That was a sock, just not who you think it was. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Iniced. Same thing with User:Dotheclearing. As far as I can tell, the only page Iniced and Fangusu have intersected on is Love Me, Love My Mouse. Of course, all that really matters is sockpuppets get blocked, but I thought you might be interested in knowing who the actual sockmaster in this case was. Sro23 (talk) 01:45, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
"Very mixed"
Hi Arjayay, firstly, I think you're strong editor, and it's nice to have you around. I don't think I pay enough compliments around here, so I want you to know that I think you're definitely a good egg. Moving on, re: this a quick note: I removed the critical response summaries from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, because they're not adequately supported. Per MOS:FILM, we need to attribute a summary of critical response to reliable sources. It's not good for us to summarize critical response ourselves for a few reasons:
- If we summarize the reviews that are in the article, we run the risk of confirming someone else's selection bias. If a marketing team only added good reviews to the article, then we came by and said, "the film received mostly positive reviews", I'm sure you can understand how that would be a problem.
- If we try to pick the reviews ourselves, then summarize that selection, we might be confirming our own bias. If I hated the film and consciously/unconsciously picked negative reviews, I'd wind up concluding that the film received negative reviews. That's a problem too.
- Even if a good editor came by and picked a balanced selection of positive and negative reviews, we might come by and interpret that as mixed, when in fact the overall response might have been positive or negative.
Anyway, there was no attempt to attribute the summary to a reliable source. The only source I saw was this, which says nothing about critical reception.
I'll also note that "very mixed" is kinda meaningless. "Mixed" means that film received both positive and negative reviews, so what would "very mixed" mean? That it received LOTS of positive and negative reviews? It doesn't improve our understanding. Mixed is mixed. This is also why WikiProject Film dislikes the phrasing "mixed to positive" and "mixed to negative", because those terms are also meaningless. If mixed means "positive and negative", then "mixed to positive" means "positive and negative to positive". What? Anyway, I'm sure you can see my point, so I'll leave you alone. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:42, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Edit of Raiganj
Thanks for your help in wiki uploads. But I didn't copy the article regarding Tulaipanji Rice and the content is also different from the source and I addes citation too. Why my edit was reverted? Paulsubhojit (talk) 09:38, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
- Paulsubhojit Although you say you did not copy it, large sections of your addition were word for word the same as the article I referenced in the edit summary
In addition the article is about Raiganj, not Tulaipanji Rice. As you well know the rice has its own article, mentioning that Tulaipanji Rice is grown there may be acceptable, the reader can then look it up if they wish to, but repeating so much of that article looks like a WP:COATRACK addition.
Are you trying to promote Tulaipanji Rice? - Arjayay (talk) 09:46, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing out my flaws. I have re inserted those section by mentioning proper sources of information. Paulsubhojit (talk) 09:28, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Paulsubhojit - Not bad, but you cannot use Wikipedia as a reference, because it is not a reliable source. Please replace those uses of Wikipedia with a reliable, external, source. Edit requests
Hi, I submitted an edit request for the page https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Karren_Brady yesterday at 17:22, which you responded to five minutes later and denied as the request was not submitted correctly. I then submitted the request, plus a second one, correctly, but have had no response. Can you please advise. Thank you. Spen79 (talk) 13:32, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

No response to formal edit request
Good morning, I am hoping that you can respond to my query as a matter of urgency. On Sunday, January 8, at 17:22hrs, I submitted a formal edit request in order to correct some factual errors on the following semi-protected page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Karren_Brady I received a response five minutes later from you, explaining that my request was denied as the request had not been submitted using the correct process. I subsequently re-submitted the request correctly, plus a second request, but have since received no further response, despite leaving a message on your Talk page and another on the page of user Egghead06, who I believe was responsible for originally switching the page to semi-protected. The factual corrections submitted were supported by links to several reliable sources confirming their authenticity, and I would be grateful if someone could contact me as soon as possible to confirm when the requests will be processed. Many thanks Wikipedia User: Spen79

