Einstein family
[edit]Hi there, good work reverting that vandal on Einstein family but I just wanted to give you a heads up that you reverted to a vandalized version. I've restored the correct information and reported the vandal to AIV. Thanks, SpicyMilkBoy (talk) 12:10, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, didn't see that the previous editor's revert didn't fully revert, simply used the Twinkle's rollback button. My mistake! Thanks for the fix.The79 (talk) 12:14, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
Regarding operation greens
[edit]My issue is regarding the rewriting of article Operation Greens. I have mentioned the authentic sources like news articles, government sources (PIB), government sites, etc. The article is written after referring to many sources. May I know where does the article falter. Ketan rana123 (talk) 15:03, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- The issue isn't in the sources being used, it's just that it doesn't meet Wikipedia's quality standards (as described in the template I tagged). Perhaps the template I used was a little harsh, some parts of it are fine, but the current writing of the article, at least in my opinion, appears to have a poor layout (especially in the Strategy section and the Patterns of Assistance section). Let me do a bit of research on the topic and I'll see if I can aid you in rewriting parts of the article.The79 (talk) 06:27, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

What happened to my user page?
[edit]I just recently noticed that my user page has been deleted by some user named "Jimfbleak" for Misuse of Wikipedia as a web host. Honestly, I never knew about that policy (could be recently implemented), but if that's the case, I'll try not to do that. However, I have seen users on this site promote their social media accounts before. I did see you say something that confused me. "This is your only warning; if you purposefully and blatantly harass fellow Wikipedian(s) again, as you did at User:The Gamer 91, you may be blocked..." So...was the deletion an attack of me or fairly inplanted? Again, I don't know. I've been gone from this site for a few weeks. The Gamer 91 (talk) 08:05, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
- Hi there, I requested your page be deleted through WP:SPEEDY because it violated WP:U5 Blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a web host, most likely for promoting social media accounts (I don't entirely remember what was there, but most likely). While you may use your user page to write a little about yourself, it cannot be the sole purpose of the user page (see WP:NOTSOCIAL). Your user page is not there to advertise yourself or for use as a blog/personal webpage. See WP:UPGOOD to see what you can place on your user page. You probably saw a message because another user thought that I was harassing you by submitting a request for user page deletion when your user page clearly fit the criteria for speedy deletion. However, that user later retracted their warning after realising their mistake and I later removed it from my user talk page. The79 (talk) 08:22, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying the situation with me. I will not put social media links on my user page anymore. I got confused because that section wasn't there anymore, but I guess that's irrelevant right now. The Gamer 91 (talk) 09:25, 30 June 2019 (CT)
Rollback granted
[edit]Hi The79. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 03:08, 5 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]and with no help from his mother, more like and despite his mother's worried for him. I think she cared more about Neil's well-being than her husband's cold-hardheartedness because the only time she said to her son was We've been so worried about you!. That's why I removed part of it from Dead Poets Society page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.206.36.244 (talk) 04:13, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- I see. While I'm unable to properly verify that and since it doesn't really require a source (since it's a movie plot and the movie itself is the source), I guess I'll take your word for it and revert my edit. Next time, you should place an edit summary so other editors (and the bot who flagged your edit) know what you are editing (or else we'll assume you're just removing content!). Also, you can sign your messages with your username by adding four tildes at the end of your message (four ~'s). The79 (talk) 04:59, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Speedy declined
[edit]Hi. I declined your speedy nomination of User:Ron Whitenstall at Ashley Mark Publishing because it is a (albeit imperfect) disclosure of conflict of interest and paid editing. Not only do we encourage users to disclose conflicts of interest, we require them to disclose any paid relationships regarding the topics they edit. I've advised the user to make use of the {{paid}} template, which displays a standardized message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:43, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
