No contact times??[edit]

@Tomruen: They’re there, just in a collapsible list. It keeps the Infobox as small as possible; many infoboxes fall victim to article-breaking overbloating and I didn’t want this one to be too long as well. I think it’s a good compromise between infobox size and retention of essential information. @Tomruen: I've made previous attempts in the past to make suppresed parameters work with the current collapsed {{Infobox}} setup, but there was no positive result. I uncollapsed the times. I suspect that, as an eclipse approaches, that vast majority of people are reading the article to find out "what time do I go outside?" Now, it's not as important for eclipses in the past or distant future, so I suppose we could base the collapsed state on {{CURRENTTIMESTAMP}}, but I don't see the point. Duration format[edit]

The template documentation specifies the format for the durations of totality &c as "formatted in worded minutes and seconds. For example, 102 minutes, 50 seconds". This isn't consistent with the mixed units guidelines in [1]. There is a specific IAU format suggested as acceptable for Astronomy; shouldn't the template specify this, or one of the agreed formats, e.g. "XX min XX s"? — samt | talk 15:58, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