- Spen79 This had already been done by another editor, before I got to it.
Please note - on Wikipedia, almost nothing is "a matter of urgency", please see There is no deadline.
We are all volunteers, and trying to hound a volunteer to do things faster may result in them deciding not to do it at all.
Why is this edit so urgent? Do you have a conflict of interest? If so please read, and follow, WP:COI - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 14:42, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Dear we can't use former cast table here because the show hasn't been yet started on air. You people sitting so far please don't tell us what to do. when you don't even know a bit I am undoing your edit. Raza Murad has left the show go and search the web. Popularistam 17:52, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- User:Popularistam - It is NOT up to me to "search the web", the WP:BURDEN is entirely on YOU to provide a Reliable source where the information can be verified. If there is any truth in your claim "Raza Murad has left the show" - you must have obtained that from somewhere - assuming that was a reliable source you must cite it, or else stop altering the article.

Languages of India
Hi, your Edit was helpful in stabilizing! Thank you.
I was curious why the order should have Hindi before English. Considering how even Art. 343 of Constitution of Republic of India, describes that English has been and will continue to remain an Official Language of the Union (or Central Government). A principle then renewed by the Official Languages Act, 1963 which ensured English remained the primary official language even after the proposed period of fifteen years, and continued to be the grand old official Language of India. Before Hindi was considered, and proposed for an official role being included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India too apart from mention in Art. 343, which it never attained due to Official Languages Act, 1963.
Further, the most significant "Official" document the Constitution which is applicable to both the "Union" and the "States" which might have separate official language respectively, is also in English.
110.227.108.193 (talk) 21:38, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- The Languages of India article suffers from excessive language warring, editors promoting their language, and/or demoting others. People from the southern states of India, often demote Hindi, presumably as they feel increased use of Hindi will marginalise their local languages. There has, therefore, been a tradition of maintaining the "stable" order on the page.
If you wish the order to be reconsidered, you should make your suggestion, with reasons (as above), at Talk:Languages of India. This can then be discussed and consensus reached on retaining the existing, or changing, the order. If consensus is to change, the article will be re-ordered and the discussion will be used to support the "new" stable version. - Arjayay (talk) 09:28, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you.
(I am not well informed about what opposition to the imposition of Hindi in the Central Government's activities might exist in the southern states of India, but there is a strong movement due to the linguistic identity in the eastern and north eastern states of India too. The strength of some of which can be gauged from Language Martyrs' Day.)
Sincerely,
110.227.108.193 (talk) 16:23, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you.
The contents you restored are not needed and I removed them. The "history" section already talks about former services that served that line. We do not need to put them in the "Extent and Services" section. Also, many other services have served other lines in the past. For example, the V and N also served the IND Queens Boulevard Line, the Q and K served the Sixth Avenue Line, the M and W used to serve the BMT Fourth Avenue Line, the B and W used to service the BMT West End Line, the 1 and 2 used to serve the IRT New Lots Line, the C used to serve the IND Concourse Line, the Q and R used to serve the BMT Astoria Line and so forth. Unless you plan on going to every one of those line articles and put in historical services, there should be no reason these two should have them.
- In regards to the above comment written by 67.84.106.200 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), I tend to agree with their removals, if only because these information are already sourced in the "history" section of each line's article, and the "extent and service" sections of these pages only talk about the current services. epicgenius (talk) 22:50, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for your edits
Hey Thanks a lot for your help. I am facing constant harassment by an IP hopper who is disrupting other Indian defense related pages as well. You can get a list of those pages from my contributions. Adamgerber80 (talk) 17:50, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Adamgerber80 - I've added a selection of those pages to my watchlist - hopefully this will give some leads, but almost all the IPs you have recently reverted have 5 edits or fewer, making tracking them across multiple articles quite difficult - I am also no military expert - Arjayay (talk) 18:06, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Yes the IP uses a VPN and hops IP's making it very difficult to track. Some other pages you might want to match are Sashastra Seema Bal, Defence Intelligence Agency (India), Pinaka multi barrel rocket launcher, Rajput-class destroyer. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 19:04, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Assam → Asom
Arjayay, I just wanted to change the "Assam" word to "Asom"[1] in the article Assam . Why you termed it as "Vandalism" ? (talk)debananda nath 09:32, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Debanandanath - Wikipedia uses the COMMON NAME in English, which is Assam, we do not use the "local" or "official" name.
By changing things like List of governors of Assam to List of governors of Asom, or List of Chief Ministers of Assam to List of Chief Ministers of Asom or List of constituencies of Assam Legislative Assembly to List of constituencies of Asom Legislative Assembly, you break all the links, so people cannot find the relevant articles.
I see you have changed this again, and been reverted again, please follow our policies and guidelines and leave it as Assam - Thank-you- Arjayay (talk) 11:16, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Tata Institute of Social Sciences

