his title and reputation by working like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eifelochse (talkcontribs) 20:23, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Oh ai looked at sour artickes e.g. Christmas at the Patti - were is there any seious proof any details you mebtion in the article. Witout proof they are fairytales. But I give upon English wikipedia. But you habe to kniw peolple cite you - ridicilous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eifelochse (talkcontribs) 22:49, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

sorry this was an interview feature - my fault - but if you looked at the concrete link you would have seen it. So I will change it into an interview sesion before the New Haven concert and during reheaesals at Yale University. Btw. how do you decide if someone is notewothy without even looking at it. BTW . did you proof in the meantime your article Christmas at the Patti, only allmusic link, this article of you and other aricles should be deleted.

Re: Chitral Edit

Dear Mr Arjayay,

First of all, I haven't entered any spam link. The page which was being edited by me is about Chitral which is my hometown. I think I know better about my own hometown than you. I know which is the right information to be entered on that page. You people have entered chitral.gov.pk as an official link which is a dead-link.

Providing external links for the websites which provide further information on that Topic is not a crime. I request you to restore my editing-s as I have not provided any spam link as you have mentioned in your message. Respect the opinion of others.

Regards, Umair Haider from Chitral Umrhdr (talk) 09:12, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

Umrhdr - as can clearly be seen on your talk page, you have been repeatedly warned about adding such spam links over several years.
We NEVER add external links into the body text of an article, and only very limited External links should be added into the WP:External links section.
The fact that Chitral is your hometown is totally irrelevant, indeed, it may make it more difficult for you to approach the article from a Neutral point of view and you may even have a Conflict of interest.
It is not for you, or any editor, to judge what is "the right information", it is for every editor to follow the rules and guidelines. - Arjayay (talk) 09:28, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

Regarding my edits on the Dir clan page

I removed the affiliation and myth regarding as to Dir being the father in law of Darood since several sources state Hawiye to be of the daughter which Darod married. [1][2][3]. Although now I just explained that some sources regard Hawiye to be the father in law of Darood.

The etymology revolving around Dire Dhabe I did not source, but the settlement being called after Dir I sourced.

The first 2 sentences were basically repeating Dir and Hawiye's ancestry so I combined the 2. Why brackets were used around the ancestor Samaale is weird? - - AbwaanRooble 16:44, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi AbwaanRooble thanks for your post.
Myths are always difficult to deal with as as myths cannot be "right" or "wrong", so reliable sources can only report different versions of a myth, and/or competing myths.
Please use edit summaries to describe your changes, particularly if you have deleted anything - of your 25 edits to Dir (clan) in 2016, only 6 have edit summaries. - Arjayay (talk) 17:06, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for understanding Arjayay and with small edits I tend to forget/skip edit summaries, but will do from now on - AbwaanRooble 17:29, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi AbwaanRooble I had trouble remembering edit summaries in my early days, so I turned on the prompt (under Preferences - Editing - tick "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary") - this is a nuisance initially, but I soon got used to it. Currently, of my 100,022 live edits 99,996 have a summary - Arjayay (talk) 17:57, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the valuable tip Arjayay - AbwaanRooble 19:35, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

Re: TVBS Edit

Dear Mr Arjayay,

First of all, I did not mean to change or cross out what you have done to TVBS. I wanna thank You for your contribution to TVBS. But as i know and i have researched for a very long time about TVBS, the content here are out of date. I just try to help you to make everything correctly. So would you please don't undo my editing about TVBS. I will be very appreciated.

Best Regards, Jerrymonkey

Jerrymonkey (talk) 11:45, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Jerrymonkey Thanks for your post.
ALL material added to, or altered in, ANY Wikipedia article must be verifiable by references to reliable sources. Please see referencing for beginners for how to do this.
The reason your additions were deleted, was that NONE of your additions had ANY references whatsoever.
This has repeatedly been explained to you on your talk-page, - you have made 8 edits to articles, and received 7 warnings, but you have ignored all those warnings.
If you add unsourced material, to TVBS or any other article, the material will be deleted and you are likely to be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 07:20, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

CiCi Bellis

What is your problem with CiCi Bellis. I wrote that she was my daughter. I am her Father.

