Progradungula barringtonensis
- ... that the Australian spider Progradungula barringtonensis has been called a Gondwanan "ghost"?
- Source: Michalik et al. (2024) Article title and Discussion- Biogeography and conservation "However, the small range sizes and disjunct distributions of the three known Progradungula species support theidea that this spider genus is a relict. Progradungula might be an example of Gondwanan rainforest biota that has suffered major extinction and now survives only in a few sheltered habitats."

- New enough, long enough. Hook fact is interesting, supported in article. Spiders and ghosts are a perfect blend for Halloween. No close paraphrasing (Earwig shows 0%). Good to go! — Chris Woodrich (talk) 18:52, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Kevmin and Crisco 1492: Running Ctrl+F through the source, I can only see the word 'ghost' in the WP:HEADLINE, which isn't reliable.--Launchballer 18:07, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- What is the Specific wording of WP:Reliable that is violated? The wording of headline is specifically targeting news sources, not peer-reviewed publications. The article covers the "ghost" part in the sections I included here about relictual lineages and extinction events.--Kevmin § 20:40, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
