First You claim the edit is uncited this is false. First it is cited to Kew POWO, it is also cited by the taxon author and year which can be easily searched, and there is a third citation linked to the same source in the taxonbar template below. The taxon identifier is a point of reference for each catalogued taxon. Here I am replacing an existing uncited list with one with one citation which agrees with materials found on the Taxon identifiers.

Second all the material all comes from the same source. Per Wikipedia:Citing sources: "Material that is repeated multiple times' in a paragraph does not require an inline citation for every mention."

Third perWikipedia:No original research:

"The verifiability policy says that an inline citation to a reliable source must be provided for all quotations, and for anything challenged or likely to be challenged—but a source must exist even for material that is never challenged.[a] For example, the statement "the capital of France is Paris" does not require a source to be cited, nor is it original research, because it's not something you thought up and it is easily verifiable; therefore, no one is likely to object to it and we know that sources exist for it even if they are not cited. The statement is verifiable, even if not verified. " --

Hence my edits here does not necessary require a cite unless it is quotations, anything challenged or likely to be challenged. Per Wikipedia:Citing sources "Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires inline citations for any material challenged or likely to be challenged" If you have challenges to the materiel posted please post it on the talkpage and start a discussion on the validity of the source.

Its not a paragraph, its a table and its very clearly being drawn from different pages of POWO. The table is uncited in its current form (and directly contradicts the entire rest of the articles prose regarding number of species. You have been told this before. Cite the distributions in the table correctly or I will continue to tag the addition as OR.--Kevmin § 16:40, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