The original entries of her Junior Career were not made by me. I edited them. She wants them included. No other Junior Tennis Player has any footnotes on their junior career. i can include twenty zillion footnotes all referencing her ITF record — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lydian64 (talkcontribs) 16:47, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

Lydian64 I have no "problem" with CiCi Bellis - I only try to keep articles within Wikipedia's rules
As already explained at Wikipedia:Help desk#CiCi Bellis entries
  1. CiCi Bellis is NOT your "daughter's Wikipedia page" it is Wikipedia's page about your daughter
  2. We have no interest in what she (or you) wants included - we will include/exclude material in accordance with Wikipedias rules and guidelines
  3. As her mother/father, you have a very clear conflict of interest, so should not be editing her page at all, but suggesting changes, supported by reliable sources at Talk:CiCi Bellis
  4. Accounts should not be shared, so one of you will need to make another account, and both these accounts should declare your conflict of interest
  5. Most of the material you keep adding is unsourced, so whether it is true or not, it cannot be verified which is one of Wikipedias principal policies
  6. It is not up to others to provide the sources, the burden is on whoever adds, or in your case wants to add, the material to provide the references.
  7. Some of the additions you have made are not from a Neutral point of view with words like "accomplished", "prestigious", "stellar form", "swept aside" and " convincing fashion"
  8. Comparison with other articles is not a valid argument on Wikipedia as other stuff exists we aim to copy the best articles, not the worst
As I have said before - Please read and follow our policy on editing with a conflict of interest here. - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 17:04, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

My Edits

Hi Mr Arjyay

Either you add article on Nepal and Nepali people or donot interfere my edits. Those people who donot have Wikipedia articles like Shivaram Singh Basnyat, Kehar Singh Basnyat are highly distinguished personalities in History. A Nepali knows more about it than others. I didnt like it being taught about my things.

Humble Regards Thapa Kaazi999 Thapa Kazi999 (talk) 12:46, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Thapa Kazi999
The Wikipedia rules are quite clear, any additions or alterations to an article need to verifiable by citing reliable sources. Almost every addition you have made has been unreferenced, and the two references I have seen, were Wikipedia, and a blog, neither of which are reliable sources, so cannot be used.
The template I added about Notable people is a standard Wikipedia template, used to explain the principle of "No article = No inclusion", not something I made up.
If you think these people are "notable" enough, in Wikipedia's meaning of the word (See WP:BIO) then please write the article first - Once the article has been accepted, they can be added to the lists. - Arjayay (talk) 13:00, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Mr. Arjyay Would you please help me to create Wikipedia Pages?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thapa Kazi999 (talkcontribs) 13:13, 8 September 2016 (UTC) And Also how can I provide reference to Widely Accepted Stories, Oral Facts, Ancestral Sayings. Of those all did I edited were above types. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thapa Kazi999 (talkcontribs) 13:17, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Thapa Kazi999
I am always willing to help, but name articles often overlap with castes and tribes which are among the most difficult and argued about, and Wikipedia's rules in this area are even more complex.
You ask how to you provide references to "Widely Accepted Stories, Oral Facts, Ancestral Sayings." This is particularly difficult and arises in many parts of the world (Indigenous peoples of the Americas, (Native Americans in the United States, Inuitetc) and Indigenous Australians) not just the Indian subcontinent including Nepal and Bhutan.
Perhaps the best example is Australian Aboriginal mythology, where there was only an oral tradition, but this has been researched by academics and published in books and professional journals. These are then considered "Reliable sources" and can be cited. I do not know what research has been done into Nepali tradition, but many old texts, especially those over 100 years old, were not well researched, and some were sensationalized, to help book sales.
Creating an article is difficult and I would advise you to edit existing articles for a time, to understand Wikipedia's rules, guidelines and code
The best way o create new pages is to read Your first article and then use Wikipedia:Articles for creation this enables other users to help with the article before it appears in the main encyclopedia. Some editors find this frustrating, as they want to see the real article as soon as possible, but it is not as frustrating as having your article completely deleted for not meeting the various rules,
Please note that I am in the UK (current time UTC+1) and there may be delays (somedays I cannot edit at all), as I also have to work. - Arjayay (talk) 14:12, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Mr. Arjayay I started to provide reference and follow Wiki rules as you said and also after I knew Wikipedia rules. And time and again you have been checking and deleting my works. I decided to give it up. Its like a Police Thief Story. Im giving up for making edits. It is not for commoners to contribute some things to wikipedia as such strict and too much rules. I began to edit when Information on Nepal and Nepali people were too little. To prevent volatility of Oral Stories and Traditions I had made edits. Now God knows wherever gets these stories disappeared. Thanks for teaching me. From today I will not make you to delete and check out my edits. Im leaving the work of these little bit of editing. As I explained in my first post "any additions or alterations to an article need to verifiable by citing reliable sources." However, you keep citing the same blog, which is not a reliable source, and so cannot be used. - Arjayay (talk) 09:16, 9 September 2016 (UTC) I cited was of scholar Mr Bijay Kuikel's website on the Gotras of most Nepali Brahman Chhetris.
