I primarily focus on music articles and chart information, but I am open to editing any page I go onto if I see formatting errors, misuse of semicolons to bold, grammar and spelling mistakes, red links, redirects, misuse or lack of italics where appropriate, odd spacing or plain old false information/vandalism. I occasionally create articles if I'm into the subject matter and the article does not exist yet. I'm also likely to edit the article of whatever I'm into at the time.
A common problem I find on Wikipedia is editors, registered or not, who make no attempt to provide a reference, particularly when adding chart positions. Many editors also disregard the importance of updating accessdates in references (specifically on album and song articles)—these are helpful to let others know you have verified new information, or a guide for if a link becomes inactive to know when information was current and last accessible. I also dislike the seemingly American style to include punctuation between quotation marks it was not originally included between (including commas and full stops inside of song titles). This makes no sense and has no place on Wikipedia per our guidelines on using logical quotation.
I don't enjoy reverting, but will rollback any vandalism or unhelpful IP edits upon finding them. I try to avoid reverting regular users I know contribute good things to the project, and I still try (though not always successfully) to avoid disputes unless I feel it's necessary to point something out. Edit wars help nobody, and things are best discussed or proposed on talk pages if you have been reverted per WP:BRD and WP:CONSENSUS.
If you have an issue with something I've said or done—remain calm, avoid getting personal, and consider writing a message on my talk page. Please don't hold grudges against editors. My advice is to stop and move on as best you can, because it's really not in anyone's best interest to let Wikipedia affect them that much. It won't lead to anything positive, and ultimately it's a waste of time.
If you've read this far, just a reminder: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so remain impartial and do not insert your personal opinion (positive or negative) into articles (I greatly dislike bias or a promotional tone on articles), and finally: Wikipedia is not censored.
