Userpage
Hello. You're welcome for the IP block. I wish to make the general observation that your userpage would be less inflammatory if you changed the name in the infobox. Free speech and expression of views is one thing, unnecessarily offending others through their religious figures is something else. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:05, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe you're right. The name seems to attract vandalization of my page. I changed it. Thanks for the advice. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 13:07, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

- Oh yeah, lol, but I kinda see that as a badge of honor because I sometimes do vandal patrol...it's like displaying my WikiPurplehearts. The funniest one is SatyrTN's UBX showing the times he's been accused of being homophobic. Loves it. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 13:35, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I reverted your edit returning the West Florida High School of Advanced Technology to the list of high schools in Pensacola. My userpage
Have a look at my talk page and let me know whether or not everything shows fine for you? I've redirected my userpage to my talk page and tweaked out the talk page to serve as both user and talk. Thanks. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 16:16, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, looks fine on my computer. Now, can you do me a favor? You see the red barnstar above that David gave me? I'm trying to resize it so I can add my barnstars to my user page. The red barnstar is the only one that's too long, as it screws up the userbox order. I asked for assistance at the talk page and someone was kind enough to resize it some (you can see the 2nd one above as well), but it's still too long. Do you know how I can reduce the length? AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 16:22, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I figured out why it was screwing up the page. Some idiot (APK) incorrectly copied the HTML code from the 'Spinner Barnstar' onto my user page...there wasn't even a problem with the 'Red Barnstar.' Since it was you that awarded me the barnstar culprit, I blame you for my dumb edits. Yeah, that sounds right. ;-) AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 20:47, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Ahem
I'm more than a bit offended by your comments and accusations against me at Talk: E.O. Green School shooting. Including "(note: Benji likes to takes the opposite side of every discussion I'm involved in and the snarky comments are common practice)" seems quite unneeded. If you have some issue with me, and it seems you do, I'd appreciate you bringing it to me directly so we can work out what's going on. For the record, I don't really take note of who is on what side of any argument and I try to stay focused on what serves the article (and thus the reader) best. I don't limit myself to non-controversial subjects so often get into heated discussions with other editors but for my part I try to keep them about the content. Not my opinion of them personally, as I generally don't know them or have any other non-wikipedia dealings with them. I would appreciate a bit more AGF towards myself just as all editors here deserve. If I'm wrong or mistaken or even simply over-ruled then fine, I make my case and try to enlighten as to why I think something should go a certain way as do others. If you think I'm personally targeting you in any way I can assure you I'm not and I apologize if it seems that way. Benjiboi 22:04, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you want me to be totally honest, I don't really care for you. (not personally, but your Wikipersonality, which may be different than your real-life personality as is the case sometimes) Hence the reason I don't really communicate with you and why I now try to avoid debates in which you are involved. We have very different views on just about every subject, and you appear to think you're correct in every situation...so I don't really think we have anything in common. You mention a request for more AGF and I've yet to see much of that come my way from you. If we don't get along, that's fine. There is no WP policy stating two people must be Wikifriends. No need to reply. G'day. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:12, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- I appreciate your candor and will consider what you point out. Indeed online discussions don't catch the nuances of in-person communication so I should be more aware of that. Benjiboi 23:25, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, now that I read back over my comment, it came out in a harsh manner. It was meant to be an honest reason why we often differ on talk pages, but FYI, when I said I don't care for you I meant your style of editing. If we met each other in real life, we might be friends, who knows. But as you said, online discussions are difficult when we can't see each other's facial expressions, hear each other's tones, etc. What is being said might be perceived in a totally different manner than the way it is intended by the writer. Help me peeps.
