Mass No. 1 (Schubert)

[edit]

Lichtental church

Created by Riana (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 12:38, 21 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Looks good, except missing a citation in place for the centennial celebration. Also, for the purpose of the hook, maybe shorten to "in 1814"? I doubt that the month and day are terribly significant to the average reader. -SusanLesch (talk) 15:46, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I added the church's website (in a German), which also supports that the name Schubertkirche.
ALT1: ... that Franz Schubert composed in 1814 his first mass, a missa solemnis in F major, for the centennial celebration of the Lichtental parish church, also known as Schubertkirche (pictured)?
  • Hook source is good, so is the date. ALT1 is ready to go. -SusanLesch (talk) 02:16, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
