Submission declined on 12 March 2024 by Theroadislong (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Theroadislong 9 months ago. |

- Comment: To be blunt, this does not read like an encyclopedic article. Neutrality issues are not yet resolved; in addition to that, bolding of sections is unnecessary. ToadetteEdit (talk) 17:01, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Advertising/point of view issues have not yet been wholly fixed. Much of the content in this page is not encyclopedic, and unreferenced claims should be removed and condensed. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:57, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Not enough significant, independent coverage. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 21:09, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I have removed the small copyright violation and requested its revision deletion. You appear to rely on the org's own website a great deal. This does not help with verification of notability. You appear to have written a brochure, rather than an articleIs this translated from, for example.the German language WIkipedia? If so please use {{translated page}} on the talk page, with parameters filled out correctly 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 12:58, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

Fachverband Kathodischer Korrosionsschutz (German Cathodic Corrosion Protection Association)
[edit]The Fachverband Kathodischer Korrosionsschutz e.V. (fkks) or German Cathodic Corrosion Protection Association is a German Professional Association for Cathodic Protection specialists, founded and registered in 1964. It is based in Esslingen am Neckar in Germany and is a not-for-profit association. The governance of the association is by the General Assembly, the Executive Board and the Management and represents the interests of cathodic protection specialists.[1][2][3]
Through fkks cert gmbh, a 100% subsidiary of the association, accredited certification schemes in the field of cathodic corrosion protection are provided. The portfolio of fkks cert gmbh includes the certification of qualified persons, or experts as well as of specialised companies.[4][5][6][7]
The association is a registered member of other professional bodies such as DVGW (The German Gas and Water Association), EFC (European Federation of Corrosion). Fkks nominates subject matter experts to DIN (German Standards Institute) to participate in European (CEN) and International Standards (ISO).[8][9]
Honours / Kuhn Medal of Honour®
[edit]Since 1970, the fkks has awarded the Kuhn Medal of Honour®, which it endows to deserving pioneers of cathodic protection for their life's work.[10][11][12]
R. J. Kuhn, helped to bring about the breakthrough of cathodic protection of pipelines around 1928. In 1928. He is is regarded as the founder of the protection potential criterion for CP on buried pipelines, which is still valid today.[13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
In 1958, he received the Frank Newman Speller Award from the AMPP (formerly NACE, National Association of Corrosion Engineers).[20]