Firstly, please put new posts at the bottom of the page, including a section title and Please sign all posts on talk pages with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp.
Secondly, what I "know" or what you "know" about the Ho people is totally irrelevant - Wikipedia is not at all interested in what people "know", Wikipedia is only interested in reporting what published reliable sources have already said about a subject.
Thirdly, all information added to an article should be Verifiable by providing citations to reliable sources so the information can be checked, by anyone else, at any point in the future. The WP:Burden for providing these sources is on the person adding the information, and any unsupported information can be removed in accordance with the Wikipedia guidelines already mentioned.
- As I have suggested in both my edit summaries and on your talk page, you should read, and follow Help:Referencing for beginners.
Please do not re-add, or add further unsupported information, as this will be deleted, and, if you continue to do this, you are likely to be blocked from editing - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 12:22, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
ELs
Where can I find the prohibition of having ELs in the bodytext? I need a version of Wiki for Dummies! It's too bad that the only possible sourcing that might respond to what the citation demands is prohibited! @Arjayay: Jzsj (talk) 20:12, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

- Hi Nikhilrajn - As stated in my edit summary it was deleted because it was "Totally unsourced"
Everything added to Wikipedia needs to be verifiable by providing citations to reliable sources
- You added the channel owner, the start date, the Chairman and The Managing Director without any references
You then claimed it is "the leading channel in Malayalam" and claimed all shows have "celebrity presence" - both claims would need very good sources, as we do not allow promotional claims or puffery.
Finally you listed "prominant serials" and a "best serial award in the year 2015" again without any sources.

Was was this reverted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.139.153.2 (talk) 16:11, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
- I have already explained this at User talk:12.139.153.2 at 15:43, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
Highlander is a disambiguation page - an index of articles, - however Marin Highlanders or Marin Highlanders RFC does not have an article, so should not be included in an index of articles.
Furthermore, as also explained, External links, such as Marin Highlanders RFC, which link to a website, should not be included in the bodytext of articles, or disambiguation pages. - Arjayay (talk) 16:29, 20 February 2017 (UTC)

- Hello IP from Los Angeles
If there is little information, then little can be said, because our articles can only include what has already been published in reliable sources, which need to be cited when the information is added.
I am not sure why you say that you cannot get an account - you are currently editing from a dynamic Time Warner Cable IP - and although the abuse log for that IP here shows that there have been a number of problematic edits, but the IP has never been blocked.
As for writing a new article - I only write articles on subjects I know about - please read WP:Your first article and use the Wikipedia:Article wizard - Arjayay (talk) 18:28, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

2.) How do I add pictures in an article?-76.174.35.70 (talk) 03:48, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hello again IP from Los Angeles - I still don't understand why you don't open an account, but to answer your questions:-
- "Is there a way to recover my edits"
- Every edit to an article is saved in the article's history, ("View history" tab at the top) you can look at, and copy test from, any old version - including the wiki-mark up if you click edit on an old page. If you edit and save an old version, you will over-write any subsequent edits, so your changes are likely to be considered vandalism.
Please do not just re-add the text you used before and stick one reference at the end. Every part of the text you add needs its own reference, which should be added at the same time as the text, and these should be formatted as explained in Help:Referencing for beginners.
- "How do I add pictures in an article?"
- Images are very complicated - please read User:Yunshui/Images for beginners for an overview - the most important points are:-
- Most images on the Web, in magazines or books, are copyright and cannot be used in Wikipedia. If you did not take the picture yourself, it is probably not one that Wikipedia can use. Wikipedia takes WP:COPYRIGHT issues very seriously.
- If you want to upload an image from your computer for use in an article, you must determine the proper license of the image (or whether it is in the public domain). If you know the image is public domain or copyrighted but under a suitable free-license, upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead of here, so that all projects have access to the image. If you are unsure of the licensing status, see the file upload wizard for more information - But as an IP you cannot upload files to en.wikipedia. Please also read Wikipedia's image use policy.