So I just created Joel Lane House (I don't usually create articles because I'm not that comfortable with WP just yet), and I'm trying to add a picture to the article. I'm soooo confused by some of the WikiCommons policies, so in English, can someone tell me how to get a flickr photo added to this article? I usually get yelled at on WC, even when I've had written permission from the owner of a website to use a photo. Those people are strange. Thanks betches. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 02:44, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Help requested re removal of "openly gay" from Amstell article
Hello--I've seen your work here and there and got your name from the page on WikiProject LGBT Studies; an article under that umbrella is constantly being reverted and I was wondering if I could get your assistance with it. There's been an ongoing discussion as to whether or not the subject's sexual orientation is relevant despite citation affirming both that he is openly gay and that this is notable in his public life. Wake County article
Looks very good. I have been following it, even if I haven't been able to edit in a while. The Raleigh City Museum and the State Library of North Carolina, both within walking distance of the Capitol may be excellent sources for print material to help expand and flesh out the article. There's also a WCPL branch that specializes in history, and I think you can get books from them on interlibrary transfer to any other WCPL branch. I've ordered their stuff through the Cameron Village library before (some books on Plymouth Colony). Its the [1] Olivia Raney History Library, and its located in the Wake County Office Park over on Carya Drive (off Poole Road, between the Beltline and New Hope). See if those provide you with good sources... --Jayron32.talk.contribs 05:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I wish I could get those books, but I live in Washington, D.C. now, but I'm still mainly interested in editing NC articles since I lived there most of my life. Hopefully, the Historical Society will help me out some, or someone that has the books will add the info. Thanks for the help. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 05:48, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I understand what you mean. I frequently edit articles on my home town Hudson, New Hampshire, though I live in Raleigh currently. Its hard to get sources for stuff you know to be true, but can't reference since your hundreds of mile away. Well, there is a chance that WCPL or the State Library participates in Interlibrary Loan with a University library or some other library near you. The historical society you have contacted may be able to send you info too. Good luck. If I get off my lazy ass, I may hit those libraries and see what I can find myself! --Jayron32.talk.contribs 05:51, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Dante's Cove
Yeah, I really think that images deleted for bullshit reasons should be put back. How fascinating. Otto4711 (talk) 03:37, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Guess what? The images are not visible any longer and the last pic is about to be deleted for copyright violations (or as you call them, "bullshit reasons"). Now that really is fascinating, no? BTW, check your attitude and read WP:OWN.
- Hey, guess what? Oh, never mind, you've already proven by your previous actions that my trying to engage you in any sort of rational discussion is a waste of my time, so you have a lovely evening. Otto4711 (talk) 03:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- And you just proved your maturity (or lack thereof) level. Just because you're mad I cited WP guidelines with those porn articles doesn't mean you need to get all pissy with me about Dante's Cove. Obviiously, by the edit history, people disagree with you and you have now violated WP:3RR. Also, if you recall, I left you a message on your talk page after our spat about the porn articles...the message was about us being civil and you deleted it. So don't tell me that trying to engage with me is a waste of my time because of my actions. That's your own fault. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 04:20, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
I wanted to let you know that it was a good call on that revert earlier this evening. Looking back at my deletion, I cannot find any justification for it. At the time, a number of POV edits were being made by anonymous users, and I suppose I took this as one of the same. I should have looked more carefully. Thank you for reverting it. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 04:58, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

I just learned about the Gay Cabal (what gay cabal?) on your user page and it made me chuckle. Finally
I was on my way to meet some friends for dinner at an El Salvador-themed restaurant in Adams Morgan tonight and ran into someone I've wanted to meet since I moved to D.C. I read Andrew Sullivan's blog everyday (I disagree with some of his views, but I find his blog intriguing and he was a pioneer in political blogging) and while I was crossing U Street, there was Andrew. I chatted with him for a sec and so I'm in a good mood tonight. Side note: I find his support for O to be so disappointing, especially since he's supposedly a conservative libertarian..the total opposite of Obama. That's what APK is...a conservative libertarian. 1) We deleted the warning because you deleted the references. Please do not come to this page consistently and make edits and then come back and tell us the warnings that you created are valid. 2) The picture that was uploaded had a complete VALID copyright. I own the picture. I took the picture. I granted Wilipedia the license to use the picture. What could be any clearer than that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cainebj (talk • contribs) 21:04, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- 1)The last sentence about being "clearer than that" is unncessary. So is the one you left here. To answer that question, yes, you have to be clear. That particular article has had copyrighted pictures added to it several times by you, hence why some people try to make sure there is a valid copyright for the pictures being used. Also, you said "we." Who is we? 2)You have a history of uploading copyrighted pictures to that article. This for example, and also here. So why should someone believe you now? 3)You say you have permission to use the DVD cover here. Where is this permission? You removed copyright image warnings from your talk page which looks suspicious. 4)The picture in question seems to be professionally made and since you've lied about the DVD cover, what proof do you have that you took this picture? This isn't about WP:AGF, it's about believing someone that has lied in the past about pictures related to Dawson. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 21:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Also, making another username and adding the picture again doesn't prove you own it. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 21:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
