July 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Song do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 12:05, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Gofnet.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. bonadea contributions talk 12:22, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want this article back as a page in your user space: User:Ajit garga/Gofnet.com ? There was no claim of importance, jsut the fact that it was different. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:44, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gofnet.com - An essential ingredient for Wikipedia[edit]

Gofnet.com should not be deleted from Wikipedia because it is about a song search engine, an entirely different concept in itself. I know wikipedia consideration of promotional or advertising behavior being reflected from the article. But it is absolutely wrong. The article is based on the concept of a song search engine and should be re-considered.

August 2010[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] MrOllie (talk) 14:13, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gofnet.com - this article is not meant for advertisement purpose[edit]

This is article is about a music search engine ,i.e., Gofnet.com which is a different article and must be included in Wikipedia. It is a topic which needs article writing. So, in my opinion this article should not be deleted from Wikipedia. --Ajit garga (talk) 18:22, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