My article for the South Korean Band, "M. Street" has been submitted for review. What now?76.174.35.70 (talk) 14:59, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- You wait - as it says "This may take a week or more." I am not a new article reviewer, so I can't help - but you can carry-on improving the article whilst it is in the queue.
Two comments:-
- As stated at MOS:ITALIC Major works such as albums should be in italics, like this, whilst minor works, such as songs and singles should be in quotes "like this".
- You have divided the discography into Albums, Singles and Single Albums - I don't know what a Single Album is - is this the Korean for what we would call an Extended play usually known as an EP? i.e. more than 3 tracks, or 30 minutes long, but not a full album? If so you should clarify this. EPs are formatted in italics like albums - so if the EP is known by the same name as the title track, we can tell whether you are talking about the track, or the whole EP, by whether it is in quotes or italics.
- Good luck with the review - Arjayay (talk) 15:32, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
Sadly, it was declined, bcuz apparently, i didnt have enough citations. As for the single albums, ill try to explain in case you see it again. A single album is two different things: a track with an instrumental version (Ex: Kiss Kiss by Ladies Code,) or it is an album with 3-4 tracks (ex: Warrior by B.A.P.) What did you think of the body paragraphs of my article? (Career, suicide of Seohyun, and the last section?)76.174.35.70 (talk) 02:34, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi there from Portugal,
if you notice, I am actually trying to improve the article, it's the creator (User:Jbindoma) who has created a page that has no business existing because player has not yet appeared in a single pro game. The text is also ripe with unref'd POV and very poor English, which I will fix later.
Oh, and the player name is definitely not MANUEL HERRERA LÓPEZ, that's his full name, if you don't let me insert his sporting name (just check his BDFUTBOL profile, Spanish site), at least shorten it to MANUEL HERRERA.
Attentively, happy editing --193.137.135.2 (talk) 14:50, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think i was unpolite or aggressive in my original message, but fair enough, no reply. I have finished cleaning the piece up now, if you still think the other guy's version is better please revert me again. And i repeat, as of now this is an open and shut case of AFD, as the player does not meet WP:NOTABILITY; ah, and pretty much all the refs (and the LINKS) say his football name is "Súper", but OK, "Manuel Herrera" (and even more, if you want to reinsert the "López" bit) stays.
Attentively (note: the first IP is me editing from work, this one from home. Not trying to avoid anything by IP-hopping, only have these two) --85.242.133.151 (talk) 17:38, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Formatting on Chi Pu article
Hello there, As I'm sure you have seen, I have been working on editing the Chi Pu article. I am new to editing on Wikipedia and I appreciate your alteration and/or reversion of my edits when they are inappropriate. I see that you noted the format of titles in one of your previous edits on the page. Would you be able to tell me the formatting guidelines regarding the titles of awards? I noted that some award titles in the article are italicized while others are left unformatted. If this is an issue for which a Wiki guideline page exists, I would really appreciate your guidance through a link to that article. If not, please let me know what the proper formatting guidelines are, as I can see you are very involved with this article, as well as Wikipedia in general. Thanks Incurbust (talk) 01:06, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Incurbust - thanks for your post.
The general guidance is Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Text formatting (shortcut MOS:TEXT) - but this does not mention awards at all. I have looked for advice elsewhere, but cannot find any.
I assume you are referring to the edit summary I added "format - songs in quotes but albums, films + series in italics". This is based on the Italic text section of the MOS:TEXT page (Shortcut MOS:ITALIC) which states that italics should be used for "Major works of art and artifice, such as albums, books, video games, films, musicals, operas, symphonies, paintings, sculptures, newspapers, journals, magazines, epic poems, plays, television programs, radio shows" but "Minor works (and any specifically-titled subdivisions of italicized major works) are given in double quotation marks"
In the lack of specific guidance, the first principle should be consistency, they should all be the same. Personally, I would avoid italics, but that is just my personal preference, not a guideline, but please do not use bold, as that would contravene MOS:BOLDFACE. - Arjayay (talk) 11:28, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Revert ?
May I know what caused you to revert my edits on Hyderabad ? I just corrected GDP ranking of Hyderabad (from third- to fifth- to fifth or sixth) as per the already defined sources (PwC rank Hyderabad as sixth, Brookings rank Hyderabad as sixth and the Safe Water Network mention Hyderabad as fifth largest city contributor to India). What is wrong in my edits. Just correcting to what the sources mention. Vibhss (talk) 15:01, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, Vibhss my mistake - I have now read the talk-page and just went in to revert myself and had an edit conflict with you reverting me - Apologies again - Arjayay (talk) 15:05, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Arjayay: It's OK. GDP of Indian cities has been a much discussed topic on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Indian Economy in the result of which it was being agreed to use "range of GDP" as per estimates of different sources (because those estimates varied greatly). This also resulted in using a kind of range for GDP ranking also. Vibhss (talk) 15:24, 9 March 2017 (UTC)

