Nominator's comments: The recent deaths ticker has already been passed in an RfC. This is not the place to discuss it. If you wish to protest its existence, please start a new discussion on the talk page. The four people I have chosen are of varying notability, and this nomination is not only for the purpose of a posting, but also to gauge the threshold of notability people have for recent death nominations. If Chopra and/or McGovern are posted, they are ineligible for the ticker. The blurb is in chronological order by day, but not time, like standard blurbs. Additionally, the ticker will not be italicized like shown in the nom; that is an automatic function of the nomination template. The sources section is not working, so I will add them here: Chopra, McGovern, Thomas, Magni. --Bzweebl (talk • contribs) 22:17, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Recent deaths of any person, animal or organism with a Wikipedia article are always presumed to be important enough to post (see this RFC and further discussion). Comments should focus on whether the quality of the article meets WP:ITNRD.
