Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 194.66.216.40). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Antonrojo 17:08, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings

[edit]

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 09:51, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adding unrelated external links to articles is considered vandalism. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. --Wine Guy Talk 12:11, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Antonrojo 17:08, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Tony Blair, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Viewfinder 15:20, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made during February 7 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. (ESkog)(Talk) 15:35, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jamie Mackie. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Piano non troppo (talk) 15:07, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Operant conditioning, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Operant conditioning was changed by 194.66.216.40 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2009-11-09T16:35:25+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 16:35, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tennis at the 2012 Summer Olympics

[edit]

Please stop undoing my edit at the above page. Adding the mixed doubles champions from 1924 under a heading that reads "2008 Champions" is extremely misleading. I haved added the names of the 1924 champions to the main text in the article but they simply do not belong in that infobox unless they appear under a seperate heading. Thanks- Basement12 (T.C) 14:14, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FYI regarding List of Olympic venues in tennis, Jeu de paume is the name the Olympics uses for indoor (real) tennis, the event is named as such in the official report for the 1908 Games. I've put the note there as "lawn tennis" as the 1908 report refers to it was not staged at Queens so there is a need to be clear in the table - Basement12 (T.C) 15:01, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page University of Chichester has been reverted.
Your edit here to University of Chichester was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/UniversityofChichester) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Curtis Anderson

[edit]

Hello!

I saw that you reverted my edit about Curtis Anderson. I do not actually think his loan got cancelled, because players loaned out by clubs can play in EFL Trophy games as this is highlighted in player criteria in the rules of the competition. Is there like an article saying that his loan was cancelled just to 100% make sure that is the case?