Warning vandals
Hi! Thank you for removing vandalism on Xbox Live. In the future, could you also leave a warning (in the form of for example {{uw-vandalism1}}) on the vandals' talk page? That makes it easier for other editors to keep track of the amount of vandalism committed by the vandal, and it gives a stronger argument for administrators to block them from editing. Thanks! I would be grateful if the changes made to the Tottenham Hotspur season 2006-07 page are not reversed, as the edits made today provide more detailed information than the older version (which was not detailed enough). The page was deleted by User:DGG who you could ask, however, as it was deleted as "Unambiguous advertising", they may well refuse to do so.
As I recall (I can't see the page, or the page history) vast amounts of non-encyclopedic, promotional, information such as course content and admission criteria were being added, and re-added. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, NOT the place to advertise a college and paste its prospectus.
I suspect you have a conflict of interest, so should not be editing that article in any case. Uebert Angel
Hi @Arjay I have an issue with some edits on Uebert Angel page can you please assist? The article is not fair. Some of the facts are backed by unreliable sources and bogus online newspapers. Especially the article being used to justify that Uebert Angel was known as Mudzanire. The article itself is a lie. Uebert Angel has a finance degree from Salford University. He is an anointed man of God. Would it not be fair to expand this article in a better way as a biography because at the moment it's not saying much on there. Its surprising how everyone there is trying to argue about him being named Mudzanire before but no one cares to expand the article. Buna21 (talk) 13:30, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Buna21 - I don't know why, as your very first edit, you have chosen to ask me about Uebert Angel - an article I have never edited, and know nothing about. Mistakes
The GDP is not at all correct that what You are editing. It is a long back gdp Sai krishna 98 (talk) 15:44, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sai krishna 98 it is far better that we have a slightly older, but accurate, figure; than one from a source that is not reliable. This was explained to you on 21 March, above. You seem unduly concerned about these figures - so the WP:BURDEN is on you to find a more recent reliable source that is acceptable. To keep re-adding an unreliable source is disruptive editing/vandalism. If you continue these re-additions you are likely to be blocked, so please don't - Arjayay (talk) 16:00, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

