About Salome Zurabishvili
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Salome Zurabishvili a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Salomé Zourabichvili. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for June 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Presidency of Salomé Zourabichvili, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ajara (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The page File:Tijroba Shrine, Georgian Side.jpg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appeared to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Georgia–Slovenia relations moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Georgia–Slovenia relations, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Georgia-Guinea-Bissau relations, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:36, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
This article (which you created) seems to be plagiarized from its sole source, and Earwig also detected copyright infringement from here. It's an odd subject choice for an editor who says that they specialize in Georgian topics, and I hope you're not a sock of Georgiano or engaging in undisclosed paid editing. Please see WP:PLAG. Miniapolis 20:40, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- Odd accusation. I was responsible for a very different body of the article, which was completely changed months after I created the article (most likely by some local bureaucrat who works for that district). I created this article when I lived in the district for years and was very careful to even include a part about its electoral system (given that I worked during those elections). Check the history of it, and please retract your doubts that I plagiarized something. I hate the very concept of plagiarism, it lacks creativity, the root of human interest. And sir, I do not have an uninteresting mind. --AlexandreAssatiani (talk) 14:25, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of South Dade Soil and Water Conservation District
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on South Dade Soil and Water Conservation District requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.fdacs.gov/content/download/7357/file/Fswcd_Handbook_Final.pdf and https://southdadesoilandwater.org/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Rogermx (talk) 03:05, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for creating David Paul Kay.

The sourcing consists of Native advertising, sponsored/connected sources such as Montblanc, sources w/o bylines, and a Forbes contributor piece which is unreliable per WP:RSP.

Overlinking
[edit]I have spent quite some time removing some of the overlinking at Salome Zourabichvili but there is still a lot more overlinking to be removed.
I have come to explain overlinking on the English Wikipedia, which is different from some others, such as the French Wikipedia,
As explained at WP:OVERLINKING we only link the first use of a term in an article, and we do not normally link:-
- Everyday words understood by most readers.
- Names familiar to most readers, including;- major countries, major cities, major languages, major nationalities/ethnicities and major religions
- Common units of measurement and dates, days, months and years
There are many articles where these are already, incorrectly, linked; however, we are trying to reduce this, not add to it - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 13:29, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
The article David Paul Kay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article has multiple issues. The topic of this article does not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline. It also relies excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject, preventing the article from being verifiable and neutral. A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. IndyNotes (talk) 16:02, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Copyright warning
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from one or more pages to Ismail ibn Shuab. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. For example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, please add attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. (t · c) buidhe 05:42, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

Cut and paste moves
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Irakli Beraia. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else.
