Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You continue to have full access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.
If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.
Thank you.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Legends of the Hidden Temple. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. « ₣M₣ » 23:16, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Unreasonable block
[edit]169.139.115.67 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
This IP was blocked because of its apparently "extensive history of vandalism," but it has only been blocked twice, including the current block, and the IP wasn't properly warned. Based on the editing history, I'm thinking the college might have IT&S administrators monitoring for abuse, including Wikipedia vandalism. If this was one of those "vandalism only" IPs, then I would support a one year block, but considering the situation, I personally find a one year block to be a bit unreasonable on this IP. By the way, I have no connection with the organization that this IP belongs to; I just noticed it in the editing history of an article. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 19:12, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Decline reason:
No reason given to unblock, given that this is a softblock. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 19:22, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Edit Summaries
[edit] Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220 of Borg 16:21, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
