Patrick J. Hanratty

[edit]

Created by SusanLesch (talk). Self nominated at 16:49, 18 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Good fact and sourced. The article meets requirements for length and newness. --Brandt Luke Zorn (talk) 17:43, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Pulled from prep area at the request of SusanLesch at WT:DYK; hook fact has been traced to Hanratty's company, and is therefore not considered reliable. An ALT hook will be devised. BlueMoonset (talk) 12:42, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks very much to both reviewers for your help. The following ALT seems to be noncontroversial -SusanLesch (talk) 13:53, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

ALT1... that the father of CAD/CAM Patrick J. Hanratty is a gold prospector?

  • ALT1 isn't quite right: I think "Father of CAD/CAM" must be quoted here as it is in the article. You might want to think about moving Patrick first, but I think whichever is the middle clause—Patrick currently, but if he is moved and the CAD/CAM placed second—needs to be set off with commas. Thanks. How about ALT2? -SusanLesch (talk) 00:15, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Reviewer for ALT2 needed. Note to SusanLesch: please don't move DYK templates when an article is moved to a new name; it causes access problems for reviewers, and all the necessary edits are supposed to only be made here (and had been). I've moved it back where it belongs. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 17:41, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
  • This article fulfils all the DYK criteria and ALT2 is appropriately referenced. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:16, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
