[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ram Prasad Bismil, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 13:20, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Genda Lal Dixit, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. C F A 💬 17:47, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Roshan Singh. Jdcomix (talk) 16:44, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, पण्डित देवनारायण भारतीय. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:59, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, पण्डित देवनारायण भारतीय,
- Please do not attempt to write articles about your family members. It's difficult if not impossible for you to be unbiased. If you have questions about conflict-of interests, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:01, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
