Hi oblcsp, greetings. I have added back the source on the page above which the source indicated Hardy's middle name. Pls do not remove source as it is for the purpose of WP:V core policy. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 22:35, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it because it did not support the allegation that that was his middle name. If you want to update it with an actual source, go ahead and do it.--0blcsp (talk) 01:38, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Andrew Wiggins, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically, NBA bios typically capitalize positions in the infobox, which is allowed per MOS:LISTCAPS. Consecutive links to <city>, <state> are discouraged per MOS:SEAOFBLUE.Bagumba (talk) 22:43, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Serge Ibaka. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please establish consensus at WT:NBA for your continued de-capitalization of player positions.Bagumba (talk) 01:33, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please join the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association#Capitalization_in_infobox_of_player_positions. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 01:52, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Malcolm Brogdon, you may be blocked from editing. Please gain consensus for your decaptialization of player positions.Bagumba (talk) 06:25, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, truly sorry about decapitalising a letter in a word which is not a proper noun and does not require it. Thank goodness you were there to catch that one; madness could ensue if that went unchecked. Glad you’ve got your priorities sorted.--0blcsp (talk) 01:50, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I came across this edit [1], then noticed more of your edits like [2] make questionable link changes. replacing "steroids" with "steroids" (arguably better before, but not worth changing), "COVID-19" -> "COVID-19" - better is to define the initialism "coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)". It's OK to use redirects (plurals or other) per WP:RPURPOSE / WP:NOTBROKEN (although the plural redirect templates do say it may be preferable to avoid themselves), however, clearcut examples like "bowler" is clear cut better than "bowler" per WP:ASTONISH / WP:NOTBROKEN and should be restored. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jeep Grand Cherokee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dealership (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Curious

[edit]

I see that some of your gnomish work includes correcting "out of order refs". What gives? I suspect you are wasting your time as that work can be undone the next time other refs are added. There is no requirement for the order of refs in that manner. -- Valjean (talk) 16:04, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing redirects

[edit]

I saw your edit at Isaac Asimov . many of your improvements to links are removal of redirects:, like changing [[Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic|Russian SFSR]] to [[Russian SFSR]]. Please stop removing those target from links. This is not something that should be done. Debresser (talk) 20:53, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I asked for comments of other users regarding this issue at WP:ANI. Debresser (talk) 21:01, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:NOTBROKEN. "There is usually nothing wrong with linking to redirects to articles. Some editors are tempted, upon finding a link to a redirect page, to bypass the redirect and point the link directly at the target page. However, changing to a piped link is beneficial only in a few cases. Piping links solely to avoid redirects is generally a time-wasting exercise that can actually be detrimental." The opposite is also true. Yrs, Narky Blert (talk) 22:18, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You are not acknowledging this issue. Let me warn you what will happen if you do not take heed of the comments by your fellow editors:

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:03, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dash style change

[edit]

I notice that you converted all the spaced en dashes in John McTiernan to unspaced em dashes at 11:34 on 13 October 2020 (UTC). That is not proper. As long as the dash style is consistent, spaced en dashes are acceptable in articles on Wikipedia, per MOS:DASH. Please don't do that. I suspect you also did it in other articles already. — BarrelProof (talk) 02:41, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I see that your edit of Rec (film) a month later was not like that. I'm glad to see that. — BarrelProof (talk) 23:03, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
