Speedy deletion nomination of Operation of Parwan (1984)

[edit]

Hello Afghan1235,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Operation of Parwan (1984) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Parwan Operation (1984) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Parwan Operation (1984). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and there doesn't seem to have been any operation of this name (though it's been used to describe Mujahideen attacks on the Soviet army). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:23, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there I put 2 source which talks about the battle and I think the name should be fine because Soviets and dra made an operation against the mujahideen but if you got other name feel free to say it Afghan1235 (talk) 10:26, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I put one more source feel free to check it and if you have any better names for the article tell me 2001:8003:3F8E:1F00:F875:97BD:CFC5:46C7 (talk) 10:35, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No I didn’t copy this, This page was already made in wiki Fandom I just made this on Wikipedia Afghan1235 (talk) 00:43, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you did. The Fandom page copied the content from Wikipedia, as noted in the article: "All or a portion of this article consists of text from Wikipedia, and is therefore Creative Commons Licensed under GFDL." Whether (maybe especially if) you're taking the content from Fandom or directly from Wikipedia, you still have to correctly attribute where the content is from. You should not be copying content from random sources online without: 1) verifying the license and 2) correctly attributing the text. C F A 💬 02:07, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
