This template looks like it should have the attention of the editors associated with the Chinese Martial Arts Project. Bad template, not neutral. Biased selection of styles, without any sources. Seems to play with the Shaolin's myths, without historial serious references. The former title "kung fu styles" shows the lack of consistency... Let's take a look at List of Chinese martial arts and the Chinese martial art article to learn a bit...
That template must be deleted, to my point of view. A template "Chinese animal styles" may be usefull (if such a distinction is not POV or a sort of original work...), but not this actual David Carradine's explanation ! --Irønie (talk) 17:54, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps this template could be merged with the Chinese martial Arts template?