I did not make another user name - I contacted Max Sohl at Treasure Island Media www.treasureislandmedia.com. Max is Dawson's longtime collaborator and the director of all of his videos for Treasure Island Media including Dawson's 20 Load Weekend - which is the original image in question that you kept deleting. (Dawson is a lifetime exclusive for Treasure Island Media). I informed him that you were making continual edits to Dawson's page and HE created a user name to re-upload the picture himself. If this is not enough evidence for you, you can visit the official website at www.treasureislandmedia.com or the imdb.com or contact max himself at max@treasureislandmedia.com. I am a part of Max's crew. In addition, the "references" that you have been requesting are ALL verifiable. After re-reading through this page, I can see this is no different than your attack on Rick Pantera's page. There are HUNDREDS of porn stars listed on the pages of Wilipedia with no verifiable references and COMPLETE videographies - unless you are going to go through each and every single one of them and target them then we would appreciate it if you would contact Max directly at max@treasureislandmedia.com and explain exactly what you would like from us to prove that the edits you are making to Dawson's page are incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cainebj (talk • contribs) 21:32, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm, we've probably met in another life (aka: I think this might be Point Nexis/World News International because of the use of the word "we" and bringing up the Pantera article). My "attack" on Rick Pantera's page was simply following established guidelines found in the WP:XXX project. If you don't like the guideline, I suggest you take your concerns to the project page. If you don't like the fact Wikipedia wants reliable sources and an actual reason why some of these porn actors should be considered encyclopedic, then I suggest you make your own website, Pornopedia. In regards to your advice to "target" these article, I suggest you look at some of the gay porn star articles. I've removed the long list of movies from most of those articles to match WP Porn guidelines. If the hetero porn star articles have the lists, then I suggest you remove them yourself to follow guidelines instead of whining about it on my talk page. (i.e. "Well, they have it. Why can't I? Whaaaaa.") (Note: another reason I think this might be a WP:SOCK case is that Point Nexis used this same argument) Also, the articles with no verifiable sources (which I'm glad you admit) are being looked through and I am nominating the articles for deletion that do not meet WP:PORNBIO criteria. Instead of trying to add long lists of movies, why don't you and the others who are so intent on finding a reason why these porn actors are encyclopedic actually fix these articles to bring up to WP standards by adding sources. I know, that would make sense, hence why some people are opposed to that idea. I know all about Max Sohl, Dawson, Treasure Island, etc. No need to explain to me the business relationships. You say you contacted Max Sohl and that you're part of his "crew." So if I ask an admin to do a user check and see if the IP address is the same for Max Sohl and Cainebj (and maybe for Nexis Point), you wouldn't have an issue? That way, I'll know for sure that you're not making another username. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 21:50, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Also, don't remove the unreferenced tag again until the problem has been addressed. K? Thanks babe. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:02, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Apologies if we do not know all the codes for Wikipedia as well as you do. It is distasteful to have someone claim that because I have added the same picture from the DVD cover (WITH permission and we have done our best to use the correct licensing codes) more than once that I have lied about its authenticity and even after the umpteenth time of you deleting the image we went and got one that Max took himself to add to the page and you have deleted that NEW one as well in a matter of hours. I have already politely asked you to contact Max yourself at his "official" email address if you need any further verification.Cainebj (talk) 22:20, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- What is "distasteful" is you adding the picture of the DVD cover in the past and lying about owning it, then coming on here and telling me I'm the one being "distateful" for calling you out. The "umpteenth" time you say? I removed the DVD image twice. The other times it was removed was by East718 here and Tnblk Ji here. So please cut the exaggeration. Oh, I found some additional times you added the copyrighted pic. Here and here. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

It's also about making sure people don't repeatedly add copyrighted pictures and edit articles that they (supposedly) are professionally involved with. Your comments on the deletion nominations for those two articles doesn't help your truce request since I've already told you on your talk page and the talk page on your other account not to violate WP:COI. I hope you will understand that it is no fun working on an article only to come back a week later and find everything has been deleted or undone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cainebj (talk • contribs) 03:45, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Don't forget WP:COI. Cainebj, if you are indeed "part of Max's crew", you really shouldn't be editing any articles related to Treasure Island - the "actors", movies, etc. Doing so is a conflict of interest, and is heavily frowned upon. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 23:41, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. I'll do that. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- APK, I think a checkuser is indeed in order so I'd encourage you to go that route. Too many associated redlinks flying around here uploading and adding things. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 22:27, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Archiving
I've installed archiving on your page here cause it's getting a bit long. Of course, if you don't want archiving, just undo my edit. The archive box at the top is empty right now but when the bot comes around and finally makes it to you, it'll do all the work. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 02:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. I've been wanting to add the archive feature, but I wasn't sure how to do it. I owe you one. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 02:32, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- haha How's this for stats:
- User talk:AgnosticPreachersKid; 07:38 . . (-113,769) . . MiszaBot III (Talk | contribs) (Archiving 62 thread(s) (older than 5d) to User talk:AgnosticPreachersKid/Archive 3, User talk:AgnosticPreachersKid/Archive 2, User talk:AgnosticPreachersKid/Archive 1.)
- And you should see the links in the archive box above. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 13:05, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I bet that dark red number got the attention of some of the recent change patrollers. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 15:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Alright, I'm confused...