- Sai krishna 98 none of your links work, so we have no idea what the references say, or even if they are real.
They certainly do not WP:Verify the information you have added, which should, therefore, be deleted.
Please read Help:Referencing for beginners and provide links to the precise pages that you are trying to cite, not the front page of a site such as www.trak.in. Arjayay (talk) 18:52, 27 March 2017 (UTC)- I see that another editor, User:Mlpearc, has already deleted your additions to Surat for precisely that reason - your "references" do not support the "information" that you keep re-adding - Arjayay (talk) 18:58, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
Urgent reply needed
I didn't understand what is your reply.I have a reference given by Arun prabhu Desai.Even you are changing the content repeatedly. And the next point is why are you not deleting the word 8th [vizag is the 8th largest economy]even your article is saying vizag is in 10th place. At last, give a reply about this matter. Sai krishna 98 (talk) 13:42, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sai krishna 98 - As I have repeatedly explained, on this page, on your talk page, and in my edit summaries, you are NOT adding references - you are adding a collection of letters which are NOT references as they do not link directly to the website page where you found the information. We cannot, therefore, verify that the information is correct, so, as one of our fundamental rules is that all information has to be verifiable, we cannot keep your additions that in the article.
These are Wikipedia's rules, not my rules, and other very experienced editors, such as User:Mlpearc, User:Vin09 and User:Davey2010 have all reverted your additions for the same reason.
As I suggested above, please read Help:Referencing for beginners and provide links to the precise pages that you obtained your information from. Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 14:00, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
Sorry
I am extremely sorry if I hurt you.Sorry for disturbing Sai krishna 98 (talk) 16:22, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sai krishna 98 - Thank you for your apology, which I accept. Please be careful with your edits in future, as your Talk-page includes three final warnings. - Arjayay (talk) 09:46, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
Reason
Visakhapatnam article says"Visakhapatnam is the tenth largest economy in India.Economy of Visakhapatnam article says"Visakhapatnam is the 8th largest in economy. Why there are two different ranks given for the same city? What is the correct one? Sai krishna 98 (talk) 11:26, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sai krishna 98 - They both cite the same reference - this one[1] - which clearly states 10th, so I have altered the Economy of Visakhapatnam article to accord with that reference. - Arjayay (talk) 11:34, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Plot section
Hey, I am new to editing Wikipedia and I have a doubt. In Wikipedia, articles require reliable sources for information to be put up. However, there are no sources for the Plot of movies and books. The reason might be encouraging people to read the book or watch the movie. Whatever it may be, there are just no references. In that case, What to be done ? I have recently come across many articles without sources for Plot. Awaiting your reply. 2.51.19.218 (talk) 11:48, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hello IP in Dubai - you are right, it is confusing, we go on and on about requiring references in every other article, and in the rest of the article about the film or book.
Essentially, however, plots of films and books are self verifying. If you want to check that the description is correct, you can read the book or see the film, to verify the information.
Although magazines etc. often summarize a film, we cannot copy their description because of copyright, and they will not have a very detailed description that we could précis following the ruling in Twin Peaks Productions v. Publications International - see WP:COPYRIGHTPLOT for more information. This is also one of the reasons we limit film plot summaries to between 400 and 700 words as WP:FILMPLOT.
Before launching into writing a plot please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Writing about fiction in particular the two sections MOS:FICTIONPLOT and MOS:PLOT. - Arjayay (talk) 12:18, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Kevin Kiely
I made an edit to Kevin Kiely (poet) before realizing that you had (sort of) rejected the same edit. I still feel that the lead is not the proper place for those words and feel that even placement in the main body the article requires pretty strong sourcing, but I'm open to starting a discussion to see how we should handle this. I don't want you to review my edit as a rejection of your review — I entertain the request as part of an email from the subject (OTRS) and felt that part of the request was warranted.--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:05, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Rabidas Behera
I made an edit on Odia language and you warned me of possible vandalism . My mother tongue is Odia and I am from Odisha. You can literally see people from other regions like User talk:বঙ্গভূমি and other anonymous persons are simply adding Bengali and Ho language in articles pertaining to Odisha. You can know about Ho and Bengali population in Odisha districts by logging to Odisha government site .Their population is simply negligible as compared to Odia and tribal population like Santhali and Khondhs. So I am literally protecting my state Odisha related pages from possible vandalism thereby not promoting any language . I want to simply protect and improve the standard of Odisha related pages.
If this is an issue for which a Wiki guideline page exists, I would really appreciate your guidance through a link to articles that I had edited. Geo tv
I request u to edit Geo Tv Wikipedia page too because no one is taking responsibility of that Biclorf.kok (talk) 08:08, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Biclorf.kok - I am not sure what problems you can see at Geo TV - it has far more references than most other articles on Pakistani TV stations, and includes a criticism/controversy section, so it is not overtly promotional unlike many TV articles. In any case you have over 150 edits and have never edited Geo TV at all - Arjayay (talk) 17:38, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
- Biclorf.kok - looking further, I assume you are actually talking about List of programs broadcast by Geo TV, which has a number of problems. It has no references whatsoever, it has an entirely unsourced "upcoming" programmes section contrary to WP:CRYSTAL and includes programme times contrary to WP:NOTTVGUIDE. Furthermore, it appears that you have been adding much of this unsourced information - why are you asking me to edit that page? as I will just remove much of the "information" you have added. - Arjayay (talk) 17:46, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
Please don't try to edit Geo TV Wikipedia page again because you are changing the format of that and putting insensible things in it. Biclorf.kok (talk) 07:20, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- No Biclorf.kok - You need to stop editing that page, as you keep re-adding things contrary to Wikipedias rules and guidelines - all I am doing is reverting your changes, which, as you know are against our rules and guidelines - as explained to you here and in my edit summaries. What is more, looking at your edit history, it appears that you probably have a conflict of interest, so should not be editing that page at all - Arjayay (talk) 11:28, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