...it looked like there'd been another vandal-edit on Simon Amstell about an hour or two (not sure how daylight savings time affects the time difference here)_after_ your final warning--I went to AIV with it but as you can see on my talk page, they said it wasn't "recent" and to let them know if it happened again within 24 hours. What's the point then of a "this is your last warning and you will be blocked" message? I'm beginning to think that the warning templates are useless.. :[ Rachel Summers (talk) 11:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think it may need to go to AN/I instead of AIV since AIV is refusing to block the IP. That IP has removed the content several times and needs a tongue lashing by an admin. Only a few watch AIV at any given time but many lurk at AN/I. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 11:58, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Lurking, that was a funny word to use. Anyway, I'd suggest going to ANI as well. The IP will continue to do this until an admin says something...and will probably still do it afterwards. If you noticed, I added on the user pages of both IP's that have been removing the content that they might be socks. I'm not sure if that goes on the user or talk page though. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 15:11, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- What's ANI? I've only dealt with AIV. Rachel Summers (talk) 16:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- WP:ANI is the place to report numerous things such as harassment, constant incivility, repeated vandalism, etc. I've reported things like people uploading underage porn pictures, incivility, etc. It covers a broad range of topics. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 16:34, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- To expand a little, Rachel, ANI is the Administrators' Noticeboard for dealing with Incidents. You can post asking for an admin to do something about some situation there. :) Jay*Jay (talk) 16:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Have posted there; hope I did it right. And re Amstell's talk page--if his orientation doesn't belong in the intro paragraph or his early/personal life, where does it go? Rachel Summers (talk) 16:51, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- It seems that the opening sentence is the best place so far, but let's see if there are any other suggestions from users. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 16:53, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- ANI says to take it to AIV or RFPP. Doesn't look like any admins who've looked at the situation are taking it seriously; on verge of giving up here. Rachel Summers (talk) 17:03, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I posted a reply at the ANI thread. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 21:09, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Please spare me
I notice that when a more pc commentary is added that it is defended as "neutral" and no one may alter it. I reject your pov comment to my comment. Typical that you try to silence opposition to your pov by claiming that I add pov. The irony is palpable.70.108.117.53 (talk) 04:03, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Your comment wasn't just "non-pc," it was uncivil and had nothing positive to add to the discussion. You said, "No one hates like homosexuals." So that's why I added a polite warning on your talk page asking you not to make personal analysis like that on a talk page. It wasn't a POV comment, it was a user warning template. What exactly is typical and how am I trying to "silence" you? No need to reply. I already know what you'll say and my talk page doesn't need anymore anonymous IP rants. NRHP / NHLs in NC
Hi -- Welcome to WP:NRHP from a fellow member. Please take a look at List of National Historic Landmarks in North Carolina, which recently was developed to include at least a stub article for each National Historic Landmark (NHL) in NC, but otherwise needs a lot of work. It would be great if you were interested in taking over / perhaps editing descriptions for this list-table-article, and adding to the NHL articles it indexes. I personally like the NHLs, as an honor roll of the NRHPs.... Anyhow, welcome again. Cheers, doncram (talk) 04:12, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome. I'll try to help out as much as I can. I've been editing articles dealing with Wake County, North Carolina and came across several historic places during my research that didn't have articles. I'm still a little confused about the difference between a National Historic Landmark and the National Register of Historic Places, but so far the 4 articles I've created and added to the project are Yates Mill, Joel Lane House, Mordecai House and Pope House Museum. I'm not sure if these four belong in the List of National Historic Landmarks in North Carolina or not. Any idea? I'm working on creating articles for the Page-Walker Hotel and DuBois Center, so I'll be done with those sometime tomorrow hopefully. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 05:22, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Those 6 are "regular" NRHPs, which are not further/also designated NHLs. The List of National Historic Landmarks in North Carolina list is already a complete list of all of the NHLs in NC already, there are no more to add. If you're not already doing so, you should be checking List of Registered Historic Places in North Carolina#Wake County, however. If you choose to use a different common name for the title of an article, different than the NRHP program name which is in that list, be sure to make a connection from the old name there to your new article. You're doing good work, glad to see your new article announcements in the new article box at WP:NRHP, that's a good way to get some attention to your articles and possibly get feedback. cheers, doncram (talk) 07:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ahh, that will come in very handy, especially since I was going to title the articles differently.(the two I mentioned I'm working on) Gracias. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 07:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Note to self
Start using the damn sandbox. When you accidentally close the window you've been working on and it erases alot of work, it reallllly sucks and is frustrating. You end up wanting to throw things out of the apartment window that may fall on the gay pedestrians of Dupont Circle. This would result in a lawsuit or prison time, all because you didn't use the sandbox. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 17:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Bwaha! I've using the sandbox for the first time myself right now. Do keep out of prison, you're too pretty to go there. Rachel Summers (talk) 18:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if he is in prison, then I might be willing to turn myself in and receive my "punishment." AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 18:03, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