- No Biclorf.kok, you have been blocked, for repeatedly contravening WP:NOTTVGUIDE, WP:V and WP:CRYSTAL. This block is only for a day, but if you continue to break our rules and guidelines, when you are allowed to edit again, your next block will be longer, or even permanent, so please don't - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 19:08, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
Stop editing every page thats none of your concern mind your own buisness now u change the format u will be blocked permanently from editing stop runing the page next time don't do it please I request u please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biclorf.kok (talk • contribs) 10:18, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
- No Biclorf.kok, as clearly shown by the fact that you have already been blocked twice, once for a day, the second time for a week, you are the one vandalizing our pages by repeatedly contravening WP:NOTTVGUIDE, WP:V and WP:CRYSTAL. As stated above - if you continue, your next block will be longer, or even permanent.
Could you please explain why any pages are "none of my concern" and why I should "mind my own business"; presumably, you think that these pages are your concern? Why is that? - Arjayay (talk) 11:34, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Then don't remove the upcoming program or change the format if u want then just add something and its my concern this is my job and next time don't even try to block me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biclorf.kok (talk • contribs) 17:25, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
- Biclorf.kok, thank you for admitting that "this is my job"

Speedy deletion declined: Kiran (Geo Kahani)
Hello Arjayay. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kiran (Geo Kahani), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 cannot be applied to movies or TV shows. Thank you. SoWhy 16:52, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

Oh no, another entry on the "broadcasted" debate...
Hello, I'm not trying to start an argument, just make a point on this. (My personal pet peeve is "begs the question," - does no one not know how to correctly use this anymore?). I suspect this is one of those British v. American things, as my dictionary (American) gives broadcasted as acceptable, although it seems to matter in what manner it's used. For example, one could say, "The seed was broadcast last week on the south forty," as opposed to, "The radio station broadcasted Beethoven's Ninth without commercial interruption."
Even wikitionary doesn't entirely say it can't be used, but that raises another question: is wikitionary considered a reliable source?
Feel free to delete this if you consider it too banal to keep on your page - I shan't complain. Sincerely, Justin Namen (talk) 20:46, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Justin Namen - thanks for your post - this was discussed at length about 7 or 8 years ago, but I can't find the discussion at the moment. I know broadcasted is in some dictionaries, as I state above:-
- Broadcasted appears in some dictionaries, but others, e.g. Chambers state "Sorry, no entries for Broadcasted were found".
Broadcast appears in all dictionaries, and should be used as COMMONALITY - "Wikipedia tries to find words that are common to all varieties of English".
- Broadcasted appears in some dictionaries, but others, e.g. Chambers state "Sorry, no entries for Broadcasted were found".
- And don't get me started on "Rebroadcasted" .....(let's not start a sentence beginning "and" debate) - Arjayay (talk) 07:40, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
